spring break ended yesterday so now i'm trying to get back into being productive since i did absolutely nothing for a whole week.

Hello. I’m drowning in reflections to write up but exciting news!!!! I got offered a hospice job last week! I’m now a lead pharmacist for palliative care. What an absolutely exciting amazing moment in my life. Not at all where I thought my career would go but I absolutely cannot wait!

42 days until finals

Today I:

Went to school

Got 68% on one Polish test and 75% from another one

Studied chemistry

Went on a walk

Actually took all my meds today

Did a few lessons on Duolingo + 3 three in Spanish because I'm bored

Chilled and now I'm going to sleep

one thing that so many students forget is that, a win is a win. if you planned on doing english homework but instead you finished your history essay, celebrate that, don’t be upset taht you didn’t sick to your plan, at least you got SOMETHING DONE. a win is a fucking win and don’t let anyone tell you different.

thursday | march 23

the new term is off to a great start! i had a very restful spring break and wrapped it up by attending my first academic conference, which was amazing.

last week i found out i was accepted to one of the research programs i applied for and i can't wait to be back in a lab this summer.

Long time no see but it’s a month until my deadline and four days until my interview and I’m so tired that I’ve had to move to my local coffee shop just to make myself study because I can’t function at home. 💙 23.11.2023 // I worked on my paper analysis on the morning then I did some groceries during the afternoon and I started again learning japanese. I'm only learning the basis but it feels great :))

🌿 06.02.2024 // it was a rough day, I'm glad it's finished. I took the time to review a bit my medchem lessons but that was all for today ahah

🌿 12.02.2024 // I keep my parents' home during one week while they travel (it's supposed to be holidays but not for me :/), so I have one cat, one dog and two guinea pigs to take care of ahah

Anyway, I went to my 2 lectures this morning and then went back to my home. I was reaaaally tired so I made myself a latte and then found the focus and motivation to study for 3 hours! (coffee is some kind of magic for me ahah)

I also did a load of laundry, cooked and walked the dog so I'm kind of proud of myself for doing all of that and still have the energy to study :))

☀️ 13.02.2024 // still really really tired but I somehow managed to go through it and study (with coffee!). I reviewed the treatment of heart failure, which wasn't an easy thing as the potassium-sparing diuretic were reaaaally difficult for me to understand. But I got it!!

Anyway, I hope I'll get some (better) sleep tonight and some rest tomorrow 💛

🧪 19.02.2024 // I went to my 4 lectures this morning before going back home to study a bit (I also asked questions to my professor and I'm pretty happy about it ahah).

I ended up studying 3 more hours: I studied pharmacology and medchem and I'm happy because I managed to do (almost) all the things I had to do! I also had the results of an "optional course" I was in and they're great but I'll talk about it in another post :))

Moreover my parents came back from their trip and I decided to stay with them one more week. I know it's gonna be really tiring as I'll have to mask 24/7 but I don't have any better choice for the moment :// At least I'll be able to unmask when studying.

Anyway this explain why I'm pretty tired after this day ahah

I also did some groceries but nobody cares expect me ahahah

The weather becomes warmer, which makes me very happy. Today was a very nice sunny day ☀️🌸

• club meeting over Zoom (the first person I heard saying “make sure not to get burnt out” instead of “rip your ass off” ahah. That was nice)

• 1h 26min on forest 🌳 while I completed the video assessment for my financial management class.
