Hilarious that you think anyone gives a shit about your inane sexist opinions. Have fun being stupid and denying science
I’m a feminist, my version of feminism includes trans people. If you don’t like that then block me and stay in your little hateful echo chamber. It really is that simple.

UK petitions
If you are a British Citizen/UK Resident please try and sign petitions on https://petition.parliament.uk/ rather than change.org. The government is under no obligation to acknowledge petitions that are not on their petition website.
at 10,000 signatures the government will issue a public response to the petition
at 100,000 signatures the contents of the petition will be considered for debate in parliament
It’s less convenient to use than change.org as you can’t log in and sign loads of petitions very quickly but this is a measure to prevent bots and people who don’t live in the UK from influencing parliamentary debate. Also you must remember to click the link to confirm your email address for every petition you sign, even if you have used the same email address or your signature won’t be added. Here are just some of the available open petitions that I have signed:
BLM related petitions
Create an independent investigatory commission to help protect ethnic minorities
Condemn the US government for the use of force against its citizens (awaiting response)
Suspend future sales of tear gas and other crowd control equipment to the USA
Making the UK education curriculum more inclusive of BAME history (awaiting response)
Introduce Mandatory Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting (awaiting debate)
Improve Maternal Mortality Rates and Health Care for Black Women in the U.K. (awaiting debate)
Teach Britain's colonial past as part of the UK's compulsory curriculum (awaiting debate)
Add education on diversity and racism to all school curriculums (awaiting response)
NHS and COVID-19 related petitions
Provide adequate PPE equipment for medical professionals working with COVID-19
Require British Sign Language Interpreters for emergency announcements on TV.  (response recieved)
Hold a Public Inquiry into the handling of the Covid-19 crisis (awaiting response)
Make Covid-19 testing available for all healthcare professionals
Investigate NHS Supply Chain performance providing PPE to frontline staff.
Exempt overseas nurses from paying the Immigration Health Surcharge
Citizenship for all immigrant NHS and social care workers - Covid19
Pay Key Workers 2 weeks full pay if they have to isolate.

This post spawned a new headcanon for me that Q-BO is jealous of the ladybug because it has so many legs, and that the ladybug is sentient but can not speak and is jealous of Q-BO because he can talk to the team and knows so much about the world.

Some households from Grenfell Tower are still waiting for new permanent accommodation.
Thousands of people live in accommodation with flammable cladding.
Three years since Grenfell and still no justice.
RIP.

Please pay attention to the language being used by your preferred news providers when speaking about the BLM protests which were refferred to several times as “riots” with protesters “clashing with police” called “thugs” by our pathetic excuse for a PM; and todays gatherings of  which were described as a “scuffle” between police and groups “protecting local monuments” as well as actively lying about fighting between organised BLM protestors and far right ‘counter protestors’. The main BLM protest in London was moved to deliberately avoid any danger of attack from the far right groups, look at videos from today and you will see that the majority of violence that you will see is betwen far right sympathisers and the police.
And if that won’t convince you that the “All LiVeS mAtTeR” people don’t give a single fuck about the police, here’s one of them pissing next to a memorial to a police officer who was murdered in the 2017 Westminster terrorist attack:

fictional characters talking to themselves: groundbreaking epiphanies, solving complex crimes, exasperated pleading with computers, clever comebacks to whoever they were just on the phone with, narrating obvious events for the reader/viewer, full and coherent sentences which relate entirely to the plot.
me talking to myself: presenting a cooking show *tells self to stop talking to myself* 10min random noises solo, giving a ted talk about bees, interviewing people for parts in a film I am directing, tv interview about the success of said film *tells self to stop talking to myself* narrates making a cup of tea, imaginary deep philosophical conversation with my friends, goes back and redoes the entire ted talk about bees because I’ve thought of a better way to word one of the points I made....

Animals for when you are sad
Welcome, I hope this helps to calm your mind and remember that, even if everything is horrible, you exist on the same planet as with these wonderful and unusual bois.
Japanese Emperor Caterpillar - pure 0w0 I give him a 10/10. No other insect is able to radiate this much kindness. The only downside is that he will eventually turn into a butterfly and no longer look like this.
Tumblr media
Costasiella kuroshimae - Underwater 5mm long plant sheep pokemon photosynthesis slug. Absolutely STUNNING. What more could you want from a creature?
Tumblr media
Rosy Maple Moth - adorable. fluffy masters of deception, their bright colours make predators think they are poisonous. The only reason I would not try and stroke is because they are so tiny.
Tumblr media
Quokka - always smiling, sometimes called the happiet animal on the planet. if they could talk they would have squeaky little australian accents and ask how your day was.
Tumblr media
Dumbo Octopus - absolute baby, I would do anything for him.
Tumblr media
Dik Dik - Tiny little antelope from southern Africa only 30cm tall at the shoulder. Eyelashes of a godess. Males have tiny pointy horns. Deserves a disney movie.

Funny how exactly 0 of the people I’ve seen/spoken to who think that removing a statue of a slave trader is “erasing history” are also campaigning for changes to our national curriculum to better educate us on Britain’s role in the slave trade...

Can anyone recommend some actual play DnD/other rpg podcasts to me pls? I’m now up to date with Quest Friends and DnDnD so I’m looking for more with a similar vibe (i.e. laugh out loud funny, great storytelling, don’t take themselves too seriously, don’t mind breaking character). I need more fantasy worlds for my brain to escape to rn

I always find it interesting when people conveniently forget that free speech is and always has been a two way street. Yes she’s entitled to publicly say what she wants and in return anyone is entitled to publicly criticise her if what she says is problematic and offensive. Do you not see that implying that we should not be allowed to have questions and opinions about the things other people say is equally anti-democratic???. I never said she wasn’t allowed to have this opinion, my point is that having these opinions makes her a terf, which makes her a cunt...in my personal opinion.
I am also a grown woman who doesn’t hold any public duty and is entiled to call her whatever I want. You are entitled to reply. We could go round in circles like this for days. If we are not allowed to hold people accountable for  any damaging things that say becuase It’S jUsT aN oPiNiON it becomes impossible to draw the line anywhere and you open the door to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, hate speech, ableism, xenophobia, bullying, body shaming, sexual harrassment etc etc
If I were a well known, well respected childrens’ author who was fully aware that they were idolised by millions of children worldwide I would simply not be a cunt

If I were a well known, well respected childrens’ author who was fully aware that they were idolised by millions of children worldwide I would simply not be a cunt
EDIT:  read this before trying to convinve me that simply me saying the word cunt automatically makes me a mysogynist. The article sums up my views quite well and also explains the difference of the word’s impact in the UK and US which is why I think some of you might be reacting so extremely to me using it.
