This is my duck. Yes...I have a pet duck. But he helps me more than any dog or cat could. I love him. His name is Hei Hei like the rooster off of Moana. So many people think that service animals or ESAs can only be a cat or a dog. But there are so many different animals out there that offer support to their owner. And this one is mine! and I’m not a big animal person, but I have bonded with this duck in a way I didn’t think was possible with fowl.

During this pandemic I’ve learned one thing....us introverts are experts on social distancing. Am I the only one who finds it not so bad? I feel like we are going to be the calm and collected ones in this. Even people I know personally are going cabin fever or stir crazy while I’m just relaxing. Maybe this is where we shine!

Just wanted to keep all of my beautiful Misfits in the loop. I have been hospitalized due to my sickness. I have been sick since March 4th. My pneumonia just keeps coming back and I have bronchiectasis and asthma on top of it so my airway was literally almost closed up. I got the COVID-19 test nine days ago and still haven’t got my results back so the hospital did their own COVID-19 test...let me tell you that was not a pleasant thing to go through twice. I am doing much better now that I’ve been admitted. I have really good people here taking care of me. Not even sure if I’m going to have the gas to get home after I’m discharged and a lot is going on financially so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers if you pray. Thank all of you for being there for me!

When my life is hectic, it’s had to see anything but what’s going on. Just remember....no matter how hopeless or impossible it seems, there is always an exit to the highway, always light at the end of the tunnel....even if you don’t see it right now, it’s there. And as long as you keep trudging through, you’ll get there. Things never stay smooth. Bad times turn good. Good times turn bad. Just keep rolling with the punches the best you can.
