re. wellbutrin: my partner had a horrible experience on it since it’s usually cautionary to prescribe to people with a history of eating disorders. an old friends had a great experience though, no history of eating disorders however
Hi, thanks for your input! My provider knows about my history. I think the concern is that it could cause a little bit of weight loss and is an appetite suppressant. I had a really negative experience with an SSRI and was looking for something with less side effects and this seems like it might be a good fit (barring the ED stuff) but I’m hopeful!

Anyone on or have tried Wellbutrin? I was just prescribed it to manage my anxiety and mood.

I’d like to add that I think recovering has helped too! Eating complete meals and getting good nutrients has definitely improved my hair and skin health!
Hey :) congrats on your curly hair progress! May I ask, what have you done differently in the past few years to get your hairs to be more curly? Thanks in advance. Have a great day!
Hi!! Thanks so much for the ask!! As of late, I’ve stopped coloring it which has helped. I had been getting balayage for the last few years. I had my last round of color last May and have been letting it grow out since. I’ve also been getting it cut/trimmed at least 4 times per year. Over the last few years, I’ve stuck to the curly girl method for the most part, avoiding shampoos and conditioners with silicones and bad stuff like that. I clarify my hair every two weeks which I think helps reset my scalp and roots. I would say that one big thing I’ve done within the last year or two is severely decrease how often I wash my hair. I wash it about every 5th day with a curly shampoo and then “squish to condish” which basically involves scrunching the conditioner into my hair to encourage the curl pattern. I’ve tried sooo many products over the years and I think I finally have a good routine. I’ve been using curl smiths conditioner and not your mother’s curl talk shampoo. I use curl smiths lightweight protein cream first and then scrunch in curl smiths in shower style fixer while my hair is still soaking wet in the shower. Then I gently squeeze out excess water from my hair with a microfiber towel. I think I’m going to try reintegrating a mouse for a lasting hold, bc I am finding my curls fall and frizz so that needs to be better controlled haha. After squeezing out some water I’ll either let it air dry for 30 mins and then diffuse it or diffuse right away on medium heat and medium drying speed. Then I scrunch out the crunch with hair oil. Hope this helps!! 💛
