Are they goats or are they sheep? Geep? Shoats? 🤔
I was aiming for goats, but the most important thing is that they turned out cute.

Benito fanart!! (It's not a cigarette it's a lollipop in his mouth)
Still wish for the more badass reboot of ben 10 for teens and young adults, slightly more mature and modern, and with sick animation

Whats your stance on Jason and his relations to drugs? Ive seen many people head cannon Jason as a chain-smoker,which is odd since ive never seen him smoke after he came back,at best he was smoking as a child do to influence/environment he was raised in. Ive also thought that his mother's addiction would probably make him stay away from any potential addictions. But then again he did become a drug lord so idk if that contradicts itself.:/
Tumblr media
When Batman met Jason, he was smoking…something. (I think people have assumed it was marijuana but idk man.) We can chalk that up to his environment.
Tumblr media
When Jason was Robin, if we accept the Gotham Knights issues as retroactive canon, he smoked cigarettes when Bruce wasn’t around to catch him (but I’m sure Bruce knew, and I’m sure Jason knew that Bruce knew). In this case, Jason was in a more positive environment, but he still chose to smoke.
I think it’s completely impractical for Jason to chain-smoke as a vigilante who needs to operate at peak performance if he wants to survive the night. If nothing else, smoking impairs one’s lung capacity. Jason as an adult has no reason to smoke, except if people think it’s cool and edgy for him to do so.
Tumblr media
In terms of his mother, Jason told Batman that she got “sick.” It was probably in part to protect her from anyone else’s judgment, and in part his own denial. I’m sure he sees a bit of her in a lot of the people with drug addictions whom he comes across.
Tumblr media
Ironically, when Jason did become a drug lord, he specifically killed anyone who sold drugs to kids.
Tumblr media
As Red Hood, Jason views drug trafficking as inevitable because Gotham is evil. At best, he can try to control it–such as, prohibiting his dealers from selling to kids–or, fight her where she lives. Jason thinks that he has a deeper understanding of Gotham that will “bring her peace.” His participation in this “industry” is his ill-advised attempt to make things better. It’s best to have one hand on the wheel than to just let someone else take it, even if you really don’t want to be driving that car. Or so he thinks. (He doesn’t actually know best, contrary to his belief.)
Something to keep in mind is that Jason failed to save–and bring peace to–many people from his childhood. His mother (overdose), Gloria (suicide), and Sheila (blown up), for starters. In all those situations, he was helpless and had little control over the situation. As he comes into his identity as Red Hood, these failures are fresh on his mind. I think it prompted him to take a different approach and adopt a harsher mindset.
You could say that Jason shouldn’t have even touched drugs, after what happened to his mother–but that is, in a sense, relinquishing control to Gotham. He’d much rather take control, even if it gets his hands dirty.
You can’t save everyone, no matter how hard you try, no matter how much you love them.
What Jason can do is blow up anybody who sells drugs to kids. It’s delusional for him to think that would actually work–he’s only creating power vacuums–but it’s a delusion he needs to cling to.
