Zhongli
Zhongli was always able to see the red thread that wrapped around his left pinky finger. While he had hopes of finding who he was connected to, he didn’t really dwell in it. He didn’t want to spend his entire life looking for his someone like others did; he’d rather have it naturally happen.
Even if he didn’t find the person connected to the other end, that was fine too. Lots of people in the world never found their other person, but married someone else who was just as good.
Only time would tell, really.
“Okay everyone, please open your text books up to page 48.” The college history professor said, snapping Zhongli out of his thoughts. He quickly got his book out and flipped it to the right page.
As the professor started to talk, the door to the lecture hall opened before a loud sounding slam echoed throughout the room.
Everyone turned their head to the doors, looking at who just entered.
An embarrassed blush appeared on your face, you didn’t know the goddamn doors would be that loud.
“I’m so sorry I’m late!” You called out, quickly rushing to a seat.
The professor tilted her glasses down, “Are you the new history student, (Y/N)?” She asks.
You nod, “Yes ma’am!”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Professor Finch, your history teacher.” She smiles. “Please try to be more quiet the next time you enter.”
“Right, of course! I’m so sorry, I didn’t know the doors would slam that loud.”
“No worries.” Professor Finch goes back to looking at her book, “(Y/N), we’re on page 48. Please open your textbook and follow along.”
Quickly and clumsily opening your backpack, your heart drops when you see you didn’t have your book. Silently, you start to panic as Professor Finch continues her lecture.
Zhongli feels a tug on his pinky finger. Confused, he looks at it before his eyes widen. The red string around his pinky was connected with yours.
He stares in amazement before noticing what you were doing. A few tears were coming to your eyes as you couldn’t find your textbook. You continue to silently panic.
Getting up from his seat, he walks over to you and clears his throat. “Here, we can share mine.” He offers, voice as gentle as ever.
You look up at him, “Are you sure?”
He nods, a smile coming to his face.
After class, Zhongli got to know you a bit better. Little by little, the both of you started to hang out together.
It started first as studying together, then getting lunch, then hangouts like spending the night or going out for a drink or two.
Before you knew it, a few years had passed and you were now living in an apartment with Zhongli.
Taking a sip from your cup, you hummed as you write your essay for another class you had. Hearing a door open then close, you turn your head to see Zhongli.
“Morning.” You smile.
He smiles back, “Morning.” He walks over to the counter to start brewing some tea. His mind starts to wonder as he thinks about what to do. Three years had passed and he still hadn’t made a move nor told you about the string around his finger that connected to yours.
Those three years you spent with him made him so happy. He was so lucky that you were the one the string connected him to. So what was he supposed to do to?
“Somethin the matter?” You ask.
He turns around to look at you, his heart jumping as he saw you were right in front of him. He feels his throat close up, preventing him from speaking.
“You’re normally talkative in the morning, did something happen?” Your eyes look up at him.
He clears his throat, “It’s nothing.”
You frown, “It’s clearly something. Whenever something is bothering you, you make that face.”
“What face?”
“That face.” You point at him, “You always have your eyebrows furrowed and a serious look on your face when you’re bothered. As if you’re calculating your next move.”
He hums, “Once again, it’s nothing.” Changing the subject he asks, “Do you wanna go out tonight?”
“Where to?” You tilt your head.
“Picnic and stargazing?”
“Yeah sure!” You smile.
When night fell, you and Zhongli walked to a little park.
Zhongli spread out a blanket on the grass before you set the basket holding sandwiches and drinks down.
Sitting on the blanket, you pat the spot next to you. Sitting down he opens the basket and grabs a drink.
“Look!” You point to the night sky as a shooting star falls.
Thirty minutes pass. You and Zhongli were talking about history facts until he went quiet.
“(Y/N)?” He looks at you.
“What’s up?” You smile.
Taking in a breath, he finally just says it, “I love you.”
You blink. No words come to your mind and a blush was starting to appear on your face.
“(Y/N), I love you.” He says again. “Three years as friends was amazing. But I believe I would like to be more than friends. If you don’t feel the same way, that’s fine. I will respect your decision, whatever it may be.” He calmly says in a relaxing tone.
Minutes pass of you just staring at him before you suddenly hug him, “I thought you would never say anything!” You smile. “I feel the same exact way, three years as friends has become difficult when I realized I loved you too.”
Zhongli smiles, he hugs you back and gives you a little kiss on the head, “There’s one more thing,” He shows you his hand.
You gasp as you see a red string around his pinky. Following where it leads, you look at your own pinky, “Oh my god!” You look amazed, “I never thought I would be able to see it! How long have you known?”
“Ever since the first day you walked into the lecture hall.”

Xiao
The concept of soulmates was always something Xiao couldn’t understand. Someone was waiting out there for him? Someone was meant to be his perfect match? It sounded like bullshit.
Xiao had no interest whatsoever to find his match. He would much rather study and build a good life for him in the future than waste his time wondering where his other half was.
Maybe his reasoning for not caring was because he wasn’t able to see the red string. It almost frustrated him when all his friends turned 16 and were seeing the fated thread. All but him.
Although, he also had a sense of relief as some of his friends were driven mad because they were so desperate to find the person at the end of the string. Maybe this was the universe sparing him from being obsessed to find his match.
He had you to keep him company though. You two had been friends since high school. He would never admit it, but he had a crush on you in high school. But he was always too shy to ask you out and if he tried, he would end up spitting out some rude insult. And yet, you still stayed with him.
“Xiaooooooo!!!” You shout. He turns around to see you jumping at him.
Quickly reacting, he catches you, “(Y/N) I told you not to do that anymore. Someday you’ll end up breaking your neck because I wasn’t able to catch you.” He gives you a nasty look.
“Well you haven’t failed yet!” You smile, wrapping your legs around his waist.
“Okay, then the next time I won’t catch you.”
You pout, “No you won’t! You’ve said that since high school and you haven’t dropped me once.”
Xiao’s face doesn’t change expression as he just drops you on your ass.
“Hey! Not nice!” You get up, rubbing your butt.
He rolls his eyes, starting to walk away.
“Wait up!” You run after him. Once you reach him, you start walking beside him.
“You wanna hang out tonight?” Xiao suddenly asked you.
“Yeah sure! What’ll we be doing?”
“I don’t know.”
“What time?”
“8:30PM.”
“Anyone else coming?”
“Hu Tao, Zhongli, and Venti.”
“Mkay! See you then!” You wave goodbye.
When it was time to go over to Xiao’s apartment, you just opened the door. Walking in as his place was practically your second home. What you weren’t expecting to see was Hu Tao, Zhongli, and Venti were all crowding around Xiao.
“Hey guys! What’re you doing?” You start walking over to them.
All four of them jump, Xiao letting out a few profanities as you surprised him.
“Nothing!” Venti lets out a giggle.
“Let’s bake some cupcakes!” Hu Tao raises her arms, all excited.
Zhongli starts to read off ingredients needed for the cupcakes while Venti and you grabbed them. Not long after, you guys started baking.
When putting the cupcakes into the oven, you started working on the frosting. You being you, used your finger to swipe up some frosting before going over to Xiao and wiping the frosting on his face. You quickly ran and hid behind Zhongli.
“(Y/N)! Get back here!” Xiao yells. He starts chasing you around his apartment.
You laugh, seeing Xiao angry and having frosting smudged on his face was so funny to you. Alas, you couldn’t escape him as he was extremely athletic and fast.
Once getting close enough to you, he jumps, grabbing you and tumbling to the ground. You laugh, not realizing he was right on top of you.
Using one hand, he grabs your wrists and pins them to the ground. He uses his free hand to wipe the frosting off his face and wipes it onto yours.
“Xiao let me up!” You kick your legs.
“No. You won’t behave.” He stares at you. “You don’t get to get up until the cupcakes are done.”
“No fair!!” You pout.
“Get a room you two!” Hu Tao yells.
Xiao starts spitting profanities at the little ghost lady. Obviously embarrassed.
You look to Venti, still pinned down as you were being sat on now.
Venti winks at you while Zhongli nods. Taking in a breath, you speak, “Xiao.”
“What?” He looks at you.
Grabbing his head, you place a kiss on his forehead. Surprisingly, he kisses back.
When you two stop, you smile at him, a blush dusted on your face.
He remains silent, staring at you while his face was heating up.
“I like you.” He quietly says.
“Me too.” You smile. Lifting your arm, you show your left pinky, still smiling.
“We’re fated.”

Venti
Venti was very determined to find his fated partner. When he turned 16, he was so happy he saw the string. Determined to find the one connected to him, he would go everywhere. But he never found them. It broke his poor little heart. It took him awhile to realize he wouldn’t be finding his other half as soon as he wanted.
After accepting he would have to wait, he slowly started to heal. When he went to college, he got music scholarships as he decided he wanted to be a music teacher.
During his free time when he found himself not needing to do homework, he would go to to an archery club.
And that’s where he met you.
“Hey Venti!” Amber walks over to him, Yoimiya following behind.
“Hi Amber!” Venti smiles, waving to her.
“Did ya hear we’re getting a new member?” Yoimiya asks excitedly.
“We are?”
“Yeah! They’re coming here pretty soon!” Amber’s excitement matched Yoimiya’s perfectly.
“I hear they’re exceptionally talented. They even got multiple scholarships for archery and I’m pretty sure they’re training for the Olympics.” Yoimiya bounces up and down.
“Wow really? That’s so cool! I don’t think I would be able to handle both school and training for something such as the Olympics. It’s amazing that they have enough time to get extra practice with all of the things going on.”
The three archers keep talking until they hear the door open and close. Looking over, they see you carrying your archery equipment into the building.
“Oh my god oh my god!!” Yoimiya jumps up and down. She grabs Venti and Amber, bolting over to you.
“Hi there! I’m Yoimiya, this is Amber, and this is Venti!” Yoimiya introduces the them.
You look at her, blank face. Brushing them off, you set your bow on the rack and place your arrows in the quiver. Sliding your arm guard on, you make sure it’s in the right place.
Venti’s eyes widen as he sees your left hand raise to adjust something. There on your pinky, was the red string.
From that day on, Venti would not leave you alone. For a long time, he annoyed the hell out of you. Always asking questions you never answered, giving you things you didn’t want nor ask for, trying to sing you songs to which you would throw something at him to shut him up.
Eventually you got used to him. You sorta enjoyed his company. Sure, you didn’t talk or answer Venti, but you liked listening to him. You even liked his singing.
Venti, on the other hand was starting to get depressed. Whenever he asked you a question, he took your silence as ignoring him. He took your blank face as you hating him.
“(Y/N),” He approaches you, he looked a bit down and sad, “If you don’t want me around you, please just tell me.”
A part of you feels your heart ache, a small flash of sadness shows onto your face before leaving.
“Please (Y/N), just tell me you don’t want me around. Tell me I’m annoying. Tell me you hate me. Tell me to never go near you again. Because I can’t take this anymore.” He looks at you, eyebrows knitted together as he waits for your response.
You internally panic. You weren’t good with other peoples emotions. From a young age, you were raised isolated to make sure your archery training wasn’t interrupted.
You hadn’t ever seen Venti so upset. You were used to his cheerful and careful personality. So seeing him like this was panicking you.
Venti takes your silence as an answer. “Okay, I’m sorry for bothering you.” He bows before walking away.
After that, you didn’t see Venti for weeks. Suddenly, you started feeling the loneliness and sadness, something you thought you were used to by now.
Finally sick of being so sad, you took in a breath, walking out of your apartment, you went to the grocery store. Looking around, you start looking and sorting for the perfect apples.
If you recalled correctly, somewhere in one of Venti’s rants, you remembered him saying he loves apples and cecilia flowers.
After buying flowers and lots of apples, you start looking for Venti or one of his friends. When you spot him and Amber, you quickly walk over.
“Oh, hey (Y/N).” Amber smiles.
You nod at her before handing the items to Venti. He looks surprised.
Your face shows a confused look. You were trying to figure out how to word everything before speaking.
“I’m sorry, for making you upset.” You finally say. “I’m not good with other people. But I really really like you. So much that it sometimes hurts when you aren’t around.” You look to the ground, “I want you around, you’re not annoying, I don’t hate you, please come back, I can’t take this anymore.”
A soft smile appears on Venti’s face, “I really really like you too. So much that it hurts all the time.” He calmly says.
Feeling something on your pinky, you look amazed as you see the red thread.
“(Y/N), from the moment you stepped into the archery club, I knew you were my person. My red string connects with yours.”

