Illustrated postcards made in the summer of 2015 during design workshop in small Aegean village of Yahsibey, Turkey, led by prominent designer and educator Borut Vild, and organized by Emre Senan Design Foundation. Note: these cards were only one small part of secondary group project made during this extraordinary workshop, which gathered great people from both region of ex-Yugoslavia, as well as a great team of designers and architects from Turkey. Yahsibey Design Workshop is organized every summer - don’t forget to check it out online!

Now this is ancient photo-graphic project, from 2013! Trivially called ‘’re-Search’ and conceived as a small booklet (so the slides that you see here are actually spreads). I’ve collected a lot of generic, typographic screenshots, and combined them with various photos which were mostly made during summer, around the village of Lipovo (my home place, near Kolašin, Montenegro). Even after 7 years, to me it feels good to look at this, it’s a rare opportunity to watch old works and not die of embarrassment / laughter. Why? Probably because of its randomness, at one point it feels almost poetic, then it jumps to some sort of trivial design gag. The overall impression is kind of soothing. Laid-back summer of 2013! :)

Small portion of ink drawings, mostly from 2016 and 2017. Tiny part of one chaotic archive. I’m used to showing these separately from everything related to design and illustration. Like they were made by different person. Again, they were not a ‘’break’’ from design: I’m still quite sure that they play a big part in design process, even if they belong to a completely different world.

Selection of phone drawings made in Draw! app, mostly around 2014. Part 1! I’m still making phone drawings, but on a bit advanced app, called Artecture. I loved the simplicity of Draw! app and the roughness of drawings, and I was happy that some of these were printed and exhibited. Little experiments on-the-go and a good drawing exercise. But never forget about the pen and paper!

Poster for the theater of Kolašin (Kolašinsko Pozorište) and the play ''Avionspotting'', written by Iva Brdar. At the start of this play, everything seems to be quite normal: all the things at the right place. This harmony is actually an illusion, made up by absurd of the lifestyle, dreams of getaway, or simulacrum of past memories. Poster itself is made as a cover of a manual, it represents instruction and a call for action. This direct information, combined with vulnerable balance, results in a signification of danger.

’’Our Kids’’ - this poster was made for one of the most successful plays which was fully performed by the youngest members of Kolašin theater, back in 2014. The play itself relates to the children game of imitation. While imitating the adults, children are making fun of adulthood. They point at absurd world of adults, their characteristics, needs, aspirations and habits. The game is on, but only until their parents appear.
