Liane & Eric fights are basically a guilt tripping competition and the first one to cry wins

I think Liane has a shelf of trashy white woman erotic books. It had a detrimental effect on Eric and he complains about how stupid they are but kinda loves them and they sort of bond over it. Heated discussions about whether Violetta Annalise should get together with a cold Duke or a hotheaded stableman are guaranteed

this scene is so heartbreaking and it’s not just the meaning of the phrase but how its worded too. not “you don’t know how hard my life is” or “you don’t know how hard it is for me”. no. you don’t know how hard it is to be me. because there’s just something wrong with butters and no matter how hard he tries he can never be normal can never be good enough can never please his parents or his peers. I’m so normal about him I promise

One of the things I don’t like about some guys in fandom making cartman and only him the bearer of all evil it’s how it downplays the larger societal issues. Yes he’s the main bully when it comes to butters but all the other kids bully and ostracise him for being lame and gay too. Yes he’s blatantly and horribly antisemitic but all his classmates (kyle’s best friend included) view it as another kyle vs cartman thing they don’t get involved in and when they do pick sides it’s usually kyle who gets criticised for “overreacting”. Really south park is a conservative redneck town and all characters think and act accordingly

god I need kyle and butters team up to beat cartman to death so bad. one hour long special where nothing happens except they exchange one meaningful glance and then kick cartman till he bleeds and then credits. that’s all

gay stan hopelessly pining after straight kyle is not only the most canon-compliant style, but is in fact the very best flavor of style. “i’m not gay, greg” vibes

People usually either remove Thomas’ homophobia (understandable) or take the most boring route like he beats Craig or some shit, but I think what we have in canon is such an interesting ground for conflict. Craig in canon (and fanon) seems pretty masculine guy and like I’ve said before would probably be proud of that fact. If Thomas is accepting but still slightly homophonic I feel like Craig would need to compensate for the fact that he’s gay. Ofc he wouldn’t see it that way, but there would be constant need for his father’s approval like “yeah I’m gay but I’m not like that I like engineering/sports/IT I’m not feminine and I don’t take offence at jokes my father’s redneck friends make”. But since it’s obviously bullshit Craig would ask himself deep down if his father’s love is conditional, like what if Craig would be like that, would his father like/respect/love him less?
Idk it’s such an interesting and complex conflict, I wish more people did something like that with Thomas and Craig

Sometimes you see Marjorine design and immediately can tell the artist never in their life had a thought less bland than mashed potatoes. And by sometimes I mean 99% of the time.

Liane is hard but interesting character for exploration because like.. what’s going on in this woman’s mind? How did it came to this for her? Does she love her son, truly? Was she always a “dumb whore” or maybe she was more similar to Eric in her youth - we see the hints of her intelligence and interest in art in canon, maybe she was, too, a girl with talent and potential, but shitty family and surrounding and then she just decided to not give a fuck and drown herself in alcohol, drugs and sex. Does she see her reflection in Eric or is he just a stranger in her house?
