What if Blitzwing (before becoming a triple-changer) tried to become Blackarachnia’s friend, when he saw how lonely she was? 

At first she was annoyed by his attempts, cause she wanted to be left alone to her scientific work, so she didn’t want to to make any new companions (that could possibly abandon her) and honestly believed Blitzwing was pretending to care about her… 

But later on, she decided to play along and pretended to be Blitzwing’s friend, cause the flier might be useful to her in the future…
