bears in trees isn’t our job right now. we run all of our merch and planning out of our respective bedrooms. callum packages all our orders by hand, george records us, iain and i edit our videos. it’s our passion and we love it. we make enough money to sustain the band which is dope! but to help us be able to dedicate our time to the band, we have a patreon.
on patreon you can pay as little as £4 a month (the same price as a coffee) to support us directly. if you’re a member you get access to weekly updates, 17 unreleased songs and demos (and counting), behind the scenes previews, and a closer look at the band. you’ll never miss out on anything key if you aren’t a patron but if you are then you’ll get some cool bonuses. it’s really a place for people who have the financial ability to support us directly, because streaming doesn’t pay too well and we can’t tour right now which would usually be a big source of income for a band.
again, no pressure - just letting you know it’s there. d:-)
did you know bears can bite down with enough force to break a bowling ball?????? wtf
I extend my hand like a mob boss and allow you to kiss my ring but when you lean closer you see it’s one of those glo-in-the-dark spider rings you win at arcades
*godfather voice* you disrespec me… and eat my spooky spida ring, which cost me 50 tickets at funtime arcade and pizzeria… vinny, hit her with da sticky hand
the term cryptid hunting is so violent. i don’t want to hunt the cryptids. i want to befriend the cryptids. cryptid comforting. cryptid supporting. cryptid loving. that’s what i want to do. i want to find mothman and offer him my unconditional love and care
A perfect balance of extremely impressive and completely ridiculous.
Apple trees are DETERMINED. My parents planted a twig of an apple tree, and that first year it grew one apple. And the whole thing was bent over from the weight of it. It had one job and by God it was gonna do it.
New species of bat found, Niumbaha superba, and it’s adorable.
Oh wow! I’m glad people are as excited about animals as I am. Here’s some additional photos. Fun fact: this bat is so different from others that a new genus was created!
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU’RE APOLOGIZING FOR BECAUSE I’M COMPLETELY CONFUSED
The RNA vaccines approved for COVID-19 in the US both need to be distributed at extremely low temperatures. Like 40F lower than any other mass-distributed medicine.
It turns out the Dippin Dots company runs the only nationwide supply chain that’s ever operated at those temperatures. So all these big serious health orgs are consulting the expertise of, and even exploring renting equipment from, The Ice Cream of the Future™️.
I really can’t get over the fact that the official term in knitting for unravelling yarn is called frogging, because you “rip it, rip it, rip it” like ribbit and im just so ;A; about it.
