💋 How affectionate are they with their friends? Their family? Their romantic partner(s) (if they have any)? Are they more physical or emotional when it comes to displaying their affection? Why? vyrayassa is........... not a very affectionate person by nature. she's very proud and stoic, and isn't likely to either comment on you or touch you. she will scoop up or shove her party members to get them out of danger tho, that's about the extent of contact that her casual acquaintances will get. vyra has no family to speak of and was raised by monks, which is maybe part of why she is Like This. okay yeah it's why she's like this. friends of hers will get some small, heartfelt reassurances, and maybe a firm hand on the shoulder. there's a large gap between those she considers her allies and those she considers her friends- people that have earned vyra's loyalty will have had to Prove It. as for romantic partners. mantra is pretty much the only one she'll ever have which is okay with her, but she is a bit hesitant with touch and affection at first. she leans more into it as she finds out what mantra likes. by the time tazjhan exists, she's better at casual touch. 🔥 Give us a list of general likes and dislikes, such as colours, textures, music, weather and other stuff! vyrayassa likes the quiet. she found a lot of solace in her old monastery home, and can sometimes grasp it again in churches and gardens. she's not very social and doesn't like strangers, but if you can get her with only a few people, she's a very engaged conversational partner. vyra doesn't make a lot of time for hobbies because she feels like she's on a Mission and can't waste time, but she enjoys horticulture and can be found in libraries in whatever off time she gives herself. she likes to dress sharply, usually wearing pressed linen. she favors rich, dark blue and red when she chooses to accent her attire. walks through the woods on sunny days are not lost on her, taking in the ambiance. snowy clear days remind her of home. ⭐ What is your OC afraid of? Why? i'm not sure if this counts but. there's an anxiety that vyra keeps Very hidden, a sword hanging over her head since her magic first manifested. she feels an obligation to save the world that she fears she cannot measure up to. it's part of what destroys her when she finds out the truth of her magic's source- betrayed by her own bloodline. otherwise, in more mundane situations she tries not to show any fear at all, preferring to grit her teeth and bear it. she's the type to clutch her staff tight and then try to walk it off later. vyra's charisma points Do go toward intimidation as she is a very tall and dour dragon lady with piercing green and gold eyes so like. yes people do fear her. 🥝 What does a bad mental health day look like for your OC? Walk us through it with them. What kind of things can help them out of this slump and what kinds of things comfort them when they start to feel like this? i ask vyra about this question and she goes I Don't Have Bad Days Ever. and i am like ma'am,, okay the thing is that vyra keeps herself to routines and won't compromise on them even if she's feeling shitty. so like a bad day for her doesn't look any different except she doesn't smile. maybe she will read a book before bed. that's it. vyra please i am begging you 💧 What is the earliest memory your OC can recall? Do they know what their first words were or remember where they took their first steps? Do they have any mementos of their childhood they’ve kept such as a stuffed toy or tiny baby clothes? i think.... her first memory might be of snow in the monastery courtyard, watching it fall in gentle drifts when all was quiet, sitting next to one of the monks. she was taught stillness when she was very young, and has always been devoted. she has kept no mementos of childhood specifically, but her holy symbol was passed down from the monks specifically and she treasures it. 🔮 Star gazing or cloud watching? Why? mantra is Very flirty as a coping mechanism so yes she's very affectionate! it's fun and hilarious for her to get up in people's personal space and give flirty compliments, but if it's someone she Actually cares for like a friend or crush, there are a lot more casual touches. verbal affection is very performative for her so that will kind of go away as she gets closer to someone. she's never rly had a family that she cared for or that cared for her so uhh. yeah. difficult to apply that to her. if she lets you touch her face or hair, you are So fucking lucky because her shitty adoptive mom was like that and it means that she is letting you touch something Very vulnerable of her. she might let her birth parents touch it eventually, after she meets them and warms up to them. i rly do just gotta think on how her and her birth family's relationship develops after her little brother drags her back to them 🔥 Give us a list of general likes and dislikes, such as colours, textures, music, weather and other stuff! mantra is a bard so she really likes music, poetry, and folklore!! she's versed in more instruments than you can count and she's always picking up new music and stories. she's also good at card games but that's because she cheats at them. she likes the feel of lacquered wood and worked leather, not anything that's overly soft and plush. after she and vyra have their daughter, she's the QUEEN of bedtime stories. in terms of colors, she usually sticks to beige, brown, and white with gold accessories in terms of clothes so her skin, hair, and eyes pop >:3cc. brown is her favorite color for No reason. no reason at all. mantra just kinda has jack of all trades energies tbh sdhfskd ⭐ What is your OC afraid of? Why? there are not a lot of things that scare mantra. the one thing that gets to her is her "mother" and her "family." when she's up against a regular old tough foe while out adventuring, she gets cocky and overly positive, and copes afterward through social interaction. this flips when she's up against faena and her cronies. mantra closes up into herself, stops expressing, goes rigid, gets slow to respond. afterward she'll go find somewhere to be alone and not show up again until the next day. in terms of mantra scaring others, people often find her intimidating due to the whole tiefling thing and her eyes being a solid gold with no discernible pupils. she tries to downplay this through being boisterous, friendly, and flirty while she is doing her Bard Thing. she does give off a fucky aura while she's fighting, and while she was with the "family" it earned her the name "ararissa of the long gaze." 