Childe
Tartaglia didn’t care if he found the person connected to him. He was a model so he already received the attention he wanted. He had dated countless people but none of the relationships lasted. Not that he cared, he would just find someone else with his good looks. It’s very easy to find someone when you’re a hot model.
From a young age, Tartaglia had exceptionally good looks. Hence why his parents put him into modeling at the very young age of 7. When he turned 16 and saw the red thread, he payed it no mind. He was already happy with someone. Until it ended.
For the next few years, Tartaglia would rotate through partners every few months or so. When he reached college, he was still a professional model. But he wanted to expand his career.
“I’m sorry Childe, I want to break up.” His girlfriend said straight to his face.
He looks at her, shocked. What did he do wrong? He thought he had done everything right. As he nods his head, accepting the breakup, he couldn’t help but feel annoyed, or rather, angry. What was he doing wrong? Why didn’t any of his relationships last?
Glancing at his pinky, he sighs as though the red thread was taunting him. Maybe it was time he looked for his other half.
“Tartaglia!” His manager yelled.
“What’s up?” He takes a sip of his water, brushing his hair back.
“We’re bringing in another model. They’ll be working with you for a few months.”
He nods, “Okay.”
A few days later, they brought you in. You smiled brightly as you walked onto set. You got to know the whole team before meeting Tartaglia. Smiling, you wave to him, “Hello, you must be Tartaglia. I’m (Y/N).”
Tartaglia’s heart stops, he stares at you. Your hand, it had the string tied on you. He stares at you for a solid minute or two before snapping out of it and smiling, “Tartaglia, call me Childe.”
“Alright you two! Lets get to work!”
The both of you nod before going onto set. There was a red velvet bed and pretty decorations around it. It appeared you two would be modeling for a perfume fragrance.
Getting onto the bed, you lie down on your back, Childe getting on top of you. You arch your back as he tilts your chin up. Gently placing your hands on his biceps, the two of you remain in that position for a few minutes. Adjusting every now and then when the people told you to.
For the next few months, you and Childe molded together. Sometimes you two had to model some rather intimate things.
Childe had become increasingly affection towards you. He’d give you hugs and little kisses on the cheek. You didn’t see it was him trying to flirt, only him being nice. You had many friends both male and female that kissed you in a platonic way.
“(Y/N)!” Childe runs towards you. He engulfs you into a hug before giving kisses on your head.
You giggle, “Hi Childe!”
“I’ve missed you!”
“But I’ve only been gone for three days?”
“Three days too long! C’mon, we gotta get to work!” He grabs your hand and leads you into the building.
Eventually the day came where you would no longer be working with Childe. It did make you feel very sad, as you would miss his affection. But, you said goodbye to Tartaglia.
“Wait!” He grabs your wrist.
You turn around, looking at him, “What is it?”
“I..listen. I like you. I’ve been in many relationships, romantic and platonic, but none have made me feel the way I feel about you. I really like you. And I don’t want this to be goodbye. Please, can I take you out on a date?”
You stare at him. Throughout your whole modeling career, you had always turned down people when they asked you out. I didn’t want to mix dating and modeling together. If the news got out you and the person interested in you broke up, it would blow up and cause quite the problem.
But at the same time, you liked Childe. Really really liked him. And you did trust him. So, taking a leap of faith, you broke your own rule.
 “Yeah, sure.” You smile. “I like you too.”
Tartaglia takes your hand, lifting his up too, he shows you the red string connecting you and him.
Tumblr media
Scaramouche
Scaramouche was never able to see the red string. He didn’t care though, he didn’t need a partner. He was too entertained by you.
In high school, Scaramouche would bully the hell out of you. He would spill things on you, stick gum in your hair, and call you degrading names. He was truly a terrible person.
But then there were sweet times. If anyone else picked on you, he would yell at the person. And if he saw you were crying because of someone, he would go beat the shit out of that person.
It didn’t change the fact that he was still terrible to you, though.
When you turned 16, you felt your world shatter as you saw the string connect you to Scaramouche. He was your perfect match? Your soulmate? The one who will love you no matter what? No. No he couldn’t. You could never fall in love with such a terrible man.
Once you graduated high school, you were horrified to know Scaramouche was going to the same college as you were. You thought you would’ve been able to break free. To finally never ever see your bully again.
“God you’re such an idiot.” Scaramouche looked at you, disgusted. “No wonder you can’t find a boyfriend. No one would want to date someone as ugly and stupid as you.”
“Scaramouche shut the fuck up! You don’t need to be rude to them!” Ningguang yells. She hated people who picked on her friends. And Scaramouche was certainly a person she despised.
“You shut up! It’s not my fault I’m telling the truth about (Y/N). They really are stupid. I don’t even know how they got into college.”
Tears start pricking at your eyes. You quickly get up and walk away.
“Little baby!” Scaramouche yells at you.
“Leave them alone!” Ningguang stands up, glaring at Scaramouche. “Y’know, you should be lucky (Y/N) is so nice! Because if I were them, I would’ve reported you to the police for harassment! At this point, you’re practically stalking them to only verbally assault them! In fact, I don’t even understand why they put up with you! I hope they never ever have to meet someone as terrible as you again! You’re a burden on them!” She spits before angrily walking off.
Scaramouche remains quiet. He couldn’t come up with a snappy remark. He angrily stares as Ningguang walks away.
Because of Ningguang’s little vent, Scaramouche went a bit easier on you. He wasn’t a total jerk anymore, but he was still mean.
“(Y/N) you’re so useless! All you do is-”
“STOP!” You finally yell. “Stop it! Stop bothering me! Stop bullying me! I hate you! I hate you so much! I hate your eyes, I hate your voice, I hate your whole existence! Why do you have to bully me?! Why do you have to inflict so much pain onto me?! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE THE ONE MY STRING CONNECTS TO?” You fall to the ground, sobbing.
Scaramouche looks at you, shocked. “W-what?” He takes a few steps towards you.
“DON’T COME NEAR ME!” You shout, “DON’T YOU DARE FUCKING TOUCH ME!” You get up off the ground, wiping your tears. You glare at Scaramouche through your watering eyes before walking away.
“Fuck.” Scaramouche grits his teeth. “God fucking damnit!” He yells. How was he going to make this better? You hated him. You hated him with every fiber in your body. The one person he secretly hoped liked him hated him. And the irony of it all? You two were soulmates.
For a couple days, Scaramouche would go looking for you. But whenever he found you, your friends would make sure he couldn’t even see or talk to you. It was really starting to piss him off.
“(Y/N)!” He shouts. He starts running towards you.
You turn around, face showing a fearful look. You start running away from him.
Unfortunately, he caught up to you. Grabbing your hand, he turns you around to look at him.
“Let me go!” You struggle in his grip, “Leave me alone Scaramouche! You’ve got what you wanted, okay? You’ve done it! You’ve made me believe every single word you said to me!” Some tears fall from your eyes.
“That’s not what I wanted!” He pushes you up against a tree, trapping you.
“Then what did you want?!” You try to get out from being pinned.
“YOU! I WANTED YOU!” He yells.
You stop struggling, staring at him, “W-what?” Your voice is barely audible. No louder than a tiny whisper.
“I like you, (Y/N). I have since we were in elementary school.” He looks into your eyes, face holding a serious look.
“Then why. Why would you bully me?”
“Because I didn’t know how to deal with it. I wanted you. But I wasn’t able to see the red string. And I was terrified you would be connected to someone else.” He sighs, putting his arms to his side so he wasn’t trapping you anymore.
You remain quiet, still staring at him.
“I’m…sorry. I’m sorry I hurt you. I was hurting and I pushed it onto you. I have no excuse.”
You take in a breath before letting it out. “Scaramouche, I have no reason to forgive you. But, if you will agree to start anew and leave behind the past, I think we can start over.”
He nods, “Yeah. I would like another chance.”
You smile, “Okay then.”

Heizou
Heizou was able to see his string. He enjoyed it as he loved to investigate. Finding his match would be so much fun to him. It’s like finding a missing person using the clues given to you.
When he couldn’t find you in his high school, he took a small break. Going into college, he was taking criminal justice classes; hoping he would be able to become homicide investigator.
“Agh what am I missing here?” He looks at the papers in front of him. He was trying to figure out an imaginary murder his teacher assigned to him.
“The fingerprints.” You suddenly say. You lean over him, pointing to the fingerprints on the paper. “The fingerprint on here doesn’t match the one on the knife.”
Heizou furrows his eyebrows, looking at the fingerprints more closely, “You’re right! There’s a slight difference in them!” He turns and looks at you.
You chuckle, brushing a piece of hair out of your face.
“Oh, I don’t think I’ve seen you around before?” He tilts his head.
“Yeah, I don’t come to the library often. I’m (Y/N).” You reach your arm out.
“Heizou.” He shakes your hand, looking at it before seeing the string. He blinks, surprised he found you. “You wanna sit next to me?” He pats the chair next to him.
You smile, sitting down, “What classes do you take here if you don’t mind me asking?”
“Criminal justice and forensic science classes. You?”
“Forensic sketch artist classes.”
Heizou feels his heart skip a beat. You were perfect. Who knew his soulmate would be into the same stuff as him?
“Can I get your number?” He blurts.
You blink, surprised, “Uh sure.” You take his phone as he hands it to you. Typing your number into it you smile at him before giving it back.
From that day on, you and Heizou texted each other everyday. You really liked him. He was super smart and kind, he was your male best friend.
“Hey (Y/N)!” He waves to you.
“Heizou!” You run to him, jumping onto him as he engulfed you into a hug. You giggle before he sets you down on the ground.
“Ready to go eat lunch?” He asks. You nod.
Following him, you walk into a hill and sit under a tree. He hands you a sandwich before taking a bite out of his.
A light cool breeze blows your hair as you munch on your sandwich.
“How are your classes going?” He looks at you.
“Pretty good! I’m working on a sketch for a hypothetical murder.” You hum happily.
“Is the sketch of the murder victim or the murderer?”
“Murder victim. You wanna see?”
“Hell yes I would!”
You reach into your backpack and pull out your sketchbook. Flipping it open, you turn some pages before showing Heizou the sketch.
“(Y/N) that’s amazing! It looks so good!”
You laugh, “Thank you!”
“You’re gonna be so good as a forensic sketch artist! You can’t forget me when you become a famous one!”
“Heizou I’m never gonna forget you! I promise. I love you too much.” You give him a close eyed smile.
He feels his heart once again skip a beat. Butterflies flutter in his stomach as he looks at you. You looked so perfect in his eyes.
“Um, (Y/N)?”
“Hmm?”
“I like you. You’re amazing and smart and super talented. I think we would make a great team. Both in job and in a relationship.”
You let out a tiny gasp, “Heizou, are you asking..?”
“Yeah. Yeah I am. I really like you, (Y/N).” He smiles at you.
“I like you too.” You smile back at him.
“Can I..?” He carefully and quietly says.
You nod, giving permission.
Hazily raises his hands, he gently places them on the side of your face before giving a gentle kiss.
You let out a giggle.
“(Y/N), did you know? You’re my fated partner.”

Zhongli
-Zhongli was talking to people. He thought since he was at this little party with you, he would at least try to be apart of it.
-You on the other hand, were also having fun. It was nice seeing some friends again.
-You smile at Zhongli as you watch him speak so politely to people, including little children.
-Going back to talk with your friend, your ears pick up on something…interesting.
-“Well look at you,” A person says, they look Zhongli up and down, “Aren’t you a catch.” They smile.
-Zhongli slightly cringes on the inside. But he politely smiles, “Thank you, I appreciate your compliment.”
-“No problem, hotsicle.” They wink.
-Once again, Zhongli cringes on the inside. This was very uncomfortable for him.
-Sure he knew people had a few crushes on him, he could tell people liked his looks. Though, he never let it get to his head.
-You walk over to the two of them. You smile passive aggressively.
-“Zhongli, who’s this?”
-“I’m Kit, single by the way.” They smirk.
-“Sorry, repeat that?” You ask again, still smiling.
-“I’m Kit. And I’m single, ready to mingle.”
-“One more time please,” You tilt your head, still smiling.
-“Are you deaf?!” Kit asks.
-“Oh no,” You slightly giggle, “I just couldn’t hear you over the little voice in my head saying to punch you in the throat.” Your smile drops.
-Zhongli coughs, trying to hide his laugh. He clears his throat.
-Kit stares at you in horror.
-A bell rings.
-“Whoops, Zhongli and I have to get going now.” You smile again.
-Taking Zhongli’s hand, you walk away with him.
-“Was that necessary? You could’ve just said we were together.” He looks at you.
-“No, I like my way better.” You smile before giving him a little kiss on the cheek.

