For the anon who asked for my take on/more info on body neutrality. Please be advised this is just my take on it:
Body neutrality is a fundamental part of intersectional feminism: because beauty standards are rooted in white supremacist culture/ableist culture/heteropatriarchal oppression and capitalist oppression, body neutrality reappropriates and recenters our bodies as OUR vessels/part of us, rather than a site of violence visited on us.
The concept of body neutrality came out of the lived experiences of people with marginalized bodies, who found much of the prevalent discourse about bodies (including body positivity) to be traumatizing.
Bodies are marginalized when they are NOT cis, white, young, able, pain-free, thin, and conforming. This means that almost all bodies are marginalized.
‘So what’s the problem with body positivity?’—the problem is that body positivity focuses on ‘every body is beautiful, every body deserves to be loved’. This is predicated on the idea of expanding existing standards of beauty, rather than striking at the core of how fucked up beauty standards are (see #1 above). It also burdens the body’s owner with the responsibility for loving their body—something that is often difficult to do for people with disabilities, chronic pain, or various forms of dysmorphia.
‘So what IS body neutrality?’ It’s this:
If you’re a human and you’re alive, you have the experience of having a body.
The body that you inhabit is where you live.
The body you inhabit IS NOT a measure of your worth.
The people in your life, and the parts of our society that suggest that your body = your worth are incorrect, and operating from some very terrible and misinformed beliefs (see #1)
It’s okay to love, or not love, the body you live in, or do both at different times. If you’re existing in it, your body is sufficient.

Okay, can we talk about how the answer is all of them /except/ that he forgot?
I think when Blaine first sees Karofsky at that bar - there's a multitude of things going on. He is the first gay man that Blaine has some kind of connection to. That Kurt also has a connection to. And not only does Blaine feel better about not hooking up with any ole buddy the fact that it's Karofsky - who has a shared (somewhat twisted) back history with Kurt -- was appealing.
But I don't think Blaine put /that/ much thought into whatever initial first hook up happened. It was a split second of -- I'm attracted, I'm hurt, I want to be close to Kurt and this is a very twisted way to do that. But also the knowledge of doing this, and that it would hurt Kurt, too in a way, was also there in the split second decision that he made.
Blaine just went on impulse and the complexity of it being Karofsky enticed him.
Interestingly, I think that after the hook up -- when he started to know and understand Karofsky more, he genuinely did like him. Karofsky had changed and grown from the scared teenager he used to be, and Blaine found there was something endearing there.
Blaine definitely was shielding his emotions for Kurt, and Karofsky became a safe place to kind to heal, and eventually there was some genuine affection there.
But yeah - all of the above -- except that he most definitely did not forget...

Writing fanfic is such an odd thing.
With original fiction - those are your creations, and you do with them what you will. They are a part of you in a way that is just different than when you're using something that is shared.
Writing fanfic, though, is an interesting experiment - where you take something that isn't yours and you make it your own. And it can be a part of you, too, as you add your own voice to characters that are shared.
I'm just thinking out loud - because for years (and I do mean years) I've wanted to write X-Men fanfic. I want to write about Rogue. And I want to write about Rogue and Gambit. And I just don't know if I can? I just don't know if I'd ever do justice to their voices?
It's so funny because I can write Klaine in my sleep. Kurt and Blaine have become a part of me and writing them feels effortless. And I think there's a relatability there that helps with all of that.
They say - write what you know, and I don't fully believe that kind of thing. There's no reason I can't write things X-Men related, or that I shouldn't try. I'm just thinking about how much harder it would (or will) be.

X-Men 97 6 Review (And some more thoughts on 5)
I didn't really get in depth on my thoughts for five, and I'm not really going to here, either, but I kind of want to break down the episode. Just for me. Because, omg, it's been a week and I'm still thinking about it. And there's so much to unpack.
It's by far the most complex and the most adult of all the episodes they've done.
And, I mean, it helps that the focus was on characters I like ;)
So, at some point when people will probably not be talking about it any more (my vacation probably), I want to take a bigger look at it.
Meanwhile...
I knew episode six wasn't going to be a continuation. I didn't expect a lot of Xavier/Space stuff though, but it's not surprising.
This episode was fine. I just... am not a huge fan of the space stuff (which is really Chris Claremont's doing - and while I like the guy - man did he love space soap operas).
Do I have a lot to say about Xavier and Lilandra and the Shi'ar? No, I don't. It gets us from point A to point B well enough.
There's some speculation that Xavier's vision of Gambit will dig into the whole Deathbit stuff (in the comics where Apocalypse turned Gambit into death). I don't think it's going there - and this is a nod. I at least hope so... that was not a great moment in comics history. :P
So, yeah, Xavier's coming back. Yay?
Meanwhile - we get more Storm and Forge. I like this story better (LifeDeath is a fantastic comic for Storm), but it's not my favorite. It's not surprising to me that after a heavy death episode we get Storm coming to life again. It's poetic. And, I think it's a nice quiet breather from the events of last week.
I'm not sure it fully worked -- but I did love the sequence where Storm got her powers back. Yeah, let's get this girl back, the team needs her.
And then... the twist of Sinister being behind the attacks. Well, okay then! Sinister is a great villain. Let's see where this goes.
As for moving forward -- I think next week (based on the title) will be about Cable and his story. And then there's the three part finale where things are really supposed to suck. I'm kind of guessing the actual ending of this season will be a cliffhanger as to whether or not everything will be changed....
