I think… sometimes we just have to give ourselves time to mourn.

Mourn the person you were before

Mourn the friendships you lost

Mourn the family you left behind

Mourn the expectations you had

Give yourself the freedom to let go.

Some days I wish I had a loving family,

One who would share my happiest moments with me, and make the memories that I could miss. Some days I even make the memories up just so I can have something to leave behind, other than people whose faces I memorized.

I will take you to the rooftops to watch the sunset, and to the ocean to watch the sun rise, I´ll take you to the most beautiful and forgotten places.

I´ll take you to parks in golden hour, just to compliment the way the sunlight hits your skin. I´ll take you to museums, and monuments, and look at you the same way you look at the masterpieces; and I´ll kiss you. I´ll kiss you in every single beautiful place, I´ll kiss you under the moonlight and under the pouring rain. That way, you will always have a little piece of me in every beautiful spot. You´ll have me in every ray of sunshine and in every single thunderstorm, and I will never be entirely gone, that’s my promise to you. To always be there with you, wherever you are.
