Welp, they blew it. Sega had the chance to let Paramount finally fix Shadow's character, and they had to jump in specifically because of Shadow and force their idiotic mandates upon the director. Now here we are, with Shadow only being a bioweapon with no real backstory and no Maria or Gerald in sight. And yet again, nothing more than a one-dimensional Vegeta asshole whose only reason for existing is to fight Sonic. Our worst fears came true. But of course they did.
