More tests with bubblewrap stencils, this time with carrot and broccoli shapes. Again, think this is something I will go back and draw on top of at some point.

Attempting to create some flower prints using stencils cut out from bubblewrap. Now whilst these don't look like much, I think I will go back and add to them at some point, possibly with paint pen.

This was my favourite set of photos from all the flower photos I took this week. The colours and the shapes really do inspire me!

A bit different to what I normally do, but every now and then, I see some beautifully coloured flowers that I just have to take photos of.

Well, these are some of the outcomes I've created digitally, as inspired by my previous ink splatters and paint pen drawings. There's loads of variations of these, all have 4 different versions of different faces.
There's far too many to upload here, but if you want to check them out on different products (and a load of other random character drawings), click here to view my characters collection on Redbubble.

My favourite one of the experiments with paint pen, ink splatters and acetate so far. I thought the colours really brought out the pineapple drawing and also had a bit of a summery feel to them!

I love the colours on both of these, but I was also really surprised at how well the pink worked alongside the yellow and green.

I thought that both of these worked well, both with just the red background and with the added green too.

Perhaps not the best outcomes due to the fact that you can barely see the face on the grapes, but I thought these colour combinations worked well nonetheless. More 'fruity' experiments to come later though!

Combining fruit characters and ink splatters again, though this time with the new coloured splatters I made the other day. The green and pink were a great choice!

Well, of course I had to go back to my acetate fruit drawings and add faces to them!

Two more fruits to add to my paint pen drawing on acetate collection! The right hand side are what they look like on the back.

Another couple of colours I tried with 'throwing' ink onto acetate. As ever, the ones on the right are the opposite sides.

Attempting to manually combine my paint pen drawings and some of the ink splatters I did previously. Pretty good, but I think I need more variety of colours.

Some fruity drawings on acetate, done with paint pen. And on the right hand side is what they look like on the back.

Following on from my previous post, I decided to do a 'pattern' version of my watermelon slice faces, with an ink splatter background. As you do.
