Do you usually pet your snakes?
Hey friend!
Honestly? Not so much.
Snakes don't respond to petting like mammals do, and they don't generally seek this kind of attention. Some of my older snakes who are well-socialized and friendly will appreciate a gentle stroke down their sides and belly or sometimes a light rub around the back of their head if they seem to be in the mood. They'll respond by either staying still, leaning into the contact, or moving away. If they let me know that they're not feeling like being handled at that moment, I will respect their autonomy and leave them alone or let them choose a different activity.
For many snakes, petting can be overstimulating or make them feel like I'm exhibiting dominance or even breeding behavior!
I do often hold and carry my snakes and let them slither through my hands at their own pace. I try not to pat them or rub their backs too much because I don't want to send the wrong message, but they definitely do get human contact on a regular basis.

⚠️snake warning!!⚠️
‘Ello! I’m going to talk about random snakes that pop up when I randomly generate them.
First up-
Coral reef snakes!
More commonly known as sea snakes, these snakes are indeed venomous and pack a nasty bite. Sea snakes are widely distributed throughout the Indian and Pacific oceans, especially around Australia and New Guinea. They feed on fish and fish eggs. They can also swim (obviously) which gives them a little bit more advantage since they are both land and water reptiles.

Next up-
Water Cobra!
Also known as the Brazilian Smooth Snake or False water Cobra, this rear fanged cobra is venomous (as most cobras are) but instead of rearing up like a normal cobra, this type actually remains horizontal. Their diet consists of tadpoles, fish, frogs and other aquatic amphibians. These snakes can also swim surprisingly.

And last on our list is-
Corn Snake!
These beautifully designed snakes do not have venom or long fangs. They kill their prey by strangling it to death. But don’t worry, the biggest thing they can strangle is a mouse! These snakes are relatively docile and can even be pets! Their diet is mainly mice but they could eat the occasional eat or quail.

Note
I have come to a realization. If a snake is a noodle, then a hatched cluch of snakes is a pasta
And these are fat noodles... Fettuccine Aleggo.
