When writing always remember… a character flaw is only a flaw until becomes useful. 

Is your protagonist manipulative? Well that’s awful… until they manipulate the antagonist into making a decision that saves the lives of their friends. 

Is your protagonist a skeptic? Well that’s not good… until someone tries to lie to them. 

Is your protagonist overprotective? That sucks… until someone they love is in danger. 

Is your protagonist remorseless? Well that makes them pretty unlikeable… until a hard decision has to be made.

Hi! How about a hikaru or kaoru x reader where they ask her to play the which one is hikaru game and she gets super close to their faces and examines their eyes, then says which one is hikaru. Then, as they stand there slightly stunned she says "after watching from a distance for so long, it's nice to find a flaw." Then one of the twins catches major feelings? They later ask how she could tell them apart and she points out a tiny fleck in his eye? Thx!

"Let's play the which one is Hikaru game!!!" The Hitachiin twins grin as they entertain their guests. Looking over from her seat at Haruhi's table, (name) shakes her head laughing at the twins guests who kept guessing wrong. "I'll be right back, okay Haruhi?." standing up, (name) walks over to the twins and stares deeply into the boy who held her affection with a find smile on her lips.

Hikaru:

"hmm, I'll bet all that you're Hikaru." Taking a step back both twins laugh, as they shake their heads. "Wrong!!" "Maybe next time you'll have better luck (name)!" Rolling her eyes, (name) grabs Hikaru's tie and tugs him closer to her; each other's face only centimeters apart. With a smile on her face, she winks. "Nah, I know for a fact I'm right. "I've held you dear to me for so long, I'd be blind to mistake you for your own twin." She chuckles, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. "besides, if I look closely, your eyes are different. Yours is a bit of a lighter shade then Kaoru's."

Kaoru:

"This one. You're Kaoru, I know you are." "Awww, too bad! Don't worry (name)! Maybe you'll guess right next time!" the twins grin, as they place their arms on her shoulders. Shaking her head, (name) turns to Kaoru, giving him a soft smile as she shakes their arms off. Gently taking Kaoru's face in her hands, she brings his face closer to hers. "Whether you admit it or not, I know you're Kaoru. As similar as you both are to each other, there's a key difference. Your eyes, your eyes Kaoru, have a tiny fleck that isn't very noticeable unless you pay attention." Letting go of his face, she laughs. "Plus, there's no way I'd mistake you for each other, you guys are way more different than you are similar!"
