making your own stuff is so important, like I never hear enough about how making everything with your own hands is sacred time spent with yourself. that’s mostly being taken away from us through having all we need being sold at stores, the relationship to craft humans have had for millennia’s is gone. so it’s all about rebuilding that close relationship with the things that keep us alive and feeling good about ourselves! It’s something I could talk about forever

As of 12/8/21, Kellogg's has broken off negotiations with their striking union workers and is electing to permanently replace the strikers. So needless to say, don't support strike breaking: don't buy Kellogg's products. Besides breakfast cereals, Kellogg's makes Cheez-Its, Pringles, and owns Kashi. I'm sure there's more that I'm not aware of, so if the hive mind wants to add to the list, please do.
TL;DR Don't buy Kellogg's products

We definitely need to tax the rich to hell and back while capitalism is still a thing, so we don't begrudge everyday people who use this slogan. But in the grand scheme of things, we really gotta be thinking bigger. Individuals shouldn't be able to get Rich in the first place, especially when it's off the backs of the working class both domestic and abroad. Even welfare capitalism/social democracy is bound up with imperialism and exploitation, and so we need to go further.

the distortion of "there is potential profit we did not earn" as "there is money we lost" is fascinating and disgusting to me. "megamediaconglomerate lost $1,000,000,000 to piracy this year" is a flat out lie. it is not true. they did not have a billion dollars, that they now do not have. they felt entitled to one billion dollars, that they did not have, and still do not have. it's an infuriating perversion of the truth
