I've taken almost a year off of social media, say for a few spotty points here and there, and have been a bit of a recluse. Still adjusting to life now and taking the steps to handle myself, next come social media lol.
Question about su gone wrong ps. Its morbid as hell. Will peridot become corrupted and shatter someone or will she go feral and do the same thing?
Hmn, as fun as that is to ponder I feel like it's a bit far outside the realm of possibility for the characters. Especially with how I understand the concept of gem corruption, I don't foresee much in the way of 'corruption' in the comic.
They aren't actually, but right now they're just trying to keep this dysfunctional party out of early graves. Everyone on Zen's party tends to have a bad habit of throwing themselves into the fray of a fight and not properly preparing or strategizing.
Back in May I wanted to get this tattoo but it didn't come together. After moms passing I sent a email to the artist and asked if they had any availability for a memorial tattoo.
Poppies were one of her favorite flowers. She used to get so excited when they'd begin to grow, and so vindictive when the deer ate them. It was almost comical the length she went to fight the hooved cretins.
Between that and the significance of the flower on my childhood in California it seemed like the right thing to get for this piece. Only got one forearm to use for this sorta thing due to the amount of surgical scars on the left arm and I'm happy with the final result really.
It'll be nice to look down and remember her and her lessons.
Thanks to the awesome Abbey Schulz for taking on the tattoo. Her floral tattoos are divine. If you're ever in New Hampshire look her up for a tattoo.
Nothing like one of your party members going through a crisis and lashing out after seeing old acquaintances killed and a childhood friend turned into a mindless undead. Which, considering the circumstances, really isn’t that out of line for her to be doing. Although, Zen didn’t really put up with their tantrum nor the escalation of emotions in what should remain a impartial combat if at all possible.
Astrid is @madram-aries Paladin for this campaign. Girl had a heart of gold but really tends to get overwhelmed by the horrible situation we’ve found ourselves in as the world descends into further apocalyptical meltdowns.
Does Zenlen use they/them pronouns? Also they’re v pretty
They do indeed go by those pronouns.
Zen really is indifferent to most of the pronouns and will just accept whatever anyone uses for them. Makes it easier really if you think about it.
See the long hair and think, "ah clearly feminine must have tits." They're cool with that. See the slightly more toned chin line and the way they dress and think "Ah refined and masculine what other specimen asides for a Weiner walker could that be?" They might think you're odd but will not argue with you either way and hope that you find better ways to convey your concepts of gender.
I believe... Zen is technically a Paladin and Cleric multiclass currently. Mainly paladin but they needed a bit more to their kit for healing so they took the measures to be able to heal others, thus cleric specialties.
Sorry if this is a weird question but what happened to anon asks?
I turned them off for various reasons, wasn't willing to handle kids being unnecessarily petty while also mourning. I'll turn them back on when I start posting more, out of the country at the moment, don't worry!
So what happened to Comic Gone Wrong? I recently searched for more chapters and saw that the last post was over a year ago
I put the comic on hiatus while handling my mother's declining health and terminal diseases. I was acting as her primary care during her last year with my sister.
I plan to pick it up again, but decided my mother was more important than internet clout.
Hey, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad to cancer, so I can really understand what you must be feeling, and I know how much it sucks. I know I can't do more than offer words of support over the internet, but, I hope they can help, if even just a little.
I've received a bunch of these messages the last few months and honestly it's been really nice to see in my inbox.
My mother passed October 8th at 6 am in the morning after almost a decade of health issues and fighting four kinds of cancer.
I've been pretty absent on here due to her state and the requirements that put on me to ensure her 24 hr care during covid and her decline; but now I'm trying to decide where to go next.
This year is going to be a an interesting one as I figure out how to transition into the future without her. I have projects planned and works I want to do, but for the moment I think I am just taking it day by day.
I really do appreciate the kind words from you and others like you who have reached out.
