Posting this here too! I don’t tend to post work related stuff here, but I’m stoked for yall to finally see Thelma the Unicorn when it comes to Netflix!
WOOT WOOOT!!! The trailer for Thelma the Unicorn finally dropped!! I worked on this as a storyboard artist, and I’m so excited for yall to finally see it! It is one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on, and it is very close to my heart. Go see it May 17 on Netflix! :D

This sketch has been bouncing around in my head for a while, but I felt like drawing a more Fantasy Wizard AU of Cal and BD-1 for fun! BD-1 here is Cal's white and red raven familiar, and of course Turgle is still......Turgle....

Lol I saw your art style and was like “I bet she’s a storyboard artist” then lo and behold, I check your main blog and you ARE in animations 😅 (awesome art btw)
Heh :D Thank you!! And yup! I am a storyboard artist in animation, and I love being able to create and craft stories and storyboards for work. It is challenging but rewarding, and I have a blast boarding everyday :)

Dude, I’ve been following you since the days of the psych x tftb comics and I just gotta say how much I love seeing you enjoy life!
Even though our interests have changed over time, your art always puts a smile on my face and is a lovely surprise every time it pops up on my dash. It’s like bumping into an old friend on the street and feeling a warm sense of nostalgia.
I really wanted to say thank you for just being the kind and funny person you are! For making stuff that makes you happy and living a life that seems so full of joy. I hope this year keeps treating you well and I look forward to the next time you appear on my dash 💜
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words!! :'D. I'm glad you've been enjoying my art for so long, and that it's brought you happiness over these many years! Thank you again so much for your thoughtful message, and I hope you have a wonderful year full of joy as well! Have a Rhys!

I forgot to include this initially, but here is what the tattoo looks like up close! To help reduce the shine, you can set it with some translucent setting powder after it dries!
Yup yup! I made the tattoo with temporary tattoo paper you get from craft stores! I got mine from Joann’s, and basically you print whatever design you want backwards onto it, cut it out, and then apply as you would normally for a temporary tattoo. However, the only catch is that the paper requires an inkjet printer, or else the ink will smear. The tattoo lasts pretty much just for one day, and you can remove it with rubbing alcohol or baby oil. You can get it here!

For you Cal Kestis cosplay, did you find a pattern online or did you make it yourself? Asking cuz I'm *considering* doing one but I've never made a pattern before, lol (also, it looks AWESOME!)
Thank you!! :D My mom actually was the one who made my cosplay, and she’s a very talented seamstress! She made all the parts herself and created the different patterns. I believe she used some of the Simplicity 8480 pattern as a jumping off point for the shirt and vest, but the rest she put together as she went along. The pants thankfully were from Amazon here and I didn’t have to alter any part of the pants since they were similar to Cal’s. The boots were boots from Amazon that I got a long time ago, but I forget which brand they were. The shoulder armor thing was made of EVA foam and foam clay. The wig is from Epic Cosplay, and they have different styles and shades of red wigs. The tattoo I made using temporary tattoo paper from Joann’s, and then I printed the tattoo design onto it. I hope this helps! :)