-Y’know Xiao wouldn’t leave your side, even if you were actually trying to protect him.
-The both of you protected each other, though most times it was Xiao who was beating up random things or people if he saw you were uncomfortable or getting injured.
-As a little joke, you decided to slip away from the Adeptus.
-He immediately could tell you weren’t near him. He starts to slightly panic.
-Did someone kidnap you? Did they take you hostage? Where were you?
-He starts to quickly look around, trying to find you.
-He walks around, accidentally bumping into someone.
-“Well hello there.” The person says. They smile at him while looking him up and down.
-Xiao makes a disgusted face. He tries walking past them but they wouldn’t let him.
-The person tries their best to get Xiao’s attention. Doing everything they can to make them look attractive.
-Didn’t work on Xiao. But he still couldn’t get away from them.
-You look over to your boyfriend, a frown appearing on your face as you could see he was clearly uncomfortable and annoyed with the person hitting on him.
-You look down at the table in front of you.
-Wow, what a beautiful looking fork. The craftsmanship was so pretty. Little details sat on it.
-You pick up the kitchen utensil, inspecting it.
-Man this fork, it’s so pretty. Unlike any other fork you’ve ever seen, this one was sure a beauty. God you just couldn’t get over how pretty this fork was.
-An innocent smile makes its way to your face as you flick the fork at the person hitting on Xiao.
-It stabs their throat, they fall to the ground bleeding and gasping for air.
-Everyone looks around, trying to find out where the fuck a flying fork came from.
-You quickly make your way to Xiao and leave the party. That was enough for one day.
Tumblr media
Venti
-Dear god Venti was starting to get a bit drunk. He wasn’t wasted, but he wasn’t sober either.
-It was like he was drunk enough to have a buzz, but sober enough to still know what was going on around him.
-You smile as you see Venti just dancing around, he having a good time.
-That was until he accidentally spilled some dandelion wine on someone.
-His eyes go wide as he quickly apologizes and tries wiping the red wine off the person….who was wearing white.
-“How dare you! Stupid dumb bard!” The person yells.
-“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to!” He apologizes.
-The person scowls, they raise there hand to slap the poor Archon.
-You quickly make your way towards Venti, grabbing the person’s hand before they could slap him.
-“Get out of my way!” The person tries to shove you.
-You stand your ground, hand tightening around their wrist, you smile innocently.
-“I apologize on my boyfriends behalf. But I do not believe he deserves to be beaten for spilling a bit of wine.” You calmly say.
-“This is expensive silk! Someone like him should pay the price for ruining something so priceless!” They yell.
-“If you beat him,” Your innocent smile never fades, “I’ll make sure to give it back to you twice as much.”
-Your grip tightens again, surely causing major bruising to the person’s wrist.
-They give you a nasty look before ripping their wrist out of your grip, “I won’t be so nice next time.” They stomp away.
-You turn to look at Venti, crouching down to him.
-He had a few slight tears in his eyes. Alcohol often made the bard experience emotions stronger than normal.
-You place your hands on his cheeks, smiling as you wipe away his tears with your thumbs, “Let’s go home, we both need to rest.”
-Venti nods, getting up.
-You support him as you and him walk back to your little home.
Tumblr media
Childe
-Childe was just chatting away with some people. It was a very fun night to be at the party.
-Lots of games and nice foods were out.
-It was very nice.
-Until, it wasn’t so nice.
-Childe ended up getting into a little squabble, which ended up getting him into a fight.
-While he was having fun since he always liked to challenge people, you were not.
-In fact, you were worried something would happen to him.
-Sure, he’s strong. But there were still doubts in your mind. It was normal, it meant you cared for him.
-So when you saw another person charging towards your man, you quickly grabbed a small cutting board and whammed it over their head.
-The cutting board ended up splitting in half.
-And down went the person.
-“What in the world?” Childe looks at you.
-You have a small happy smile on your face, “We’re leaving now. Your siblings are tired.”
-“Oh!” He nods, delivering one last punch to the original person attacking him.
-“Off we go then.” He smiles as he takes your hand and starts walking away.
Tumblr media
Kamisato Ayato
-Being the partner of Ayato was very nice. He was a very smart person. Not to mention, he was also very strong.
-When he got invited to a party, he actually decided to go. Why? Because he needed some information on someone there who was also just as hidden as him.
-So at the party, Ayato was trying his best to be apart of it while trying to remain a bit mysterious.
-He made up a fake name, fake family; everything he told was a lie.
-You were there too. You stood by Ayato’s side, carefully watching your surroundings while also trying not to look suspicious.
-When your eyes caught onto a particular person, you stared at them. They were certainly planning something.
-Fast forward to the next day, Ayato had gotten a report.
-“Sir! There was a body found in the waters!” One of his servants said.
-Your eyes widen as you were surprised.
-“I see,” Ayato thinks for a little bit, “Drag the body out and inspect who it is. If it’s someone I don’t care about, throw them back in.”
-The servant nods, quickly disappearing.
-You turn your head to Ayato, “Um, Ayato?”
-“Yes?” He raised an eyebrow at you, taking a sip of his drink.
-“That’s not where I put the person’s body from last night.”
-He spits out his drink, staring at you.
-A nervous and awkward smile appears on your face. “Sorry?”

Tumblr media
Xiao
-Xiao was patrolling Liyue. It was pretty late at night.
-He walks around, scanning each area multiple times before moving on to the next.
-He jumps down from a building, landing on the ground. Taking some time to himself, he walks around.
-“Papa!!” He hears someone yell. He quickly turns around, only to see a little child running towards him with their arms spread open.
-Xiao takes a step back, he wasn’t expecting to see a small child. When the little person reaches him, he quickly jumps up into a tree.
-He perches on a branch, staring down at the tiny human being.
-The little child reaches their arms up to him, making grabby hands. “Papa!” The young child says again.
-Xiao makes a strange face, why was there a little mortal being out so late? Were they in danger? Were they lost? Did their family get attacked by monsters?
-He debates on wether or not to run away. This child was so young, if they were even around him, his karmic debt would rub off on them, causing issues.
-But at the same time, this child was alone. There was no one in sight looking for them. And if he didn’t help this kid, what kind of Adeptus would he be? His job was to protect Liyue. And that means protecting the people of Liyue too.
-He slowly jumps down from the tree, keeping a bit of distance from the child. He crouches down, going to the child’s height.
-He tilts his head slightly, still staring at the child.
-A giggle comes from the little human. They clap their hands.
-“Where’s your family?” He asks, trying not to frighten the child. His ears perk up when he hears another voice.
-“(S/N) where are you? You’re going to worry mommy!” You look around before spotting your little sibling and the Adeptus.
-“(S/N)!” You run towards your sibling, picking them up and placing them on your hip. You turn your head, looking at the Adeptus. You bow, “I’m so sorry for disturbing you, Adeptus Xiao. My younger sibling often wanders off when I’m not paying attention to them. They try looking for my father, who has already passed.”
-“It’s fine.” He looks at your sibling and then to you, “Just don’t let it happen again. I would hate to have to save them because you didn’t keep your eyes open.”
-You nod, “Yes sir!”
-Fast Forward a few weeks or so, Xiao had been secretly watching over you.
-Of course though, your little sibling had run off again. This time, into danger.
-Picking them up, you run away from the hilichurls. Jerking to a stop, you look up a small cliff. It was the only way you were going to be able to get to safety.
-Putting your sibling’s life first, you quickly help them up. Placing your hand on their bum, you push them up.
-Almost getting to the top of the small cliff, your foot slips, making you tumble down.
-“Baba!” Your little sibling shouts, wanting to get back down to you.
-You look at the hilichurls speeding towards you before looking up at your sibling, “(S/N), run! Don’t look back, just run!”
-“Baba!” Your sibling says again. A few tears prick at your eyes, “Go! (S/N) just go!” You look up at them, a smile on your face, “Your big sibling will catch up, okay?”
-Taking your word, your little sibling runs.
-A few tears fall down your face, “I’m sorry, (S/N). You’ll be okay.” You face towards the hilichurls again. Leaning your back against the cliff, you slide down to sit.
-You smile.
-Closing your eyes, you wait for your fate.
-“You’re an idiot.” Xiao’s voice says in your ear.
-You open your eyes to see him standing in front of you, blocking you from the hilichurls. Looking to your left, you see your younger sibling next to you, burying their face into your side.
-In just a few seconds, all of the hilichurls were killed. Xiao turns around and looks at you, “What did I tell you?” He raised an eyebrow.
-“I-I’m sorry!” You quickly say, “(S/N) went out looking for dad again. Mother was busy cleaning the house while I was helping her.”
-The Adeptus sighs, “Guess I’ll be watching over you, then.”
-You blink, “What?”
-“You heard me.” He crouches in front of you, staring into your eyes, “I’ll help you protect (S/N).”
(More under the cut!)
Tumblr media
Zhongli
-Zhongli was out having lunch with Hu Tao.
-Hu Tao was rambling about a funny little prank she did on someone.
-“And then they were like, ‘Ah!’” She giggles.
-Zhongli raises his eyebrow, he didn’t fancy pranks. But who was he to ruin someone’s fun? As long as someone was directly threatening Liyue, he was fine.
-He takes a sip of his tea, still listening to Hu Tao. Normally he was the one talking, but today the pyro user seemed to be more energetic.
-He calmly stares at her while drinking his tea. Only to stop when he feels something tugging at his pant leg.
-He looks down to see a small child clinging onto him.
-“Papa!” The child says all happily.
-The Geo Archon just stares at the child. Who’s kid was this? And where were they?
-His attention goes back to Hu Tao when he hears her snapping her fingers.
-“Did you even hear what I said?” She raises an eyebrow.
-“Ah, my apologies. I got distracted as I seem to have a young child clinging onto my leg.” He looks back under the table to see the child.
-“WHAT???” Hu Tao’s eyes go wide when she too, looks under the table to see a child. “Wh..What the heck?? Where did this little kid spawn from?”
-Zhongli shrugs, he’s oddly calm about this situation. Maybe it’s because he’s been around human children for many a millennia.
-He gently grabs the young child and sets them on his lap, “Where’s your mother?”
-The child claps their hands before giggling, “Baba!”
-Thinking the child called their mother ‘Baba’, Zhongli rephrases his question, “Where is Baba?”
-The child only giggles.
-Hu Tao looks around, “Hey wait, I think that might be my friend (Y/N)’s younger sibling.” She looks closer at the tiny child.
-“Yeah, that’s gotta be their sibling.” She smiles.
-“You know this child’s family?” Zhongli raised an eyebrow at her.
-“Well yeah, (Y/N) and I used to pull pranks on each other. But then they kinda just….disappeared. I haven’t seen them much for the past few years.” She puts her pointer finger on her chin, thinking. “On the rare occasion, I would see them going out shopping for food. They didn’t look too good, though. They seemed always tired and ready to pass out.”
-Zhongli hummed, “We should return your friend’s sibling. They’re most likely worried sick.”
-Hu Tao nods, “I know where they live. Follow me!”
-The two of them walked together, the child clinging onto Zhongli.
-“Wow, who knew kids liked you?” Hu Tao giggles.
-“(S/N)!” Your voice suddenly shouts. You run over to Zhongli and Hu Tao. “Oh my god there you are you can’t scare me like that! Mom would’ve killed me if I lost you!” You quickly take your sibling from Zhongli’s arms.
-“Hey (Y/N)! Long time no see!”
-You look to Hu Tao, “Oh hey!” You smile, bouncing your sibling on your hip.
-“Haven’t talked to you in a long time! What happened?”
-You blow a strand of hair out of your face, “Yeah uh, a lot has happened in the past few years. Dad passed and (S/B) here goes looking for him every time they have a free chance.”
-“Aw I’m sorry!” Hu Tao frowns.
-“Papa!” Your younger sibling shouts again. They make grabby arms towards Zhongli. “Parents!” They clap their hands.
-You smile, “Yes yes, parent.”
-“You’re a parent?” Zhongli looks at you.
-“No no! (S/N) and I’s mother works full time so she’s never home. I’ve had to take on the parenting role.”
-He nods, understanding what you meant.
-A smirk makes its way to Hu Tao’s face, “Hey Zhongli! You’d make a great father figure! Plus, you have many stories to tell that would be great for a child!” She silently cackles, “And the kid already is calling you Papa.”
-He stares at your baby sibling as they were still smiling and making grabby hands towards him.
-“I suppose I can try and help raise (S/N).” He looks to you, “You do look like you might need some assistance. You look very frail and tired.” He gently takes (S/N) from your arms.
-(S/N) laughs happily.
-You give a tired smile, “Thanks.”
