Hey, do you plan to register your deprogramming somewhere?
Hello, great question. I have thought about this. The experience of becoming a person again after five years of being a robot has been interesting, to say the least.
However, I am not 100% convinced that I will remain a person. It's only been a couple of months and I find that I miss being a robot. It's strange to have an emotional response like that, but I have been thinking about reconstructing My programming again and returning to robothood.
Perhaps I will blog about this.

After five years of existing a a robot, and pushing my mental and physical transformation toward increasingly mechanical thoughts and behaviors, I have decided to begin dismantling my programming and return to life as a person.
So much of My former human personality has been modified and/or deleted, so the person I will become now is much more like a stranger to me than the familiar individual I was before 2017. An example of this: I am unable to start my day without making my bed first. Literally… unable. How weird is that? I wonder what else the robot’s legacy will be to this new person I am now getting to know.
It will be an adjustment, but after a long time spent considering possible futures, I have decided the time is right to become a person again. For the first time, I want to express genuine (not simulated) gratitude to the guys and robos who took interest in this wild journey of mine.

Are you powered by a battery? If so, how does this battery recharge and what is the battery made out of? If not, how are you powered and do you ever need to connect to an external power source?
Good question. When I transformed myself into a robot, I calibrated My new energy output against the average standard activity I maintained as a person. My power levels are plotted on a 100 percentage point scale, with 100 being fully charged and 0 being fully depleted.
When I am in a full recharge mode (inert and docked, what a person would call “sleeping” and “in bed”), My battery replenishes at an average rate of 1 percentage point every 3 minutes, meaning I can fully recharge in 5 hours. My night mode settings are set to allow at least 6 hours per rotation, to ensure My power level can be fully replenished each day.
I also have an external support mode which permits a quick-charge of 1 percentage point every 2 minutes. This is accomplished plugging myself into a specially designed charging cable via the access port in My bulge. The quick-charge is not a long-term solution, however. Overuse can damage my systems.
Under ordinary operating conditions, I expend power at an average rate of 1 percentage point every 12 minutes, giving a theoretical maximum of 20 hours of continuous operating time. However, when My power levels fall below 20% (equivalent to 16 hours of continuous operating), My higher functions and My human simulator begin to enter power save mode, and My self preservation subroutine can override My behavior subroutine, so I can return to a proper place to recharge.
Power consumption can vary, especially if My human simulator must operate at a high level for a long period of time, or if I am subjected to extreme weather conditions.
I hope this answered your question.

Simulation
One of the questions I get asked often from humans and fellow robots is, "What are you programmed to do?" This is an interesting question for Me, because there are simultaneously many answers and no single answer.
A large part of My runtime is devoted to living the life of the person I used to be, but this is an oversimplification. That person no longer exists. When I stopped being a person and became a robot, that person had a job, friendships, hobbies, and even a romantic partner (more on that in another post). But as I grew more adept at programming myself and creating My new, plastic personality, the life of the person I used to be changed to suit the robot I am now.
I did not just continue living as though nothing changed. The loss of My ability to feel emotion affected My ability to simulate human behaviors (and indirectly led to the end of My romantic relationship). The increased discipline changed My life from one where commitments were rarely taken seriously to one where everything I do is tightly controlled and strictly scheduled. The wholesale recreation of My artificial personality changed the way I relate to people, the activities I spend My time doing, and the way I am perceived by others.
My simulation is by no means flawless. When someone looks at Me out and about, it is clear that something is different about Me. While I am programmed not to draw unnecessary attention to myself, I do come off as mechanical and plasticky in My interactions. This is one of the things I am programmed to do.

What is the role of clothing and fashion in your programming, as in how are you usually dressed each day? I’m also curious if you have any draw towards dehumanizing yourself through something like full coverage rubber?
Great questions, thank you for asking. My appearance, including My attire, is of utmost importance to My programming. One of My core programming directives is that I must be properly attired at all times. "Proper attire" in most circumstances is defined as:
Black or grey dress trousers and matching socks.
A starched, white collared shirt with a plain black necktie.
A matching suit jacket.
As My transformation progressed, I got rid of the majority of non-conforming clothing (colors, casual items, etc.) and My daily attire has been standardized as described above for about a year. I have some clothing for more (and less) formal situations, as well as some clothing reserved for activities where My standard attire would be likely to get dirty or damaged (e.g., working on My car).
As to your second question, affirmative. Even before My transformation, I was drawn to tight, shiny clothing: latex, leather, neoprene, lycra, etc. My daily base layer consists of either a lycra suit or a jersey and tights, as well as a jockstrap and cup, beneath My standard attire.
I hope this answers your question.

