My Kabayans, it's okay to make mistakes. Don't be so prideful by owning it till the end.

I mean, back in 1901, Apolinario Mabini, the smartest man in his time, made a mistake of putting all his hopes to fr. President Emilio Aguinaldo. He supported him, he fought his enemies, he let him sit in the office when he could have had it. But you know, he realized his mistakes and just resigned. He supported the commoners, the hated the Americans and all. He was guilty, but instead of supporting him till the end because he doesn't want to be seen as dumb and unloyal, he risked it all for the sake of social justice. So what happened? A better Philippines came with the next administration when people saw the flaws of Aguinaldo that he wasn't reelected.

What am I saying? I don't know.

Last week India passed a blatantly anti-Muslim law that seeks to naturalise millions of immigrants, except if they are Muslims.

In August of this year, India revoked the autonomous status of the Kashmir region, putting a communication blackout on the state. Kashmir has entered the fifth month of no internet and heaviest militarisation of any region in the world.

India is a secular, socialist republic. This bill is anti-constitutional and against the principles on which the country was founded

Naturally, there have been protests across the country. At the forefront of the protests are students from India's public universities.

Police opened fire on peaceful protestors in Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi, and Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh.

Ever since then, the ruling fascist Hindu nationalist political party, the BJP, has been doctoring videos and sending fake news all over the internet, discrediting protestors and labelling them as terrorists

India has already seen too much religious violence, please please signal boost this, call your representatives, make them aware, get them to make statements. The only thing India and its dictator Modi care about is its image abroad

I personally know a house wife you just answered a survey about this issue and she was like "We don't have a budget to buy gadgets for online class, moreover the budget to buy load credits just to have data." Mind you she's a mother of 3 with the youngest as a toddler. Their father is a maintenance worker and the salary is just enough for them to survive. PLEASE CHED & DepEd, be considerate not everyone is like you sleeping on a airconditioned room with fast internet connection. Not everyone is like you who have everything in just a snap.
