you're probably wondering what the big announcement is going to be? well, here it is! since so many of you voted in this poll, for me to draw the "a curse is a curse" scene from 02X05 of ofmd, i thought...why not draw the whole episode?! so, that's what i'm going to be doing. page by page, scene by scene- i'm (unofficially) recreating 'the curse of the seafaring life' in graphic novel style. this is just a fun little, fan project i've been thinking about doing for a while. there'll be no set timeframe for page updates, as it'll be drawn around my irl schedule but i'm looking forward to seeing what i create! i'll make sure to add a hyperlink to each post, so you never miss an instalment!
if you'd like to support my endeavours, feel free to contribute to my kofi page.
Nimoo is a dancer in a traditional Ladakhi group. Ladakhi people have a beautiful culture that shares similarities with their Tibetan neighbors. The Ladakhi traditional outfits are some of the most sophisticated in the world. Nimoo鈥檚 shoes, for example, are called pabu and are made of woven yak hair. Her headdress is called perak and is studded with gemstones, being passed down from mother to daughter. I took this photo in Leh, Northern India, last year.
Ezidis are the largest ethnic and religious minority in Armenia. They came to Armenia and Georgia in the 19th and early 20th century to escape persecution, as they were oppressed by Turks and Kurds who tried to convert them to Islam. 200,000 Ezidis were killed alongside Armenians during the Armenian genocide - causing many to flee to the Russian part of Armenia.
"being queer is about love" hmm actually being queer is about defying societal norms about gender and sexuality and does not depend on feeling love at all
