Gaze passed the daze of the days into the maze of the mind. Our eyes are filled with craters left behind from the impacts in our lives by the hands of time.

Sparma is like a christ/antichrist symbol that the main characters could nail to a cross for their sins, hence the long hair and beard and him literally dying for their sins. I don't think sparma killed anyone because he knew there was no evidence against him... he's just fucked up because he's obsessed with crime. Both Jimmy and deke are killers because of what they did but are not The killer. It doesn't make sense that Deke was a great detective and all of the sudden began murdering women. I dont think the movie is that type of movie but it also wants you to believe whatever you want at the end so that you too can project your beliefs on one of the characters. Deke just feels like the serial killer because when you're around crime long enough the line between cop and convict starts to blur. There are no angels because no one is innocent at the end of the movie. The suspect is still at large and I don't believe it was about who did it but more of what happens to the people emotionally when they are obsessed with who did it, both the detectives and the obsessed sparma which is why sparma said they are much alike. I believe the filmmakers didn't want to make another who done it type movie but play with the audience in knowing that we the viewer also perceive ourselves as detectives so that in the end of the film we too like the detectives in the film end up projecting our beliefs about who we think the killer was even though we don't have all the evidence sense we just saw what the filmmakers wanted us to see. Its a great original twist to a genre we've all seen before.
