I really loved “The Last of Us,” especially because I thought they ripped off my fungus zombie idea from “Chainsmoke Your Problems Away.” Then I found out the game had been out for a few years before I wrote the book. Oh well, I guess it happens. Has anything like that happened to you where you think you have a somewhat original idea then it turns out someone else did almost the exact same thing? An old selfie for a book update. I’m 2/3 of the way done with the illustrations for the next three installments of Smokepit Fairytales. Then all I have to do is transpose the music for them, which won’t take long at all. No promises yet, but I’m shooting for a December 1st release on “Women, Barbarians, and Slaves.” Then the next two a month apart each. I can’t wait to get these three out to you, I’m just as excited for it as you are, and I know it’s almost been two years since the release of “Six Pistols and a Dagger.” Anyway, keep your ears and eyes open, big things are coming soon.
