Last two weeks of my life in a nutshell

Emotion down slide.

Depression. Anxiety.

Diet on the downfall.

Weight gained (it’s amazing how fast it all comes back on)

Poor choices to try and compensate for weight gain.

Happy Monday.

Recognizing the pattern and getting back into the good habits instead of back on my bullshit.

My accountabilibuddies have been notified and they’re truly amazing women. I’m lucky to have friends like them in my life.

I went to the gym this morning and am eating right. I’m hydrating and I did a face mask.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit discouraged because I’ve gained back some of the weight I lost and it’s been difficult to re-lose the weight and continue on towards my goal.


I was pleasantly surprised went shopping today and found that size 18 jeans were too big! I can now comfortably wear 16’s. 🙂

I didn’t really like today’s exercise (even double checked her instructional video to make sure I was doing it right). Didn’t feel the burn as much. :-/

But I did it. Day 5. I think this is the longest I’ve stuck with one of these 30-day challenge programs.

Week 1 was a victory!

I lost 4.4 lbs.


Starting weight on 2/5/19: 232.2 lbs

K so yeah. It’s still a deficit. But I ate terribly this last week and it shows. :( trying to not be too disappointed in myself.

I ended up gaining 2 lbs after weigh in last week (lots of bar and arena food/beer) and had to work extra hard to get the weight back off. I didn’t do anything drastic - just followed my doctor recommended diet/water guidelines to a T and was hoping to just break even with last week. So I guess I technically lost 2.6 lbs this week? 😂

I didn’t want to do it today but I have to hold myself accountable. I didn’t give a shit last week. I snacked hardcore. I ate fast food & tons of carbs. I got drunk on Saturday night with my bestie and then I wanted greasy food on Sunday. Lol I’m starting to drift off track these last few weeks. This week has been a little better! Gotta get my motivation back in to high gear.

Lost 1.2 lbs for a total of 12.8 lbs!

Apparently I didn’t weigh in last week on here. My bad. I probably was at 220. I’ve been (still) eating mostly like crap. This past week and a half has been especially hard. My family has been doing so much together lately and they only eat out at restaurants. I’ve been making the best choices I can. I’m happy to see a deficit. I didn’t think I gained but I was sure I maintained.

I’ve hit a wall with my meal prep. I made a ton of meals and typically have two to pick from but I’m so sick of it. I even changed things up. But I just don’t want to eat it - like I don’t crave it. Lol I’m always happy after I eat it because a) it’s the healthier option and b) (and I don’t meant to brag but) I am a damn good cook.

Yassss I’m finally getting myself back on track both in diet and in exercise. I’ve been doing 45 minute walks on the treadmill (it’s still cold outside) because that’s how long one episode of Jersey Shore is. 😂 I can’t wait for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can go hiking!

Yeahhh buddy! I’ve been incorporating more walking (thanks Jersey Shore) and have been getting my eating back on track. I meal prepped this week. Swedish meatballs and riced cauliflower 🤤 it’s seriously been delicious.

I also started using 310 Shakes. I saw an ad for a starter pack of 310 products for like $9 and said “why the hell not”. So I had no intention of actually liking their product. But they’re nutritionally not bad and the shakes taste really good and have been my substitute for breakfast most days in lieu of protein bars.

Y’all. I know it’s been over a month since I updated a weigh-in…But I’ve seriously been traveling since 4/28/19. For work mostly and then over my birthday weekend for leisure. I started off by going to Las Vegas for a week for a conference. There was so much good food out there. I kept things in moderation though and came back from the conference breaking even on the scales.

Then I was back and forth to Tampa. First for work and then back to go stay with my BFF for 5 days for my birthday.


My BFF is a health nut so there was no extra indulgence except for when we went to Clearwater beach for a few days and engaged in some wonderful adult beverages on the beach.

I came back from that trip .2 lbs down. Probably honestly mostly (lol) water weight. I’ve been really trying to get back into my schedule and have been doing alright! I have had some moments where I’ve binged (like a whole box of Dominos cheesy bread for dinner). But have been alright otherwise.
