is anyone else having problems with potplayer skipping frames?

now when i try to screen capture 1080p, potplayer is skipping the frames (despite my settings being set to every frame) and it results in the gifs coming out fast...

does anyone know how to fix this??

edit: i'm just going to video capture from here on out. that seems to fix things and go much smoother.
