This article is about my beloved High School. It is a very special place. Can you believe it my mother didn’t want me to go there? She graduated from the other High School at the time, Lincoln. And they opened a brand new High School and if not Lincoln she wanted me to go to Foss. It had fewer stairs.

My Alma Mater. If you only knew how funny this is. That sculpture in the picture is called India. It was added to the campus when I was a student. The student body was quite angry that $41,000 was spent on this rusted piece of metal.

OMG. Did you see this? When I was eight years old I had to have my legs broken. It still hurts 58 years later.

I sincerely hope that medical insurance is not paying for this in any way. Not even pain medication. All to gain some height? How vain does one have to be to think that this is okay?

We woke up to this. They had cameras and were able to make an arrest. This has been a bad year for fires. First the Visitor Center at Hurricane Ridge and now this. They still don’t know the cause of the Visitor Center fire. Less kind people wanted to blame the homeless but the road to the Ridge was closed and had been for over a month. The latest fire appears to have been set by a juvenile. The park was built by volunteers and paid for by public donations.