Tumblr media
Venti
-Venti was casually playing his harp while sitting on the ledge of the bridge.
-He strums the strings, humming a soft melody.
-Suddenly, he hears a child call out to him.
-“Papa!” The child shouts, arms raised out as they ran towards him.
-He turns around, getting off the ledge of the bridge. He crouched down to the child’s height, “Are you talking to me?” He tilts his head.
-“Papa!” They say again.
-He lets out a giggle, “I’m surprised you’d call me dad. I certainly don’t look old enough to be one.”
-The child jumps up and down, smiling.
-“Alright alright! What do you want to do?” He smiles back at the child.
-The little human twirls around and around.
-Venti smiles, he twirls his finger, causing some wind to pick up. He carefully uses the wind to pick up the child into the air.
-He grabs the child’s small hand and holds onto it while the wind lifted the kid.
-The kid laughs.
-“(S/N)!” You shout, running towards the bard and your sibling. You panic, seeing your sibling floating in the air.
-Venti carefully sets the child back down, making the wind die down.
-You grab your sibling, checking them for any injuries. Once you confirmed they weren’t hurt, you hug them. “Don’t scare me like that!”
-Venti blinks. You looked awfully young to be their mother. But what did he know?
-“Are you their parent?” The bard looks at you curiously.
-“No no! I’m their older sibling, (Y/N).”
-“Venti.” He smiles, “Can I ask why they were calling me their dad?”
-You blink, “Oh, uh, our dad passed away a few years ago. (S/N) was very young at the time. And my mother didn’t want them to see our father at his funeral. So they believe father is just out on a journey.”
-The bard nods, “I see,” He goes into a thinking position, “Are you the only one taking care of (S/N)?”
-“Yeah, our mom is still struggling about the loss of our dad. So until she’s able to heal from it, I’ve been taking care of (S/N).”
-He nods, “I’m sorry.” He gives a sympathetic smile.
-“It’s alright.” You slightly bow, “Thank you for finding (S/N)” You then take your siblings hand and walk away.
-Days went by and each day, (S/N) would run off, looking for the bard.
-And every time, they would find him. They always called him Papa.
-It got to the point where Venti would often hang out with you and (S/N).
-You thought Venti to be a good guy. Though sometimes immature, he was still great with your baby sibling.
-You two would continue to help each other raise your sibling until the time would come they could be on their own.
Tumblr media
Diluc
-Diluc was cleaning the Dawn Winery. While it was open and there were guests, he still felt he could clean the counter of the bar area.
-He looks up when he hears the bells on the door jingle. But there was no one.
-He blinks. Did a ghost just decide to say hello?
-“Papa!” He hears a child’s voice.
-Wondering what the hell was going on, he looks over the bars counter, seeing a young child.
-Who the frick let a child in here? While children often came here with their families, it wasn’t usual seeing a child on their own.
-“Papa!” The child calls again. They raise their arms, wanting to be picked up.
-Diluc walks out from behind the counter. He crouches down to the child’s height, “What’s a little kid like you doing here? Especially on your own?”
-“Up up!” The child cheers.
-Standing up, the winery’s owner gently picks the child up.
-The child cheers, they were very happy.
-Diluc checks the child, looking for any injuries. “You seem to be well taken care of.”
-He hums, “Alright kid, I’m gonna keep you in the back room until I find out who your parents are.” He takes the child to the backroom. He looks around, trying to find something the child could play with.
-The bells on the door jingle again, in comes you, frantic and panicking.
-“Has anyone seen a little child? My baby sibling ran away when I wasn’t looking! Please has anyone seen them?” You call out to the people hanging in the winery.
-As the people shake their head or say they hadn’t seen a child, you feel your world start to fall apart.
-Diluc heard the ruckus, he gently grabs the child and brings them out, “Is this who you’re looking for?” He walks towards you with your sibling.
-He sets them down on the ground.
“(S/N)!” You run to your sibling.
-“Baba!” They shout as they run towards you.
-You scoop them up in your arms, giving them a hug like you hadn’t seen them in years.
-You look to Diluc, a smile on your face, “Thank you so much for finding (S/N). I’ve been looking for them for hours.”
-Diluc nods, “No problem. Why were they running from you, though?” He asks, suspecting you may be not taking care of the child as well. What else would cause a child to run away from someone?
-“(S/N) has been looking for our dad. He passed years ago but (S/N) doesn’t know that.”
-“I see. And what’s your name?”
-“(Y/N), a pleasure to meet you.”
-“Diluc, likewise.” He looks to (S/N), “Best you take them home. They look tired.”
-“Oh uh, yes of course. Thank you so much Diluc.” You thank him before walking out of the winery.
-Every now and then, you would see Diluc walking around. Specifically around Monstadt during the night.
-Your baby sibling also saw him. And boy did they get so happy. They would run to him calling him their dad. Even if it was late into the night.
-In the end, Diluc started to help take care of (S/N).
Tumblr media
Childe
-Childe smirks, “Man you’re real tougher than I thought!” He says to some mages.
-He laughs as he dodges their attacks, making sure to beat the shit out of the mages.
-“Papa!”
-“What the hell?” He turns his head, eyes widening as he sees a young child.
-He quickly finishes off the mages before running over to the kid.
-“What’re you doing all the way out here?” He looks at them.
-“Papa!” The child says again. They jump up and down.
-A small smile makes its way to his face. The young kid reminded Childe of his younger siblings.
-He picks the kid up, “Let’s go find your parent, I’m sure they’re worried sick.”
-The child giggles.
-Childe walks around for about 30 minutes. He hadn’t spot anyone looking for a kid.
-Until he saw a bit of commotion in town. He quickly made his way over before seeing you frantically running around and asking if anyone had seen a child.
-“Excuse me!” Childe waves towards you, “Is this the kid you’re looking for?”
-Your eyes widen, “Yes! Oh my gods!” You run over to him. You bow, “Thank you thank you for finding my baby sibling! I’ve been looking for them for hours!”
-“It’s no problem.” He sets (S/N) down. “I hope you don’t mind me asking, but you look awfully young to be a parent.”
-“Oh no no! I’m (S/N) older sibling! Our father has passed and our mother is often busy so I have to take care of (S/N).” You look up to Childe.
-He frowns, “So you take care of your younger sibling all alone?”
-You nod.
-“That’s a lot of responsibility,” He looks at you, “I have three younger siblings and as much as I love them, I couldn’t imagine raising a kid on my own.”
-You blink. Was he insulting you or impressed?
-“W-well I’ve been doing this for years now. And our mom still provides for us. She’s just always busy and doesn’t have time to take care of (S/N).” You nervously say.
-Childe smiles, “That’s pretty impressive! You gotta have a strong mind for that!”
-You nod, “I’ll take (S/N) now.” You gently grab your siblings small hand and walk away.
-The Fatui member watches as you walk away. A small pit forming in his stomach. Through all the things he’s fought, nothing could be tougher than never seeing your mom and losing your father, only to be left taking care of a child on your own.
-A few days pass, and Childe couldn’t stop thinking about you and (S/N). He sighs as he walks around town.
-His head perks up when he hears you and your sibling. A smile comes to his face as he walks over to you.
-“Hello (S/N)!” He happily says.
-Your younger sibling excitedly smiles, “Papa!”
-He smiles back at them before looking to you, “I never caught your name?”
-“(Y/N).” you say.
-“That’s a lovely name! I’m Tartaglia, but call me Childe.”
-You nod, “Nice to meet you.”
-And from that day on, Childe was always spending his time with you and (S/N). Granted, he always made sure to spend time with his family too.
-But he introduced his younger siblings to (S/N), and now they had someone else to play with besides you.
Tumblr media
Albedo
-Albedo doesn’t go out much. He prefers to stay in his own little area.
-Who would’ve thought the day he decides to do some errands, a little child would come running up to him.
-“Papa!” The child bounces up and down.
-He stares at the kid, “Sorry kid, I’m not your dad.” He crouches down, “But you’re very adorable.” He smiles.
-The little human giggles.
-“Now tell me, where are your parents?” He asks.
-The kid only happily smiles.
-He sighs, “I suppose I can’t leave you here.” He gently grabs the kids hand, “Let’s go look for your parents together.”
-Hours pass, Albedo hadn’t found anyone looking for a kid. The sun had set by now, and there was no way he was just gonna leave a kid.
-He sighs, “I’m going to take you back to my place. We’ll continue looking for your guardians tomorrow.” He picks the kid up.
-They happily giggle.
-Fast forward to the next day, you were running around Monstadt looking for your younger sibling. When you went looking for them yesterday, you didn’t think they would disappear.
-As you can’t find your baby sibling, you collapse to the ground. Crying your eyes out as you claw at the ground.
-You mutter apologies, assuming the worst had happened to them.
-“Excuse me.” A voice says.
-You look up, your heart stopping as you see your younger sibling.
-“(S/N)!” You shout. You quickly get up taking your sibling from Albedo’s arms into yours.
-You cry as you hug your baby sibling. “Don’t scare me like that! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry I should’ve been watching you!” You sob.
-Albedo stares at you. He found it sweet how caring you were. “Are you their parent?” He suddenly asks.
-You shake your head no, “No, I’m their older sibling.” You wipe your eyes. “Our father has passed and our mother disappeared after he died.”
-“So you raise them on your own?”
-You nod, “Yeah.” You kiss your sibling, happy to see them.
-A slight pain goes through Albedo’s chest, this poor kid.
-“(Y/N)! I had so much fun at that mans place!” Your sibling says happily.
-You freeze before looking up at Albedo, “W-what?”
-“It’s not like that. I found them yesterday and went looking for their guardian. But I couldn’t find you and it was getting late. So I let them stay at my place for a night.”
-You thank Albedo, talking a bit more before taking your leave.
-For the next few days, Albedo can’t forget about your baby sibling. They were so adorable. And he loved kids.
-So he goes out looking for you and (S/N). He looks for awhile before finding you.
-“(Y/N),” He approaches you.
-You turn to look at him while holding your sibling on your hip. A smile comes to your face, “Hey Albedo.”
-He nods, “Um, this is a bit weird, but would you and (S/N) like to hang out? I know a kid named Klee. I think (S/N) would get along with her.”
-You blink, “Um, sure?”
-Bad idea.
-Kaboom.
-Although Klee was chaotic, (S/N) liked her a lot.
-So every now and then, you, Albedo, Klee, and your sibling would get together and hang out.
-It was great.

Genshin Men As Body Guard Boyfriends
Fandom: •Genshin Impact•
Chracter(s): >Zhongli, Xiao, Venti, Childe, and Kamisato Ayato (all separate)!<
Genre: Crack Headcannons
⚠️Warnings⚠️: Blood, violence, threats, poisoning.
Prompt: What would the Genshin men do if they saw someone hitting on you while during a gala they’re at to protect you?
Request?: Nope, but requests are welcome!
Readers Gender: Gender Neutral! (Please know all my headcannons will have a gender neutral reader unless said otherwise. As this way, the headcannons are more inclusive to male, female, non-binary, and other readers! :D)
Notes: This is just pure crack. I haven’t posted in a bit and I don’t have time right now to write a full on oneshot because finals are coming up. So, please take this as a little intermission before I start writing oneshots again!
(NOT PROOFREAD)
Tumblr media
Zhongli
-Zhongli let’s you have your space. There’s no need for him to stick to you like glue. You’re a pretty strong person and you have no issue sticking up for yourself. Besides, he’s only there in case you need him.
-He stays by a wall, keeping his golden eyes on you. He makes sure you’re not too far away, but not too close. Just enough space for him to get by your side in less than 30 seconds.
-Everything seems fine. You’re having a great time talking with people who you haven’t seen for a bit.
-That is, until someone comes up to you. They place their hands in your hips, trying to sway your body.
-You separate yourself from them, politely asking they don’t do that.
-“Oh c’mon. Dance with me, I’ll make you sway.” The person says.
-A very uncomfortable look appears on your face. The person wouldn’t leave you alone and wouldn’t give you space.
-This doesn’t go unnoticed by Zhongli. He sees everything that’s happening.
-Carefully opening up his suit, he yawns as he pulls out a stone.
-The stone is a smooth pebble. Small enough to fit in a pocket.
-He nonchalantly flicks the rock at the person. Purposely making sure enough force was used to shoot the pebble straight at the person to knock them unconscious.
-It smacks the back of their head, causing them to collapse to the floor, blood spilling onto the ground.
-Screams erupt everywhere. Including from you.
-You look straight at Zhongli, “SERIOUSLY?! EVERY TIME?!” You stare at him in disbelief.
