Popular Interior Design Styles: Scandinavian

Scandinavian interiors are less about luxury and more utility. Because Scandinavian countries face cold winters, the design style originating from such countries have an element of warmth. Greenery and natural light play a huge part in Scandi style, adding to the cozy feeling one feels when entering a room designed this way. Other common elements include wooden floors and a neutral color palette, both of which contribute to a clean, minimalistic look. But this doesn’t mean bold choices in decor pieces are to be avoided, as one or two pops of color can help to accentuate the calmness of Scandinavian interiors.
