The world is a little darker today without the iconic Nichelle Nichols. She had such an impact and will be missed. I loved the story she told about MLK Jr encouraging her to stay on the show because she was role model for millions of young women and girls. I’d like to think Leonard & Deforest were waiting for her at the pearly gates.