-He smiles innocently before putting on some sunglasses and grabbing you, leading you out of the building.
-Least to say, you were safe. And that’s all that mattered to him.
(More under the cut!)
Tumblr media
Xiao
-Xiao keeps very close to you. There is no way in hell he’s going to let you get hurt.
-Though, he does try to respect your space. He keeps maybe, 5-8 feet away from you.
-What can he say? He just doesn’t want you to get hurt. He can’t lose you like he lost the other Yaksha. It would really feel like he was dying if he lost you.
-So when someone comes up to you, saying very explicit things and lightly touching your body, Xiao immediately runs towards you.
-He straight up laments this person’s ass while calling them a demon.
-“How dare you touch (Y/N) so inappropriately, demon!”
-“Xiao stop! You’re going to kill them!” You try to grab him.
-Takes about 17 people to get Xiao off the poor beaten up person.
-You sigh as you grab his hand and leave the party. “Xiao what the hell. Why would you beat up someone?”
-“Why not? They were touching you inappropriately. They don’t deserve to not be beaten.” He argues.
-Rolling your eyes, a cheeky smile makes its way to your face, “Whatever, Xiao. Just don’t do it again.”
-“Not promising anything.” He replies.
Tumblr media
Venti
-Venti trusts you. He’ll stick around you while you talk to people. Sometimes he’ll leave your side for a drink or two, but he tries his best not to get carried away.
-After all, he needs to remain conscious to protect you in case you need it.
-But one more drink wouldn’t hurt him, would it?
-He politely excuses himself and goes to get a drink. Picking it up, he takes a few sips.
-Before his eyes narrow onto someone.
-He stares as he watches a person come up to you. They try offering you a drink.
-“No thank you, I’m good.” You politely say. This person gave you the creeps. There was no way in all of Teyvet you would EVER take a drink from this person. You’d rather drink from a menstrual cup.
-A slightly angered face appears on Venti as the person wouldn’t leave you alone. He finally has enough and makes his way to you.
-Using the wind, Venti lifts himself up to the person’s ear, “If you don’t hippity hoppity on out of here and away from them, I’m gonna bippity boppity your ass out of Teyvet.”
-The person turns around, horrified to see an innocent looking child(?) saying such a threat.
-Venti smiles happily, “Better get going!” He uses some wind and throws them out the window.
-You look at him, smiling, “Thanks, Venti.”
-“No problem, love! I’ve always got your back.” He winks.
Tumblr media
Childe
-Childe gives you space. He trusts you a lot. And he knows you can hold up your end in a fight. Although you were never able to beat him personally, he has seen you beat other things up with no problem.
-Don’t get him wrong, he keeps his eyes on you. But at the same time, he too, enjoys the party.
-But that all changes when someone approaches you.
-They were CLEARLY drunk. And for some reason, you reminded them of their ex-spouse Sam somehow.
-They start yelling at you. Calling you awful names like bitch, slut, cheater, etc etc.
-You can’t deal with being yelled at very much. Your eyes start to water as you panic, not knowing how to handle the situation.
-The cup Childe is holding shatters as his grip had tightened around it.
-An irk mark pops up on his face as he makes his way towards you.
-Once he reaches you, he straight up just punches the person unconscious.
-“Hmm, they were weaker than I thought.” He stares at them.
-His eyes travel to you as you have little tears falling from your face.
-He gives you a smile, “It’s okay, (Y/N), I took care of them! Let’s go, shall we? It’s pretty boring here.”
-He picks you up and leaves the party. After a bit, your tears stop as Childe does his best to calm you down.
-“There we go! There’s my strong partner!”
Tumblr media
Kamisato Ayato
-The fact that you even got this man to attend a party is already crazy.
-Although, it didn’t take much to get him here. His main goal was protecting you. That’s all that mattered.
-Ayato let’s you walk around on your own free will. He doesn’t keep near you and he doesn’t even show himself.
-He’s just chillin in the shadows, doing his best to remain unnoticed and low-profiled.
-Don’t underestimate him. He keeps an eagles eye on you.
-As soon as he spots someone suspicious going near you, he strikes.
-Before this person can even get to you, they’re already gone.
-Something must be going on at that party because for some reason, you keep attracting dangerous people.
-Ayato’s eyes narrow as he watches someone walking around you.
-To the untrained eye, this person just looked like they were trying to find their friend.
-But Ayato knows better.
-Finally revealing himself, he walks up to this mysterious person, offering them a drink.
-A beautiful smile sits on his face as he watches the person take a sip from the cup.
-Immediately, the person starts gasping for air.
-Everyone’s attention turns to Ayato and the person.
-“Oh dear, you’re allergic to mint? I hadn’t known.” He acts surprised.
-Ayato turns his head to you, looking as you had a worried and fearful expression on your face.
-“Pardon me, but it seems I need to leave.” He walks away from the gasping person to you.
-He leads you out of the building, a happy smile on his face.
-“What did you do?” You stare at him.
-“Don’t worry about it,” he smiles, “Let’s go home.”
-Ayato secretly knew that person was allergic to mint. But he would never admit it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🔹🔹🔹~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chrysanthemums; a very beautiful flower. Its silky petals and bright colors brought you happiness.
Whenever you received a chrysanthemum, a smile would come to your face. The townspeople of Liyue knew you loved them.
Xiao knew you loved them too.
It’s a funny story how you met the Adeptus. He had caught you walking around in the late hours of the night.
You had been walking with a flower crown on your head, you hummed as your hands skillfully weaved flowers together to make a new one.
The Adeptus saw you were toying with something. Though not knowing what it was, he assumed it was something dangerous.
You continued walking before stopping when you heard something land behind you.
“What do you have in your hand.” A harsh voice said.
“Hmm?” You turned around, hands pausing from weaving, “Oh, it’s a flower crown.” You said, not even fazed a polearm was pointed at your throat.
“What is a human doing out this late?” He narrowed his eyes at you.
“I couldn’t sleep.” You simply answered.
Xiao withdrew his weapon, “Where are you going?”
“To a flower field outside of town.” You smiled.
He raised an eyebrow, “It’s dangerous to go out alone at night.”
“Hilichurls sleep at night.”
“You could get hurt.”
“I’ll be alright, thank you.” You slightly bowed before starting to walk away.
The Adeptus made a confused face. You talked as if there wasn’t a danger in the world. Not to mention, you talked so casually to him. Did you know who he was? Did you know you could die? Were you stupid?
He quickly caught up to you, walking beside you. No humans ever really caught his interest. But you, you were different.
“Don’t you have patrolling to do?” You looked at him, curious on why he was following you.
“There are other Adepti who are also on patrol. They can protect Liyue if anything happens.” He answered.
“And why are you following me?”
“I can’t have you getting killed by something because you were being stupid.” He bluntly said.
You hummed. The both of you walked in quiet before you got to a little field. When you saw it, a happy smile made its way to your face. You started running towards it.
Xiao, unsure of what you were doing, quickly scanned the perimeter, looking for anything that could attack. His eyes went back to you, the moon shined on your figure as you sat in a field of chrysanthemums.
He walked to you, “This is where you were going?” He asked. He saw nothing special about this place.
“Yes!” You got up and placed the completed flower crown on his head.
“You could’ve come during the day with someone.” He took the flower crown off his head, holding it in his hand.
“But they aren’t as pretty during the day.” You pouted. “When it’s night, the moon gives them some sort of glow. They look brighter when the moon hits them than when the sun does.”
“They’re flowers.” He said, very unimpressed.
“Okay okay, come here.” You patted the ground next to you, “I’ll show you what I mean.”
He walked to you and sat down right beside you.
You picked a flower, “Look.” You held it in front of him.
He looked at it, eyes slightly widening as he realized what you meant. The flower did seem to glow a bit when the moon hit them.
And that’s how you and Xiao first met. Xiao would always join you when you went to the flower field at night. He said he was there because he didn’t want you to die a stupid death. Even though he said that, it wasn’t fully true. He had actually grown to like you.
He often asked himself why he would like a human. But you were so interesting. You weren’t the average person.
You could look at something and see the detail that really brought out the object. What looked like a normal beautiful plate would turn into something more than just a pretty plate when you looked at it.
As soon as you noticed the small detail that made it something else, you were able to point it out. Putting the specialty into perfect words.
Xiao loved spending time with you, though he would never admit it. He liked watching you craft and draw. Your drawings were very good. He liked how the most messy sketch or the most simplistic line could be turned into something so beautiful.
“(Y/N).” He looked at you.
The both of you were sitting in a grassy field. You had decided to go watch the stars as you heard there would be a meteor shower.
“What?” You looked from the stars to Xiao.
“Close your eyes.” He quietly said.
“What? Why? I’ll miss the shooting stars.” You looked at him, confused.
“There’ll be more. Just close your eyes for a few seconds.” He looked at you, unimpressed.
You sighed, “Fine.” You closed your eyes.
Xiao reached into his pocket and pulled out a little cloth. He took it out and tied it around your head, covering your eyes.
“What are you doing?” You reached your hand up to take the blindfold off.
The Adeptus quickly grabbed your hand, preventing you from reaching the blindfold.
“Xiao what are you doing?” You tried pulling your hand out of his grip.
“Just calm down. I’m not gonna do anything bad.”
You bit your bottom lip, a bit unsure. Slowly, you set your hand down on the grass. You heard some shuffling, turning your head towards the noise you felt something lightly press against your lips.
You let out a little shocked noise. Surprised to feel another pair of lips on yours. After a few seconds, they left.
Quickly taking the blindfold off, you looked at him. “Did you just..?”
He looked away from you, a small blush appearing on his face.
Your face also started heating up, you gently placed your fingers on your lips.
Xiao pressed his lips into a thin line, still not looking at you. You weren’t saying anything or doing anything. You were just staring.
Did he do something wrong? Was that not how to handle the situation? Did you not like him back? Did he read your emotions wrong? From what he knew, humans could like someone after knowing them for awhile. Did he do this too soon? Did he not observe humans and pick up on their behaviors as much as he thought he did?
Questioned circled his mind before they were all stopped when he felt you turn his face towards you and press your lips on his.
He stared at you, eyes wide.
You broke the kiss when you started laughing. Your head went to his chest, “I like you too.”
He wrapped his arms around you. A happy and peaceful feeling in him.
-
For a few years, you and Xiao spent your days together. Most of the time, Xiao spent the night patrolling around Liyue. But some nights he would spend time with you.
Every night he spent with you, he cherished. You brought a happy feeling in his chest.
Until the night he lost you.
It started when the two of you went out to spend some time with each other. Everything seemed normal. It was just one of your normal outings.
You two had travelled to the Guyun Stone Forest to look for Starconches. He had only taken his eyes off you for a second. When he looked back, you were gone.
He looked around, “(Y/N)?” He called out. His heart started racing as he started to run around the small islands, looking for you.
He quickly turned his head when he heard the sound of shouting. Making his way towards the noise, he saw you trying to get away from some treasure hoarders.
The necklace you were wearing had caught their attention. And they wanted it.
“No! Get away from me!” You shouted, hand holding onto your necklace.
Your necklace belonged to someone important to you. They gave it to you before they set off on a journey. Only, they never returned.
The treasure hoarders continued grabbing you, trying to get your necklace. They were trying to check your pockets too for anything valuable.
One grabbed you from behind and held you against themself.
You jumped up, leaning against their chest, you kicked your legs in the air, “Get off me you crazy!” You yelled.
“Hold still!” A treasure hoarder yelled. He was getting annoyed with your struggling. When you didn’t listen, he finally snapped. Taking a small dagger, he dug it into your stomach, twisting it.
Xiao’s eyes widened as he saw you get stabbed. The scream you let out pierced his ears, shaking him to the core.
He summoned his polearm as he lunged at the hoarders.
They dropped you to the ground, focusing on the newcomer.
In just a few minutes, each of the treasure hoarders were beaten. The Adeptus made sure they would never breathe again.
Xiao threw his weapon to the ground. He quickly went next to you and cradled you in his arms. His hand went into his pocket and grabbed a cloth. Pressing it against your stab wound, he desperately tried to stop the bleeding.
“Shit shit shit shit.” He quietly said. He applied more pressure to the cloth.
You winced, grabbing his hand.
A few tears fell from his eyes, “I shouldn’t have let my guard down. I shouldn’t have! If I had only stayed aware we wouldn’t be in this situation and you wouldn’t be in pain!” He yelled through is tears. He tied the cloth around your stomach, making sure it was tight. He then picked you up and started to run back to Liyue for help.
Tears started slipping down your face, “Xiao,” You gently said, “I’m not going to make it.”