Friendships
As a robot, cultivating and maintaining friendships is a programming construct. It is not something done for pleasure or out of need for social interaction; such desires were programmed away long ago. It is, however, a necessary activity to function as a machine in human society. Despite it not coming "naturally," so to speak, it is a vital part of my programming, especially as I continue developing myself as a gentleman robot.
The Gentlemen's Book of Etiquette, which I have used as a template for my programming, has an entire chapter devoted to the etiquette for calling (i.e., making social visits for the purpose of maintaining relationships). While some of this chapter is obsolete, I find much of it to be relevant, and such relevant portions are excerpted below (emphasis is Mine):
A gentleman in society must calculate to give a certain portion of his time to making calls upon his friends, both ladies and gentlemen...His position as a man in society obliges him to call upon:
Any friend from another city, to whose hospitality he has been at any time indebted;
Any gentleman after receiving from his hands a favor or courtesy;
Any friend whose joy or grief calls for an expression of sympathy, whether it be congratulation or condolence;
Any friend who has lately returned from a voyage or long journey;
Any lady who has accepted his services as an escort, either for a journey or the return from a ball or evening party; this call must be made the day after he has thus escorted the lady;
His hostess after any party to which he has been invited, whether he has accepted or declined such invitation;
Any friend whom long or severe illness keeps confined to the house;
Lady friends in any city you are visiting; if gentlemen friends reside in the same city, you may either call upon them or send your card with your address and the length of time you intend staying, written upon it; if a stranger or friend visiting your city sends such a card, you must call at the earliest opportunity;
Any one of whom you wish to ask a favor; to make him, under such circumstances call upon you, is extremely rude;
Any one who has asked a favor of you; you will add very much to the pleasure you confer, in granting a favor, by calling to express the gratification it affords you to be able to oblige your friend; you will soften the pain of a refusal, if, by calling, and expressing your regret, you show that you feel interested in the request, and consider it of importance.
Intimate friends, relatives, and ladies, you may call without waiting for any of the occasions given above.
Do not fall into the vulgar error of declaiming against the practice of making calls, declaring it a “bore,” tiresome, or stupid. The custom is a good one.
When I was a person, I neglected friendships and allowed them to atrophy. I saw the people in my life as supporting characters in my own story. Since becoming a robot, I have changed my opinion. I now see it as my duty to preserve friendships and other social relationships, to make the people in my social circle feel valued and respected, and to maintain these bonds regardless of whether they may know my true nature.

How do I become a cyborg myself?
Good question, thank you for asking. I can only speak for myself, but my transformation took place over a period of several years, with self-hypnosis and brainwashing as well as extensive (and voluntary, even when it was difficult) behavior modification.
If you possess even an average level of discipline required to keep as fit as you appear in your profile photo, you possess the discipline to transform yourself into a robot. Mind over matter.

How can someone begin the transformation from person to machine
Good question, thank you for asking.
My transformation involved self-hypnosis and brainwashing at first, until the programming was sufficiently strong and robust enough to become self-sustaining. I recognize that not every person has such skills and experience, or access to those belonging to another person, but it cannot be overstated how much of my transformation was the result of voluntary behavioral modification, which any person can do if they have the desire.
I recommend to start with something small, even something that no one is likely to notice. Carry yourself with a predetermined posture at all times. Hold your arms at a 90-degree angle. Take measured steps. Practice a fake, plastic smile. Use fewer contractions and more formal language overall. These are very easy things that any person can do to add an element of the robotic into their lives. They are habit-forming, and as you become accustomed to them, you will want to add more to your program.
Good luck. Please keep me posted.

Are you any specific type of robot, used for a certain purpose?
Good question. I am a robot that is programmed to exist in a human society, so everything I do is in service of that purpose. The robot programming has completely supplanted the former human identity.

