eret! hello! could i ask for boundaries regarding fanmerch/people doing commissions of your character?

for example: if someone does art commissions, and someone asks that person to draw you/your character, would that be ok with you?

asking because i do commissions and i do not want to do anything that would make you uncomfy!

People can do art or do commissions of me/my character as much as you want, but please do not sell merchandise with anything to do with me on it.

I want to do more merch in the future and while I appreciate the enthusiasm around fan designed merch, if a design I develop myself coincidentally looks slightly like a design by the community, I would rather not be accused of stealing or whatever as I would never do that. I commission artists I like and pay them to do that work. I just don't want to potentially upset people, so the safest thing is to just leave it to me <3

I saw someone say that Ao3 removed his real name from the Technoblade character tag (it used to fliter anything tagged Technoblade to “[Real name] | Technoblade” but it doesn’t anymore) because he asked for it to be removed. Do you know when he said that, or is this him generally not wanting his real name “out there” and Ao3 tag wranglers finally caught up?

He told chat not to use the name way back when during SMP Earth, it just took this long for Ao3 to catch up. Phil also said that it wasn’t his real name, take that how you will.

I have a question about the younger CC's and their characters in alternate universes (AU's)

Are they alright with their characters being aged up?

And not for any reasons that go against their boundaries, just for something such as, in the universe they need to be a specific age for a job like an officer or such.

I'm only asking because I would like to be sure!

I’m gonna say yes because Wilbur himself considers them canonically aged up, but take it with a grain of salt.

I've seen people say fundys character isn't trans bc fundy doesn't want to represent it wrong?? Do you have anything on it and if hes ok with just hcs

Transgender Fundy was retconned by Fundy and Wilbur because they were worried that, as a pair of cis men, they wouldn’t represent it right.

Fundy is 100% fine with the headcanon sticking around as long as you know that it’s not canon and won’t be treated as such.

another thing from bbh's stream; 1 hour 25 minutes in, he's discussing some boundaries with fanart. basic summary was that he's fairly apathetic because he knows some people are going to ignore him anyway. he specifically that things like squid game aus (when lacking explicit gore/death) are fine, he is very uncomfortable with nsfw and complete gore for the sake of gore. again i can get clips tomorrow if needed, but i think he's mentioned stuff like this before so idk if you'll need one

hi! idk if you already answered this somewhere, but since you use any pronouns do you have a preference in like, switching or just sticking w/ one?

I say I use any because I don't have a preference, you can use whatever you want for me. I would tend to use he/she/they if speaking in the 3rd person as that's just what is most common and understood by most people. But neopronouns are cool too, if you prefer to use those for me, feel free! I have no preference!

The only pronoun I personally would prefer people not use with when referring to me (if you want to use it for yourself/others, that's awesome, definitely not saying it's bad) is "it/its" as that does feel a little dehumanising for me personally. That's my personal feelings on that in reference to myself. Just want to make sure everyone feels valid and loved with whatever pronouns you may choose for yourself! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

What are your boundaries when it comes to people shipping your character specifically? Is it something that you’re comfortable with?

Our characters are us, imo there isn't much of a difference. With TV shows and movies, especially animated ones, there is a significant separation between the actor and the character. With content creation, especially the DSMP, there is very little separation, so pls don't ship or make nsfw stuff between my character and the characters of my friends. ❤