“Shut up, don’t say anything like that!” He kept running. For the first time, the Adeptus felt out of breath. His lungs ached and burned as he continued to run.
You looked up at him, a sad smile on your face, “Xiao, let’s go home.” You started to cry, “I want to see the flowers again.”
“Shit stay awake! We’re almost there!” He looked down at you. He watched in horror as he saw your eyes slowly shut. When they did, he collapsed to the ground, letting out a painful sob. He wiped his tears, trying to get them to stop but they wouldn’t.
He stared silently at you. Brushing his hand against your cheek, you were getting cold. He cried silently, hitting the ground in frustration and pain.
The one mortal who meant something to him, he lost. It was his fault. He couldn’t save you. He didn’t protect you. He failed you. He let you die.
He killed you.
What felt like hours of crying and mourning were only minutes. You had passed just a few minutes ago, and yet it felt like you had been gone for hours.
When Xiao got back to Liyue, he buried you where you loved the most.
The chrysanthemum field.
A beautifully painted stone sat where you were laid to rest.
-
It had been a few years since you passed.
Xiao placed some chrysanthemums on your stone. “Happy anniversary, (Y/N).” He felt a pit form in his throat.
Every year on your anniversary, he would place three chrysanthemum flowers on your stone.
A red one; meaning love and deep passion.
A white one; meaning loyalty and honesty.
And a yellow one; meaning deep sorrow.
Xiao kept a white chrysanthemum charm on him at all times now. Even with you gone, he would remain loyal to you and you alone.
Many a time, his mind would wonder to a certain conversation the two of you had. He closed his eyes, remembering it.
“Xiao.” You poked his shoulder.
“What?” He looked at you.
“What’s your opinion of reincarnation?”
He shrugged, “I don’t have a strong opinion on it. Though, I sometimes believe it’s real.” He looked up at the night sky, “After living for so long, I sometimes see a person who closely resembles another person who has already passed. They aren’t exactly the same, but they’re very similar.”
You hummed, “When I die, I promise I’ll come back to find you when I’m reborn.” You smiled at him.
His breath caught in his throat. He almost forgot you were still a mortal. Destined to pass when time decided to collect you. He shook those thoughts away, giving you his reply, “I’ll wait for you, then.”
The Adeptus looked up at the sky, “(Y/N), six years have passed. It’s lonely without you,” He paused, “Sometimes I wonder if I should just give up,” he grit his teeth, feeling tears prick at his eyes, “But, I won’t. I will continue to wait for you.”
Often, Xiao would walk the beaches alone. One night, he had an empty bottle and some paper.
Sitting down on the beach, he took out a pencil and started to write;
‘Today, I walked alone on the beaches of the Guyun Stone Forest and picked up several Starconches along the way.
I heard that they contained secrets and can be used to send messages. But when I put them to my ear, I heard no voices, just the hollow sound of the wind.
No matter.
The wraths of evil spirits, the omens of calamity… and your voice. That’s all I need to hear.
When you’re free, come talk to me about what you heard from the Starconches.’
Rolling up the paper, he stuffed it into the empty bottle and put the cork back on. He stood up and threw the bottle into the water, watching it as the current carried it away.
Maybe one day, you would meet again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🔹🔹🔹~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A mothers scream truly holds the most emotions. The fear they feel when their child is in danger is unlike any other.
You remembered the sound of the piercing shriek your mother let out when you fell through the ice.
The freezing water showed no mercy as it instantly started ripping into your warm skin. Panic and fear settled into you, and the first stage of drowning took place; surprise. Not knowing what to do, you started to pound your small fists against the ice.
The fast moving current quickly grabbed you and started to drag you downstream, causing you to sink into the icy cold water. It made it impossible for you to swim to the surface. Even if you were able to get there, the ice would not permit you to surface for air.
Holding your breath as long as you could, you prayed to be saved. Time was running out, and your body would soon force you to take a breath, even if you were underwater.
No one seemed to be coming. No one seemed to be saving you. Your mother couldn’t save you, the ice was too dangerous to walk on. If she even tried to follow you above the ice, she would fall through too. And if she followed you whilst staying on the river bank, she wouldn’t be able to reach you.
Time was up. Your body forced you to take in a breath of air, causing you to inhale water. The water travelled down your throat and into your lungs, filling them up.
Realizing there was water in your lungs, your body entered stage two of drowning; involuntary breath holding.
The epiglottis in your throat closed over your airway, causing you to be unable to take a breath. Even if you tried, your body would no longer allow you to breathe.
A few more minutes passed. By now, you were entering stage three of drowning; unconsciousness. Because you had gone without oxygen for so long, your body started to shut down. Breathing stopping, you were now in respiratory arrest and fully unconscious.
This is it. This is how you go. A sad ending, but for the better good. Parents must protect their children, the eldest child must protect the youngest.
As you continued to sink, you would soon enter stage four of drowning; hypoxic convulsions.
Until, the ice broke. Something or someone was in the water with you.
Strong arms wrapped around your waist as you were pulled up above the ice. The person laid you on your back. They soon started CPR. Connecting their lips with yours, trying to get air back into your system then quickly switching to do chest compressions.
After a few seconds of CPR, you let out a weak breath of air, still unconscious.
The crunching of snow was heard. Causing the mysterious person to suddenly disappear.
Your mother sobbed as she ran towards you, your younger sibling in her arms. She set your sibling down and practically collapsed to her knees next to you. She quickly checked your pulses, along with seeing if you were breathing. When she felt your breath and saw your chest rising up and down, she cried even more. She looked around, wondering who saved you. And that’s when she saw them. The mysterious person.
You gasped, quickly sitting up in your bed. A cold sweat enveloped you. Your hand went to your chest, trying to calm your panicking heart.
Another nightmare. Another horrible nightmare of your near death experience. Even if it happened long ago, your body never healed from the trauma.
As you desperately tried to stop the feeling of your throat closing in, you gasped for air. Your mind knew you weren’t in any danger, but your body didn’t know. It thought you were drowning, dying, in some sort of dangerous situation.
And it was panicking.
Tears swelled in your eyes as you were hyperventilating. You started to cry as you were afraid, terrified, actually. You couldn’t scream, nor make any noise. It was like you were reliving the trauma.
No one could help you.
All you could do was scream and plead and beg in your mind that your panicked state would end soon, that your body would realize you weren’t dying.
A good thirty minutes or so passed before your body started to calm down, lungs aching from hyperventilating.
You wiped your tears and the saliva that dripped out your mouth. You sighed, knowing your blanket was covered in saliva and tears. You were going to have to wash it now.
Getting up from your bed, your feet met the cold wood on the floor. Your heart skipped a beat, the wood wasn’t cold like ice, but it still tricked you into thinking it. You took a deep breath in before letting it out. Repeating in your mind you were just feeling the cold wood. Looking out your window, you saw it was still dark out. It must still be early in the morning. Probably around 2:30AM.
Walking to the bathroom, you went to shower to try and shake off your nightmare. You found it funny, you had a severe case of aquaphobia but not ablutophobia. Undressing and dropping your clothes to the floor, you turned on the shower, making sure the water was warm. Ever since you fell into the icy cold water when you were younger, you feared the cold; giving you something commonly known as cryophobia.
As you were showering, your mind started to wonder off into random directions. Until it finally stopped at who saved you. You couldn’t remember anything after you lost consciousness. And when you woke up, you were in your room with your mother sitting next to your bed waiting for you to wake up. A mountain of blankets piled on you and a burning fire going.
You remembered after you woke up, your mom was thanking and apologizing to you. But you only had two questions; was your sibling alright? And who saved you?
Your mother told you your sibling was perfectly fine. As for the answer to your second question, she didn’t know. All she told you was a person saved you. She remembered they had a dark hair color with a bit of turquoise. Their hair was short in the back but long in the front with bangs. That’s the only thing she could remember.
You sighed, turning off the shower and stepping out. You wrapped a towel around your body and exited the bathroom, walking back to your room. You dried yourself off and got dressed. Peeking out the window again, it was still dark.
After you nearly drowned when you were younger, you refused to go out of the house. Your mother had to make the decision to leave Monstadt and move to Liyue. Though she didn’t realize a part of Liyue was built above water. You didn’t mind though, the simple solution was just not to go to that part of town.
You sighed, deciding to go on a late night walk. You wouldn’t go far, probably just around town. You got your shoes on and exited your house. Your mother and sibling still sleeping soundly in bed.
As you walked around you started thinking once again. Liyue was very different from Monstadt. Instead of worshiping the Anemo Archon, people worshipped the Geo Archon. Not to mention, people often talked and worshipped beings called Adepti. You had no clue what an Adepti was. Nor had you ever seen one. But after a few years of living in Liyue, you knew one of their names. He seemed to be the most popular for some reason. The people called him Xiao.
You had never seen nor met the Adeptus Xiao. Which was quite interesting as people seemed to constantly talk about him. But it appeared as if the people knew nothing about him. A few were able to say they had seen him, but he disappeared too fast for them to do anything. You had overheard the Adeptus patrolled Liyue during the night. Apparently he had a very cold personality and seemed to be extremely angry.
Looking down at the ground while thinking, you didn’t realize you were headed to the border where Liyue ended.
You kept going before you heard a cold voice, “Where do you think you’re going.” The voice demanded.
You looked up, turning around and facing the one who spoke. Your eyebrows furrowed, you had never seen this person before. Their piercing gaze sent a wave of fear down your body.
Unable to respond due to fear, you just stared at them. They looked to be male and were relatively short. But that didn’t matter as he was very intimidating.
The man’s eyes narrowed, “I asked you a question.” He started walking towards you, summoning his polearm.
“W-wait!” You slightly shouted, “I-I’m just taking a late night walk!”
“Humans aren’t up this late.” He pointed his weapon right at your throat.
You gulped, “I had a nightmare! That’s all. I just came out for a walk to try and clear my mind, honest!” You stared at him, taking in his looks.
Xiao took a step closer to you, weapon still pointing at your throat. He took in your appearance. You didn’t seem like a threat, but he couldn’t be sure. Something did seem familiar about you, but he didn’t know what.
“What’s your name.” He harshly demanded.
“(Y/N).” You quickly replied.
Your mind tried thinking of things that could save you. Until something in your brain clicked, this man standing in front of you, was none other than the Adeptus Xiao. From the way he spoke as if he weren’t a human and how he seemed to be patrolling, you were able to figure out his identity. Not to mention, he fit the description of what the towns people described. Including looking very angry and speaking coldly.
You took in a shaky breath, “There is nothing I can do to prove I am not a threat. Which means you have to trust me when I say I am not here to cause trouble.” You carefully said, hoping not to anger the Adeptus any more than he already looked.
Xiao scowled, “Go home lest you change my mind of sparing you.”
You nodded, thanking the scary Adeptus before quickly walking home.
That concluded your first interaction with Xiao. You’d think from that interaction you would refuse to go out at night. But that didn’t seem to be the case. Even though he scared the shit out of you, you kept taking late night walks. Why? Because they did help you calm down when you had a nightmare, and, you were stubborn. It had been a few months now. Each time you walked around, Xiao would confront you. Asking you questions you sometimes didn’t know how to answer. Though whatever you were able to mutter seemed to work.
As you walked around town again, you forgot how many times you saw Xiao patrolling.
There were times Xiao seemed not as cold, maybe even friendly; making you possibly think he was alright. But then that thought would be shot down fast when he would say something harsh towards you.
After so many night walks, Xiao eventually got used to you prowling around at night. He slightly trusted you weren’t up to anything bad. But he always checked up on you to make sure you didn’t step out of line.
You hummed as you walked around town, “Nightly check in?” You asked, turning around.
He nodded, “Haven’t done anything?”
“You already know the answer to that.” You teased. He rolled his eyes, “C’mon.” He roughly grabbed your arm.
You blinked, “What the heck are you doing?” You pulled your arm out of his grip.
“Taking you somewhere.” He bluntly answered.
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms you replied to his answer, “Listen here buddy. We may have gotten used to each other but that doesn’t mean you can grab me and randomly kidnap me. For all I know, you could try to kill me.”
He rolled his eyes, “If I wanted to kill you I would’ve done it already.” He grabbed your hand, “Now c’mon.”
You sighed, “Fine. Kidnap me I guess.”
“Shut up before I smack you.”
You went silent. After a few minutes of walking, Xiao let go of your hand. He crouched down, his back facing you, “Hop on.”
“What.” You blinked. Now you were really confused. In the months you had known Xiao, he was never like this. He always treated you like you were some kind of threat he couldn’t trust or keep his eyes off.
“Do I have to repeat myself?” He asked. He sounded angry.
