I constantly wonder why neurotypicals can be so hateful towards autistic people like is it just because they don't understand or
Like what is actually the issue here
It's really hard for me to understand their reasoning too. I think sometimes people respond to things they can't understand with disgust and anger. But neurotypicals aren't always willing to learn to understand us as well. It's something I'm still trying to figure out.

I hate "autism warrior moms". Your whole schtick is talking about how horrible and terrible it is to raise an autistic kid. Hopping onto your "autism mommy" blog and griping about how difficult it is to put up with your child's behavior to conjure sympathy from strangers. You're completely forgetting that autistic people do in fact behave certain ways for certain reasons, just like allistic people do (just differently)! Maybe try and communicate with your child before complaining about them kicking and screaming on the internet! Absolutely mindboggling to me how insensitive it all is.

As long as you aren't harming yourself, stim as much as you want and however you want. Don't be ashamed of the ways you stim, and don't let others try and make you ashamed. There's nothing wrong with stimming and the ways you stim.

I wish every neurodivergent person who has to deal with a large, overwhelming and overstimulating family gathering a very special Happy Easter this year. It's gonna be difficult, but we're doing it together ♡

happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who are self diagnosed
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who are professionally diagnosed
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who were told they "dont look autistic"
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who were bullied for being obviously autistic
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who cant mask
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who have been masking for so long that people would never expect you to be autistic
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who struggle really badly each and every day
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who have learned how to work with their autism and struggle a lot less
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who grew up not knowing what was "wrong" with them
happy autism acceptance month to the autistics who knew they were autistic from a young age and faced hardship because of that
happy autism acceptance month to autistic people.

I don't, I'm sorry :'[ I know someone from the UK who has the same problem… I hope they start selling them in the UK soon…!

From my Instagram!
Saturday I went to a very special place!! I got to buy a bunch of cool stuff, and now I have several collections of putty finished within my own. I now have over 290 tins. I even got my favorite tin signed by Crazy Aaron himself!!! When I told him my name, he recognized me from the letter and art I mailed him!!!! My art is hanging up in his office. It was a one of the best days of my life!!!!!

From my Instagram!!! Recently I was able to meet my boyfriend of 1.5+ years in-person for the first time!!!
Here are all the stim toys I got while I was on my trip! My boyfriend and I made the Mixed By Me tins. The crunchy bead ball is probably a one of the best purchases I've ever made. I got Gumballer at Target, the Mixed By Me kit at Barnes & Noble, the bead ball and Twiddle at the Paper Store, Super Fly and Strange Attractor at a museum, and everything else was at a Learning Express. This post does not include the stuff that came in the mail while I was away :]

HERE IT IS!!! My almost entire (missing 1 Pure Platinum...) putty collection as of now! There's still a lot I'm missing, but hopefully I'll get 'em someday!! This image took over an hour + the help of my mom to set up. It's not perfect, but nothing in this world is.

how you accept your autism? (sorry for bad english)
No need to apologize, anon!
I think a major part of me accepting being autistic is from knowing I'm not alone. There are others out there like me, and I know that my existence can help some of them feel less alone, too.
There are times I feel like I don't fit in, and it can be really hard to deal with. There are also times where I feel like I do fit in, because I am part of a large community where we're all brought together by something we have in common. I'll feel like an outsider in a classroom, a club, a group chat, etc... but I know that there's a community of people out there just like me where I can feel at home. We can all share our experiences and finally feel understood.
Remembering I'm not and never will be alone has had a massive effect on my acceptance of who I am as both an autistic person and a person in general.
