The Supernatural Script Hunt came from humble origins, a handful of fans banding together to collect and preserve our fandom history, making as many scripts as possible accessible to fans worldwide. Since acquiring our first script over five years ago, and then branching out to involve so many fans supporting the work in the years since, it was always our intent to give it all back, and then some.
When we began this project, the fandom collectively had six scripts from five episodes and a single network outline. In the five years since we bought our first script to add to that collection, we are ending the project with a total of 163 scripts from 147 episodes, casting sides from 50+ episodes, 50+ call sheets, arenas from 18 episodes, and other related documents. The time has come for us to offer everyone a final chance to own their very own priceless souvenir of the show and cast we all love so dearly. In doing so, we also want to honor the largest (hopefully!) legacy of our fandom: using our collective power for good. Which is why we're offering up some very special scripts (and a few other items!) in our collection in a raffle to benefit Undue Medical Debt.
Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 so we can erase at least one million dollars in medical debt.
How Undue Medical Debt Works:
You make a donation. They use data analytics to pinpoint the debt of those most in need: households that earn less than 4x the federal poverty level or whose debts are 5% or more of annual income.
Undue Medical Debt buys medical debt at a steep discount. They buy debt in bundles, millions of dollars at a time at a fraction of the original cost. This means your donation relieves about 100x its value in medical debt.
Together we wipe out medical debt. People across the country receive letters that their debt has been erased. They have no tax consequences or penalties to consider. Just like that, they're free of medical debt.
For every $10 you donate to Undue Medical Debt, you will 1) be erasing about $1,000 in medical debt and 2) be able to enter our raffle to win one of the items listed below.

This is kinda random and might be a touchy subject idk, but do you know why the finale script would be from the day after filming wrapped? Like how does that work exactly, why is the "final draft" dated to the day after wrap? Is this something that happens with other scripts too where the final draft is dated after filming wraps? Is it the script they give to editing or something? Would there be differences made between that one and the one they had on the last shooting day or is it just a matter or when it was printed?
Hi, hello, and it's not a "touchy" subject, per se, but you may notice that we haven't linked that specific script in our collection because try as we might, we have never been able to verify its authenticity.
But on the subject of Final Draft scripts, we do have a verified authentic one in our collection, for which we also have all eight days of call sheets and shooting sides. You can compare the text of those shooting sides of 11.07 Plush with the Final Draft version. You'll notice that all the words they say are the same, but in the shooting sides, the header at the top of the page might differ depending on which draft version they were working from on a given day of filming. Every page of the final draft header says Final Draft.
The header from the Day 1 of 8 call sheet of 11.07 Plush, current script revisions (yellow): 9/10/15 (the final day of filming was 9/28/15, for reference):

The Final Draft is indeed the... Final Draft, incorporating all draft revisions at the end of shooting. You're correct, in that it's for postproduction-- editing, vfx, any adr that needs to be done, and the company that programs the closed captions, translations, etc. It avoids confusion and ensures that every department is working from the same script, and not the wrong revision pages, you know?
Things get revised throughout shooting, which you can see in the daily sides. They're printed on different corresponding colored paper so everyone knows at a glance that they're all working off the same draft pages. At the end of filming, once everything's been recorded, set in stone as it were, it's far less confusing to use a different system of knowing everyone's quite literally on the same page.
And all that would typically be finalized after filming wraps. The date on the script has nothing to do with the day it was printed, but the day the draft version was officially finalized.
Mel tracked down the last known filming revision draft of the finale, the goldenrod collated draft. It's dated 08/27/20.
Compare that to an Official Final Draft that Jared posted, dated 9/11/20:
It's very likely all the same text, but as shooting had wrapped, all the other draft versions listed on the shooting script would be revised to Final Draft, so everyone working in postproduction would know they were working from the correct pages.

This rumor is CONFIRMED.
In episode 5.04 (The End) the original script says:
But instead, we become this. The only thing I think we have left, Dean and me, is each other.
(unadorned sincerity)
If Dean says it’s time to go out in a blaze of glory, win or lose, so be it. I’m in. But then…
(smiles easily at Dean)
That’s just how I roll.
This script (which can be seen here) was won by Laura (tumblr user hidefan) in an auction at Rising Con in 2010. She posted it on her tumblr after having the script signed by Misha Collins at the same convention the following year. (x)
In the episode, Castiel says:
Except I used to belong to a much better club. And now I’m powerless. I’m hapless, I’m hopeless. I mean, why the hell not bury myself in women and decadence, right? It’s the end, baby. That’s what decadence is for. Why not bang a few gongs before the lights go out? But then that’s, that’s just how I roll.

Therefore, the line was changed between the original script and the final version in the show, and this rumor is Confirmed.

Hi Mike! I love your work. The Haunting of Hill House is a favorite of mine. I am very interested in the history of the house and the ghosts (unnamed ghosts as well). I read somewhere that at the time the show was filming, you were working on a history of Hill House type of story. I wanted to know if that was true.
This is true. The cold open of several episodes, starting with episode 2, were going to be devoted to the history of the house, and set up a lot of context about the individual ghosts we'd meet.
We had gone as far as to start casting the roles and figuring out how to build various versions of the set to show the house itself under construction, but we had a lot of budgetary issues on that show and were forced to cut the history sections entirely.
I really dug these sections, and I think they would have been very cool.

So we ordered this hardcover Death (2022) by @neil-gaiman with art by Mike Dringenberg, John Totleben, Mark Buckingham, and Chris Bachalo for our favorite promoted reaper Billie (Lisa Berry) to sign at Creation Tour: New Jersey next month.
We'll be offering it as a raffle prize for our fundraiser for Undue Medical Debt [FKA RIP Medical Debt], fundraiser kicks off on April 25.