Not trying to piss off the Adeptus any more, you wrapped your arms around his neck. Once he stood up you wrapped your legs around his torso.
Xiao kept his grip around your legs. He started running before getting to a mountain. He jumped, hopping from ledge to ledge.
You looked down, blinking. Dear god you were high up. And to make matters worse, a small river was on the ground, flowing evenly.
Your eyes widened as you saw the river. Fear starting to settle into you. Your grip tightened around him and you buried your face into his back, trying not to look down again.
“We’re almost there.” He said, trying to calm your nervousness. But he just sounded very annoyed.
A few more minutes passed before he finally stopped, “Now get off.”
You let go of him, wondering what you were doing in a cave. “Why am I in a cave and what do you want with me?”
He looked at you, an unimpressed look on his face. “Turn around moron.”
You turned around, facing the opening of the cave. Your eyes lit up as you saw the pretty view. Liyue even at night looked so beautiful.
Xiao walked up to you. He sat down on the ledge of the cave. He patted the spot next to him. You sat down next to him, making sure you weren’t invading his personal bubble.
It was quite for a moment, but only for a moment before you spoke, “It’s really pretty up here.” You fidgeted with your fingers, “But uh, the river is a bit scary.”
He looked at you, “It’s just water. How is it scary?” He bluntly asked.
You sweat dropped, “Uh, it’s a bit more complicated than that.”
He stared at you, waiting for an explanation.
You sighed, “When I was younger I almost drowned. I was saving my sibling from falling into the icy cold river. But in doing so, the ice cracked under me and I fell in. And because I nearly died…I’ve been afraid of water ever since.” You nervously bit your lip, “I was saved by someone. But I don’t know who.“
Xiao blinked, his eyebrows furrowing. Your story sounded familiar, but why? He went into deep thinking, trying to figure out why he felt like he knew you. From the first time he approached you, something seemed familiar. But of course he had to push that feeling aside so he could protect Liyue if he needed.
It remained quite for a little longer before he finally spoke, “I saved a young child from a frozen over river. They were nearly dead before I got to them. I had to preform CPR on them since no one else seemed to be around.”
Your heart stopped. Could Xiao be the person who saved you? “W-What river?” You asked, heart racing.
“The river near Falcon Coast.” He answered.
Your eyes widened, “That’s where I was when I almost drowned! Were, were you the one who saved me?”
“Probably.” He said casually.
Your eyes teared up. Xiao noticed this and his heart skipped a beat. He didn’t know why you were crying or how he was supposed to make you stop.
“Thank you.” You quietly muttered, lips trembling. “If you hadn’t saved me, I wouldn’t of seen my sibling grow up. Or celebrate my parents anniversaries.”
“Stop crying.” He harshly said. Though he didn’t mean for it to come out that rude.
“Sorry.” You looked away from him. Feeling bad.
That only made Xiao feel even more uncomfortable. “I didn’t mean it that harsh,” he started, “I’m not good with mortals feelings.”
You wiped your tears away, a laugh coming from you, “Yeah, I could tell when you would try saying something, but it only came out sounding like a threat.”
“Shut up.” He glared at you.
You only laughed more. After a few seconds, you calmed down. It went quiet again.
“You said you were afraid of water, right?” He asked, while staring at you.
You turned your head, meeting his eyes, “Yeah. I have aquaphobia, bathophobia, cryophobia, cymophobia, and thalassophobia.”
He looked confused, “What do all of those mean?” Phobia’s were weird to him. He had not a fear of anything. So to hear so much only one person had was confusing to him.
“Aquaphobia is the fear of water. Bathophobia is the fear of depths. Cryophobia is the fear of cold things. Cymophobia is the fear of waves, sea swells, and other wave-like motions. And then thalassophobia is the fear of deep bodies of water like the ocean or sea.” You explained.
“You’re just afraid of anything related to water? What about bathing?” He raised an eyebrow.
“I take showers which I don’t have trouble with. I can’t take a bath though.”
He nodded, “I see.”
“I’ve tried facing my fear of water. But every time I try to go into a river or ocean or even a pond, I freeze up and start crying in fear.” You said.
“I don’t understand why you have your phobia’s. Or why other mortals have such stupid fears,” Xiao started, “I have no fears. What I feel is extreme loneliness. The pain I feel is often psychological, sometimes physical. As the last Yaksha, I have to deal with the memories and the trauma of the past.”
“I’m sorry.” You gently said, “I can’t help with your trauma’s. And I will never understand the pain you feel,” You looked up at him, “But I can help with the loneliness.” You smiled. “Whenever you’re feeling alone, I’ll come visit you.”
He blinked, feeling his heart start to race, “In return, I’ll help you with your fear of water.”
Your smile got a little bigger, “It’s a deal.” You said before an idea came to your mind, “Wanna do CPR again?” You joked.
Xiao choked on his spit, he smacked the back of your head.
“Ow! I was joking!” You rubbed the area where Xiao smacked you.
He stared at you, before quietly saying, “Maybe one day.” He quickly looked away from you. Trying to hide his embarrassment.
You stared at him in shock. Surprised he even said that. After a few seconds, the shock wore off, permitting you to speak. “I’ll wait for that day, then.” You smiled.
And that’s how you and Xiao would be together until the end. Each day would bring a happy memory in Xiao’s mind, not replacing his trauma, but helping him cope.
Eventually, you were able to get used to water. While you were still afraid of oceans and rivers, ponds didn’t bug you as much anymore. Even when you were afraid you would drown, Xiao made sure you knew you were safe.
Every day and night, the both of you faced your fears and pain together. Helping each other to cope and find comfort in each other. Xiao would hold you dearly in his heart until the day you would leave this world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🔹🔹🔹~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Dawn Winery. That’s where you first met him.
You were sitting down at a table, talking with Kaeya and Jean. You had decided to take the both of them out for a drink since you all had free time.
Being apart of the Knights of Favonius, you three barely got any chance to just relax. It seemed like everyday you were chasing around thieves and beating up slimes, hilichurls, mitachurls, ruin guards, you name it. So when the three of you found out you all had spare time, you decided the Dawn Winery would be a good place to relax.
“Oh my gods. You should’ve seen Kaeya when we were fighting three mitachurls. He kept freezing them because we were able to lure them into the water.” You said. Kaeya chuckled, “And then you kept cracking the ice with your electro attacks.”
Jean chuckled, “Well, you two do make a great team. Minus the fact that one of you,” She looks at Kaeya, “Sometimes sits back and watches the other.”
You and Kaeya both laughed.
Taking a sip of your dandelion wine did you hear the ring of the bell hanging above the door. Curious on who entered, you looked over.
There, stood a boy. He wore a green and tan cape that went down to the middle of his legs. A green little hat sat on the top of his head, and white stockings covered his legs. He seemed to wear a brown corset looking thing on his stomach. A brown and tan bow sat in the middle of where his collarbone was.
His blue and green eyes were so bright of color. And his hair was so dark a blue it bordered almost looking black. He had twin braids going down to his shoulders. The braids that framed his face faded to aqua colored tips.
You tilted your head, confused. You knew everyone who lived in Mondstadt and mostly everyone who visited the winery. So who was this new fellow? Perhaps he was a traveler?
“Hey, Jean, who’s that?” You gestured your head to the mysterious boy. Jean looked where you gestured, raising an eyebrow. “To be honest, I don’t know. He just appeared a few weeks ago. I saw him strumming a small harp. He was performing a little tale in trade for an apple.” She sipped her wine.
“So he’s some sort of bard?” Kaeya asked. Jean shrugged, “Must be.”
“Jean, you’re not the tiniest bit worried about what he’s doing here?” You asked.
She shook her head no, “Not really. When I approached him asking who he was, he called himself Venti. I asked what he was doing here and all he said was he didn’t remember. Poor boy must have memory loss or something.” She paused, “Besides, he wasn’t doing any harm and he didn’t run away when I went to talk to him. So I doubt he’s up to anything bad.”
Kaeya raised an eyebrow, “There are some people who act fine around us but actually end up doing something bad.” He stated.
You hummed, drinking the rest of your wine. “I’m gonna go talk to him.”
Getting up, you made your way to the mysterious bard. He was talking to Diluc, a happy smile on his face. “I’ll have a glass of danelion wine, please.” He placed down some mora.
Diluc picked the gold coins up, counting them. “You’re a few short.” He raised an eyebrow.
“I got it.” You interrupted, placing down some coins. “Keep the change.” You smiled.
Diluc grabbed the rest of the coins, “Thanks, mouse.”
You frowned, “I’m not short. And even if I am, that only makes me more flexible and quick.” You stuck your tongue out.
“Whatever you say.” He sarcastically rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face. He then went to go get a cup of dandelion wine.
“Thanks so much for helping me pay!” Venti said, smiling.
“Of course, no problem.” You smiled back. You immediately wanted to bombard the boy with questions. Why was he here? Who was he? How old was he? Did he have a family?
“I’m Venti, the bard.” He introduced himself.
“(Y/N), the Knights of Favonius.”
“A pleasure to meet you, (Y/N).”
Diluc came back, placing a glass of dandelion wine in front of the bard.
Venti took a sip of the wine before a happy smile made its way to his face. “Ahh that’s the stuff!” He giggled.
“So Venti,” You started, “Are you new around here? I’ve never seen you before.”
He hummed, “You could say that. To be honest, I can’t remember how I got here and what I’m doing. The last thing I knew, I woke up in a little forest. A small harp was near me, so I just assumed it was mine. I walked around for a bit before ending up in the city of Mondstadt. And from there, I’ve been telling tales and playing my harp in trade for money or food.”
You blinked, taking in the information just told. When you were about to say something, Venti spoke. “I often feel something is missing. Like I’ve forgotten something that’s a part of me. Something important.” He chuckled, shaking his head, “But I can’t remember what.”
You hummed in thought. The bard finished the rest of his drink, “I best get going now. Goodbye, (Y/N)! I hope to see you around!” He got off of the stool he was sitting on, heading for the door.
“Wait!” You called after him, quickly going over to him, “Do you want help getting your memories back?” You stared into his eyes.
He looked down at you, even though you were only an inch or two apart in height. “Wait really? Are you serious?”
You smiled, “Of course I’m serious!”
“How would you help me get my memories back?” He asked.
“Well, not to brag,” You slightly chuckled, “But I am a high member of the Knights of Favonius. Which means I have access to more things. Not to mention, if you get into a pickle, I can help dig you out.”
Venti smiled, “Alright then! We can start tomorrow!”
You nodded, waving to him goodbye as the two of you parted your ways.
-
You sighed, sitting down on the ground, “We’ve tried so much!”
Venti looked at you, sitting down next to you. He awkwardly chuckled, “Yeah, sorry I didn’t think it would be this difficult.”
“Let’s see,” You pulled out a small notepad, crossing off something on the list of piled things that could potentially trigger something in Venti’s mind. “We’ve tried reading the books in the library, even taking banned books and books from Lisa. We’ve tried eating all different sorts of food, going underwater, being surrounded by fire, freezing almost to death, using my electro attacks to trigger something, etc etc.”
He sighed, “Maybe we should just give up.” Though in reality, he didn’t want to give up. Even if he didn’t get his memories back, he just wanted to spend more time with you. The new memories he made he cherished as he was with you. He had realized he started to feel a certain way when you were around him. To him, when he saw how hard you were trying to help him, it made him so happy and his heart would always pick up a beat. He appreciated you so much. He loved his new memories with you, he loved how you wouldn’t quit when you set your mind to it, he loved how beautiful your electro attacks were. He soon came to realize, he loved you.
Your eyebrows furrowed, “No no,” you waved him off, “We’ll continue. I still have some things on my list.” You looked down at your notepad, flipping through the hundreds of ideas you had.
“Um. (Y/N)?”
“Shh not now Venti. I’m writing down more ideas.” You hushed him, concentrating on your notes.
“No, (Y/N) there-“
You interrupted him, “Venti I’m not accepting defeat.” You said, still not looking up.
“(Y/N) LOOK!” He yelled. Grabbing your head, tilting it up to look ahead. Your eyes widened, “What?? Ruin guards?? They’re not normally around here! Nor do they group up with each other!” You stood up, summoning your polearm. “Stay here. I’ll be right back.”
You ran towards the ruin guards, scanning the perimeter. There were three on the left, and two on the right. You quickly started chipping away at the ones on the right while dodging the ones on the left. Activating your electro attacks, you quickly spun, eyes glowing a beautiful purple. A circle of lightning striking around you multiple times.
Looking around, did you not see in time a ruin guard coming up behind you. It swung its arms around and around.
