Every now and again I randomly remember Damian from "Charmander, The Stray Pokémon" aka one of the franchise's first Hate Sinks.

Y'know, the kid who abandoned his Charmander because it lost a battle where it was at a disadvantage, and then laughed about how it was inevitably going to die waiting for him to come back?

Yeah, him.

I have to give the writers and translators credit for making such a memorably despicable character in spite of him only having TWO SCENES in the episode he featured in.