🥝 What does a bad mental health day look like for your OC? Walk us through it with them. What kind of things can help them out of this slump and what kinds of things comfort them when they start to feel like this? she gets shut down and drained on a bad day. contact with faena will do this to her, as well as a string of rejections or bad performances. she'll likely want to go somewhere new, either to a new part of the city or a new town. she may attend a performance for a change or do some light exploring. not gonna do anything performative that requires charisma today. if she's with a party she trusts, she might just accompany them on whatever they're doing. her presence is significantly reduced, and though she'll keep somewhat active, she won't talk a lot. if one of the party members is willing to offer physical comfort she'll take that, but otherwise she'll eat dinner and go to bed early. hit that good good reset button that sleep is. 💧 What is the earliest memory your OC can recall? hmmmmmm you like funny octopus so i think i will talk about all the variations on my superverse character tentacular!!! superverse is just fun to do aus with so it Keeps Happening. as of right now there are five distinct tentas that i’m keeping track of. (man it would be funny if i had like. eight tho. it will come in time i’m sure.) the first is tenta classic who exists in mainline superverse!! simply just a fun vigilante hero vibing outside the law and trying to do the most good they possibly can. their core ideals have to do with like, freedom and passion, and this forms the foundation of the differences in the other tentas. like, how each of them relate to that moral base. tenta wears their heart on their sleeve- it’s not hard to see how much they care and want to help others. the second is ghost au tenta, who is like. tenta but Burned. they still really care about these ideals and act on them but. the fact that the person they were close to is dead and tenta killed their murderer afterward has kinda fucked with their mental health. so they’re taking a little break from heroing. the good news is that they’ve made a new spectral friend who’s helping them get through it! the third and fourth tentas are closely tied, because they exist in the same au! also the fourth tenta technically isn’t a tenta. these two are octopunch and inkalamity from the villain au of superverse!! octopunch kinda ends up taking lightshow’s place in the hero guild after he defects and becomes the villain skyrocket. octopunch has so so much pressure on them. they’d like to be as free and open as mainline tenta is, but they have the responsibility of being a guild hero on them and being in the public eye and all of that oooooghhh. basically octopunch is tenta, muted. inkalamity by comparison,, really just exists in contrast to octopunch? like they’re Defining themself in the negative space of octopunch because,, they’re a clone of octopunch created by the villains. inka is angry and snarling where octo is restrained and smiling, imperfect where octo is a shining example of heroism. unfortunately inka is also just as trapped in their villain role, and has rejected tenta’s ideals entirely because they think they have to. sighs. the final tenta, and the most recent, is wrecking ball from the dramatized au of superverse!! basically all of the characters are up to 11 and it fucks hard. tenta’s ideals are the thing that get cranked up in their personality, to the point of being almost like. anarchist. they do kill cops which we love for them!!! this does get them branded as a villain tho. they think they’re a hero so this makes them sad. eventually they join a “villain” organization, the diamond dogs, who are trying to point out flaws in the hero/villain system and they have an absolutely lovely time in there. at this point wrecking ball is the happiest au tenta kdhfdsjf. woops this got SUPER long!! haha jokes of superheroes

the plumeria my angel................. for context they are a character in my funny oc askblog although they have not shown up yet which is why i have not let anyone have their name ! despite this fact i cannot shut up about them. oo babey i am so excited for their character arc i am just holding them so gently...... their color is yellow and i think that is important to their personality. they are made of sunshine and they feel feelings and they have done nothing wrong ever. going through their aesthetic tag on the blog might bring up some things but do not worry about that. (dskfjdsjf yknow looking at everything i keep posting abt them i feel like i’ve given away everything about them? and i have to remind myself that i actually do have fun funky tricks up my sleeve and not everything is obvious to people who aren’t me.) uhhhhh other things about them! it is very hard to come up with “favorite” things for them because they’re genuinely just. so excited about everything that it’s hard to pick. when you’re with them you feel like you’re the only person in the world because like. all their focus is on the moment they’re in and the people they’re with. (at least, they’re trying to keep it that way.) also they like wearing big sweaters with leggings under them. i should go draw them in that dskjfhsdk god they’re cute. my sweetheart my gentle teen.