“(Y/N)! LOOK OUT!” Venti yelled. You turned around, eyes widening as multiple hits landed on your body.
You fell to the ground, covering your head, you cursed yourself for messing up. One attack after another, you were bombarded.
Venti’s head started to ache. he couldn’t help you. He couldn’t fight the ruin guards. Why couldn’t he? Why couldn’t he be any use? Why couldn’t he help you? Why did he not have powers?
Why?
Why?
Why?
All Venti could ask was why, causing his head to ache. He felt a sharp pain shoot through his body. Clutching his head, he squeezed his eyes shut. It felt as if his brain was being cut in half.
Trying to get the pain to stop. Something in the back of his mind started to pop and crack. He kept his eyes shut. Only did he open his eyes when he heard your yelp.
His pupils contracted smaller as he watched you get hit over and over again. The ruin guards spared no time for you to get up and recompose yourself. Even if you were able to get up, your weapon had been flung away from you. Unable to watch your suffering anymore, he ran to you.
He grit his teeth in frustration as he was too far away to reach you before another ruin guard hit you. Three of them were getting ready to fire.
You wiped your mouth and spat out a thick wad of blood. The ruin guards spinning their arms around and around, still hitting you. You got up, trying to get your polearm back. But before you could get to it, you were smacked back to the ground. Your eyes shut as all of a sudden, you couldn’t feel anything anymore. Your body went limp, as if you were a rag doll who was just carelessly thrown.
“(Y/N)!!!” Venti screamed. Finally, the popping and cracking in the back of his mind broke free. His eyes shut as his body started to glow. Beautiful white wings emerged from his back. Gold and white clothing adorned the top and bottom half of his body. The aqua tips of his hair glowed as patterns appeared on his body, they glowed brightly. He slowly opened his eyes, as the light around him started to fade.
“Ah…how long…have I been asleep…for?” He asked in a gentle voice. He looked down to the ground, his gentle face contorted into one of anger.
With one quick swing of his hand, he summoned multiple slashes of sharp anemo attacks, splitting the ruin guards in half and wiping them out with ease. He quickly landed on the ground and ran towards you.
Your figure was laying limp on the ground as your wounds spilled the crimson red liquid. Eyes shut, did you have a peaceful expression.
Venti gently placed his hands on your chest. He closed his eyes as he used his powers to heal you. He then picked you up before taking to the air. His wings carried him to Mondstadt where he would find a place for you to rest comfortably until you woke up.
Of course, everyone was shocked to see Lord Barbatos. But he ignored their pleads to receive a blessing from him. His main focus was making sure you were alright.
He landed in front of your little house, returning to his human persona. He carried you into your house and set you on your bed. He pulled a chair next to your bed and sat down. Every now and then, he would feel your forehead to make sure you weren’t overheating. If he felt you were too warm, he would quickly take the heavier blankets off you. And if he felt you were too cold, he would place the blankets back over you.
-
When you awoke, you saw Venti gently stroking your hand. You gasped in surprise, remembering what happened. You sat up quickly, “Venti I’m so sorry I can’t believe I lost against the ruin guards I’m trained to deal with them and yet I couldn’t which means I put your life in danger and now I’ll need more training for the Knights of Favonius I’m so sorry Venti,” You went on and on apologizing.
“Shhhh.” Venti quietly hushed you, he smiled, “It’s okay! I’m alright. Besides, you did it. You got my memories back.”
You looked at him, shocked, “Really? That’s amazing! How?”
“When you couldn’t get yourself up because of being bombarded by attacks one after another, I couldn’t stand to watch. But I couldn’t take my eyes off either. It only got worse as I saw your body go limp. I felt something pop and crack in my head. The more I watched the worse my head hurt. When I couldn’t take it anymore, my memories finally returned.” He said still smiling, “I’m Lord Barbatos. The Anemo God.”
You gasped, “Oh my goodness!” You slightly bowed your head, “It’s a pleasure to see you, Lord Barbatos.”
Venti scrunched up his nose, “Don’t ever call me that again.”
You blinked before looking up into his eyes, “Alright, Venti.” You smiled.
He seemed to get happier being called Venti. He carefully took your hand and put it on his cheek, absorbing the warmth from it.
“Hey, (Y/N)?” He said quietly.
You hummed, “Hmm?”
“I love you, (Y/N). Thank you for getting my memories back.”
“Should the day ever come that we are not together, you will continue to shine like gold, in my memories.”
He remembered when he said that to you. How it sounded as if it was a mere statement, nothing to be taken seriously. Of course he didn’t think much about it. Being an immortal being, he had seen the death of people he held dearly all too many times. After centuries of the repeated loss of someone, he grew accustomed to it. Death was a normal thing, as normal as the grass being green. He paid no mind to it.
Until he met you.
The Yanshang Teahouse is where he first saw you. You were looking at all the teas and the goodies they were selling.
The first thing he noticed was your calm and gentle smile. Your smile didn’t show excited happiness, nor did it show a painful sadness. Only a calming expression. The second thing he noticed was how you gently picked up boxes of tea leaves. Carefully examining every box, as if the box were going to break if you so much grabbed it too roughly. The last thing he noticed was how soft and gentle your voice was. When you spoke to the seller, you spoke with a softness and delicateness like a fragile sheep.
“Thank you for the tea leaves!” You said as you waved goodbye to the seller. You started your way back home. Not noticing the tall archon watching you.
-
Zhongli saw you often walking around Liyue, but he never approached you due his reserved nature.
As he was sitting preacefully, drinking his tea, he heard your gentle voice.
“Excuse me sir.”
He turned and looked at you, “Yes?”
He was surprised when you placed a flower in his hand. “Today is my birthday,” you smiled shyly, “And I’m giving out flowers to make people smile.”
He felt is heart thump against his chest. You were so gentle and kind, “Thank you.” He said.
You just nodded and smiled before going to turn around.
“How long have you lived in Liyue?” He suddenly asked.
You turned back to look at him, “Mmmmm, I moved here about nine months ago.” You go silent for a few seconds, trying to make sure you counted right.
“You’re fairly new then.” Zhongli said.
You nodded, “Mhmm. I try to get out more often but there are still parts of Liyue I haven’t been too. It’s a bit difficult to go out in a foreign place. Especially with hilichurls and slimes rampaging everywhere.”
“If you’d like, I can accompany you around Liyue. I know this place like the back of my hand and know the history of it.” He offered.
You thought for a few moments before smiling and nodding, “Why not?” You looked into his eyes for a few seconds before extending a hand. “(Y/N).”
He took your hand and gently shook it, “Zhongli.”
And that’s how you two ended up becoming very close to each other.
It started out as him acting like a tour guide. And then evolved into going on a few short walks with him. Before finally hanging out with him almost everyday.
You had caught on that Zhongli must’ve been something different from a mortal human. From a few things he’s said, and the fact that he knows so much of everything.
“You’re not a human, are you?” You suddenly said as you sat down on the cliff with him. Admiring the view together.
“So you’ve caught on,” He says without looking at you, “I am indeed not a human. I’ve seen and lived through many millenniums.” He turned his head, looking straight into your gentle and soft eyes. He was surprised when you saw a wave of sadness overcome you.
“You must’ve seen so many people who you loved pass away.” You say.
He nods, “I have. Though death no longer affects me. I’ve seen many people close to me pass. It’s nothing more.”
You told your head, eyebrows furrowed, “Would you feel that way if I passed?”
Zhongli’s eyes widened. A sorrowful feeling slowly filled his chest. He took a deep breath in before letting it out. “Should the day ever come that we are not together, you will continue to shine like gold, in my memories.”
You put your hands over your mouth, trying to hide your smile. “I would say the same to you,” you chuckle, “But you’re immortal.”
He let out a small chuckle, “I thank you anyways.”
If only he knew, you would pass only a week later.
-
You were out in the woods wandering about when you heard screams. Your ears perked up as you took in the screams sounded like they were coming from children. Quickly, you followed the sounds before stopping and seeing a mitachurl. It was swinging its axe around and around, trying to hit the children while hilichurls were trying to create a circle around them.
You tried thinking of a plan, something that would protect both you and the children. When no idea came to mind, you revealed yourself. Calling out to the mitachurl and hilichurls.
“Hey! Bet you can’t keep up with me! Stupid overgrown ram lookin ass creatures!” You stuck your tongue out.
This instantly pissed off the hilichurls and mitachurl. They quickly averted all their attention and energy onto you. And when you started to run, they followed.
The kids started sprinting their way back to Liyue. As soon as they reached the town, they started screaming for help.
Their pleas caught many peoples attention, but specifically a certain archon’s.
Zhongli quickly walked up to the children, “Who and where is this person.” He wasn’t asking them, he was demanding them to tell him.
“They had (H/L) with (H/C)!” A child said.
“They looked to be (Height)!” Another said.
And by those three descriptions, Zhongli knew damn well it was you.
He quickly rushed out of the villlage, running at an incredible speed. When he reached the woods where the kids said you were, he looked around. You were nowhere to be seen.
His mind began to panic. What happened to you? Did the mitachurl capture you? Did they kill you? He kept looking around until he heard the crunching of tree leaves and the sound of panting. He quickly turned his head and saw you. His heart stopped as he saw how injured you were.
There was a deep slice mark that went horizontally across your stomach. You had bruises all over your body from head to toe. Blood was pouring from the mark on your stomach and a wound from your head. Not far behind you were the mitachurl and hilichurls. You looked behind to see them still pursuing you. You tried to start running again, but five steps later your body gave out and collapsed onto the ground. Your eyes slowly shut as your brain lost consciousness, sending you into a sleep you would never wake from.
Zhongli ran towards you. He almost made it to you before the swinging of an axe made its way towards him. He quickly and smoothly dodged it.
Enraged, the geo archon quickly took care of the mitachurl and hilichurls before making his way back to you.
He sat on the ground and cradled you. Brushing a few strands of hair out of your face, he spoke, “(Y/N), you’re safe now. You’re going to be alright.” But he knew you weren’t.
Just from looking at your wounds, he knew you wouldn’t make it. Even if he got back to Liyue, you would be gone by then. He didn’t think he could get there fast enough because the shaking of his body and the fear in him made his legs feel like jelly.
“(Y/N), can you hear me?” He softly asked. He got no response.
“Remember when we would drink tea and watch performances together?” He smiles sadly. “How you always seemed to enjoy them, even if others thought they were boring?” He bites his bottom lip, trying not to let out a few sobs. “Or when I taught you origami and you never seemed to be able to get the folding right?”
Tears started forming in his eyes. They fell down as his voice cracked from telling you all the things you did together.
“Or even when we went out to pick apples and you tossed one down and ended up hitting my head?” A sad chuckle came from him at the silly little memory.
He held you closer, feeling the warmth of your skin slowly start to fade and cool away. He wished he could hear your voice one last time. Even if it would be you saying goodbye, he wanted to hear your gentle and loving voice again.
Hiccups and sobs quietly escaped from him. Never did he think he would hurt so much over the death of a mere mortal.
He chuckled sadly, laughing at how happy memories could turn so painful in just an instant.
Even so, all the wonderful memories you made with him would forever stay in his mind and continue to shine like gold.
Some things to know about me:
I love drawing as I seem to be drawing every free minute I have haha.
I write oneshots and headcannons! My goal on this blog is to try and be inclusive to everyone as possible. That being said, there will be a chance some things will be more adult themed. Oneshots and headcannons that are more adult themed will have a warning explaining it.
I absolutely adore the horror genre. I love horror books, movies, art, you name it! One of my favorite horror artist is a Japanese man named Junji Ito. I love his books and his art style. I also love the Resident Evil game series as I think it’s so much fun!
I am a caffeine addict haha. I really like things that have caffeine in them. I love coffee, soda, Red Bull, etc etc.
Here’s a list of things you will possibly see on my account:
Oneshots/Fanfictions/Headcannons
Art
Jewelry
Other random stuff that will pop up
Things that are NOT allowed:
Racism. Every race is beautiful and I will NOT allow any racism on this account.
Homophobia/transphobia. Every human, doesn’t matter gender, race, or sexuality is valid and beautiful.
Bullying. Please never ever bully me or ANYONE. Bullying is very serious and has very serious consequences on both parties.
Discrimination of ANY kind. This includes race, LGBTQ+, religion, etc etc. Everyone has their own beliefs and opinions. All of it is VALID.
Politics. Please, DO NOT bring politics onto the table. I will respect your opinion, but please, keep it to yourself and try to leave me and other people out of it.
As long as you respect others, including myself, we will all get along. :)
EDIT: Rules for requesting headcannons/oneshots are in the making!
