So I watched all of Manifest in the last two weeks and now I’m sad it’s over.

But damn I have to admit I got hooked right away (and I regret not getting into it when it came out but then kind of was glad I didn’t have to wait for all the answers).  May want to do a Manifest thing with Barry not sure if AU or if just smashing the universes together and the Flash shows public support for the 828ers and maybe even helps some of them with their Callings. (If AU Barry will definitely be one of the passengers because reasons).

Barry was rushing to Smallville High. This was the fifth time he was late and he was pretty sure Principal Reynolds was going give him detention or even a suspension if he got caught coming onto campus a full half hour after school was supposed to start.  He could have used his new super speed to make it on time, but he didn’t want to attract the suspicion of people in town. Mostly because he knew if he got caught with a meteor ability it would end up on the front page of the Torch and he didn’t want that much attention while he was figuring out all he could do with his speed.  In his rush up the steps he tripped on the top one, his books flying everywhere as he ran into the door. His cheeks flush red as he saw he wasn’t alone. “I’d be eternally grateful if you didn’t tell anyone how ungraceful this was.”

I will mostly stick to the first four seasons but use Grant Gustin as a fc because it sort of fits with that casting of early 2000s shows for teenage characters.

“Yeah me too. I’ve actually taken to avoiding using the word ‘quiet’ because as soon as someone says it; well it’s seems like all hell breaks loose,” Barry said with a nod. “They didn’t see it like that. More or less they are mad I even did it the first place. Which I understand, I would be too if it’s strongly suggested that I lost someone due to someone messing with the timeline.  That explains a lot about your reaction back then.”

So I’m watching the finale of The Flash....I’m sad it’s ending...but I honestly knew it wouldn’t last much longer after the changes at the CW and DC took effect and I will admit I do believe it was time (I’ve had some problems with the show in the past but I stick it out because I care about the characters)...It’s weird almost all the shows on regular tv I watch are being cancelled and I honestly have little desire to get into anything new on regular tv  (not having cable is a big part of it and I don’t feel like paying for ten different streaming services just for one show on each service)...but I know I’ll get into something in streaming eventually (just sucks all the streaming shows we have to wait two years in between each season and that is if it lasts more than a season or two) although I will admit anymore I’m just constantly prepared for shows to get cancelled....that way when they are I’m not upset....although Superman and Lois is probably the exception to this...and The Boys....and probably The Last of Us (although i know once they get through the second game it’ll probably end since I’m not really sure if they have plans for a third game or not)

Teen: Barry was living in a foster home (or with an aunt and uncle) in Smallville after his mom died and his dad went to jail. One stormy night Barry gets struck by lightning while he was studying the meteor rocks for a school project.  After 9 months in a coma he wakes up to find he has superspeed but doesn't tell anyone since the town is already wary of meteor freaks, but it isn't long before he starts helping people when there is danger in the town.

So this is my idea of  my teen!Barry in my Smallville verse (named All My Dreams Are On the Ground because of the theme song...yeah) now I know it’s the teen verse of that...but since all the teens in Smallville look older I’m not going to use my teen Fc of Colin Ford I think Grant Gustin would work fine and look more the same age as the rest (unless you use a different FC then we can maybe work that out and of course he doesn’t have the fancy Flash suit Cisco made yet so he goes through tons of  clothes and shoes because he burns them up...).....

I’ve been watching Smallville pretty much all day (season three just finished the episode where Ian Somerhalder’s character Adam tried to kill Lana but weird time travel shit happened and yeah) so now I want to play around in my Smallville verse for Barry but maybe a teen version (since where I am at in Smallville Clark is in high school so I think a teen or early college verse would work better and I might actually write it out because if he’s a teen I have better idea why he’s in Smallville and how he got his powers which involve kryptonite and lightning still but not necessarily during one of the meteor showers )....

Either that or it’s mutliverse stuff but again I still want teen!Barry (like he got struck by lightning as a teen/young adult and he still is being mentor by Thawne posing as Dr. Wells).....

“That was…oddly specific,” Danielle remarked.

“Oh trust me; I’d only worked with that team for about two years, and I could tell this was a running theme with that group.”

“Who knows, it could change it up and happen on a Sunday,” Barry said with a grin.  Barry’s eyebrows shot up at the very specific example and realized Oliver has done the same thing to him and he has done the same thing to his team. “Eh, well I can’t say I don’t do that exact thing. I mean I only told my team about Flashpoint when I realized how much I screwed up everyone’s timelines.”

How did I not realize Anson Mount was on Smallville....I knew he looked familiar when I saw him in Multiverse of Madness (I never really watched Inhumans...didn’t watch many Marvel tv shows back then).   Then again there quite a few actors I’ve seen on Smallville without realizing it and then I find them in other stuff...same with Supernatural...I swear early 2000s WB/CW shows had just an insane amount of guest stars who went on to do pretty big movies/shows.

“What in the opposition is he blathering about now?” Danielle’s demon sword Buttercup remarked, a voice that only she could hear because she was soul merged with it.  So she just flicked it between the one scarred over eye and the one moving and blinking eye in the molded badger face in the hilt guard.

“Hush,” she muttered.

“Anyway, I’m sure that’s fine so long as you didn’t find anything that will screw over our universe to a point where we’ll be completely annihilated unless we’re folded into another universe and our counterparts of that universe pick up our memories and life experiences in terrifying dream imagery.  Now Barry, I’m asking you this because you’re my friend…you didn’t find anything like that, right?”

“I find Doc Brown doesn’t seem to realize somethings have to happen in order to keep the timeline in order. Other than that the small stuff can still be a surprise,” Barry said with a shrug. “And come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve heard from any of the Legends lately either. Wonder if they are okay.” 

Pulling out the book he leafed through it. “Nothing like that. Although there is a week where things do get pretty weird, but everything goes back to normal eventually,” he said closing his book again.

Sorry it’s been 4 months. I got a puppy back in January and he’s been keeping me busy...plus I keep trying to read but find myself easily distracted or pulled out by my puppy. Any way his name is Leon (after Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil) and he’s a corgi mixed with a beagle and Jack Russell...let me tell you he’s very vocal and I have never felt safer from inanimate objects and noises outside...

This is when I first got him.

Oliver thought about it…if the Queens Gambit hadn’t gone down, his father hadn’t died. Would he still be the same Oliver he was back then or would he have eventually changed. “I’ve thought about it once or twice, wonder what my life would be like if what happened to me over the past five years hadn’t, and I gotta be honest, I think it was a wake up call a very much needed one, people finally take me seriously and don’t think of me as some rich playboy with parental issues” 

“I didn’t know you back then, obviously. But from what I’ve heard I don’t know if we would have gotten along,” Barry said nodding a bit as he stood up.  He paused thinking for a moment. “Sadly back then I had no friends besides Iris and maybe a few old high school friends who stop really being friends as soon as we went to college,” He shrugged.  “Honestly, i’m sure underneath your rich playboy ways you still had the heart you do now,” he smiled at Oliver.