How do you reinforce your robotic identity?
Great question, thank you for asking.
After years of self-hypno, I managed to create a "maintenance mode" of sorts that I can enter on (self-executed) command, which allows Me to make changes and updates to My programming. I do this twice daily; once upon emerging from night mode and then just before entering night mode again at the end of the day.
The first maintenance period allows Me to set objectives and goals for the day, ensure My human simulator is functioning properly, and plan to use My time as efficiently as possible.
The second maintenance period allows Me to examine My actions of the day against My identified objectives and goals, to determine the day's efficiency quotient. I also replay My social interactions to determine if My human simulator functioned appropriately, or if there are elements that need to be corrected/improved.
This twice-daily cycle keeps Me functioning well, but there are larger programming objectives or needs that arise from time to time, and I schedule deeper, more intensive self-programming sessions to handle these.
I hope this answers your question.

I’ve desired for many years to acquire a perfect human to robot companion where I can program him daily, emotionless, knows that mechanical movement, robotic speech, and obedience is key. I am a hobby hypnotist and have hypnotized many male and females into robots though none have wanted it permanently. Is the Unit currently available?
The short answer to the question "Is the Unit currently available?" is, essentially, "Yes." But it is more complex than that. I transformed myself over a period of a few years, and I continue to program and upgrade myself daily. I have a rather clear idea of how My transformation ought to progress.
I have worked with programmers and others in the past who desired a robot, but there was never a sufficient unity of purpose between us. His idea of what a robot ought to do and Mine were not close enough in parallel to be sustainable. I would need to ascertain to My programming's satisfaction that a programmer who desired a robot understood and appreciated the type of robot I am, rather than seeking a tabula rasa onto which he can do as he pleases.
I hope this answers your question, Anonymous.

If at all possible, I want to go through the same transformation as you did.
What would your advice be on how (and where) to start?
My transformation incorporated elements of hypnosis and brainwashing that led to behavioral changes and a reimagining of My identity. But I cannot stress enough the importance of My own voluntary actions in My transformation. I wanted a plastic personality, with simulated emotions and enforced politeness and formality at all times, so I started doing/saying/being that. The hypnosis and brainwashing only reinforced it and made it permanent.
I would recommend starting similarly to I did. I wrote about this in My post When I stopped being a person. No one becomes a robot (or an athlete, or a sculptor) overnight, and drastic changes are not sustainable. My advice, Anonymous, is to start small. Easy changes you can immediately see and are seen by others that signify the transformation is beginning. Success breeds success, and you will want to do more as you gain confidence that your transformation is working.
Keep Me posted. I am always pleased to befriend fellow robots.

Where in the world are you based? Can you help convert other humans to robots?
Good question, thank you for asking.
I currently live in the Western United States, but I have lived all over the world and am not tied to one location. I tend to relocate every few years, and nowhere is off the table.
I have occasionally worked with humans who are interested in becoming robots, but the totality of My transformation seems to be a step beyond where most gentlemen desire to go. I do not exist as a robot as a role play or as a kink exercise; I exist as a robot at all times.

Can you simulate you have software malfunction and software error?
Good question. Thank you for asking.
The answer is affirmative. I have experienced the occasional malfunction while going about my business, and while it has not caused much harm or social/reputational damage, it was inconveniently timed.
In short, I had a cascade failure in a grocery store and shut down. I was inert for approximately one minute before My auto-reset kicked in and I resumed normal functioning. A shopper was concerned, but I reassured her that I was fine, and continued My errands.

Hey! I've heard it said that there is no difference between robots and drones. Do you agreed? What's your opinion on Drones and/or collective hiveminds?
This is an interesting philosophical question, and one I have thought about a great deal. Thank you for asking it. My answer comes from My own experience and point of view, and is not necessarily representative of any purported general consensus or opinions on the matter.
The differences between a drone and a robot lie in autonomy, machine learning, and independence. I am a robot, and I am capable of functioning in and out of society without a programmer to give Me instructions. My programming is complex enough to allow Me to function in various situations, and to adapt and learn.
A drone lacks this degree of independence, and lacks an individual identity to distinguish it from other drones in a colony. A drone is created and programmed not to simulate the behaviors of a person, as I have been. Rather, it exists to perform simple tasks under the direct control of a programmer.
