Next trolls movie needs a casino scene where branch goes in and cleans the place out due to how good he probably is at rummy. Just have poppy and his bros stare at him the whole time too.

Haha yes 😂 And then his bros will probably be asking him for his secret, to which he tells them that he could teach them to play, but to not expect him to let them win, since he's playing - just like Grandma - for the money 😎

Trolls Headcanons

Sorry for the Trolls spam. That movie has stolen my heart in about eight different ways.  But anyway, have some headcanons.

Branch finds everything obscenely funny when he’s sleep deprived.  Poppy once found him laughing like an insane person in the middle of her pantry surrounded by opened chip bags.  Apparently he thought the sound of opening bags was hilarious at the time.

Cooper goes on exercise runs quite often. His workout playlist of choice is the Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmarron soundtrack.

Branch is the kind of guy who does housework in nothing but his underwear and rocking out to early 2000’s boy bands.  And when he gets into it, he gets into it. Like singing into a feather duster and dancing with a mop into it.  Poppy herself has seen it and thinks it’s the cutest thing ever, but she’s decided not to say anything.

King Gristle believes in dragons.

Smidge is forbidden from picking out what they watch on movie night. She picked ‘The Exorcist’ one night and it scared everyone so bad they couldn’t sleep for days.

Apples to Apples and The Game of Things are Poppy’s favorite games.

Biggie is a very skilled gardener; His watermelons and tomatoes are the best in the area.

Branch often has nightmares about losing Poppy, be it by accidental death or betrayal by the Bergens. When he has these bad dreams he’ll wake up in tears and breathing heavily.  Poppy usually wakes up right afterward and consoles him, holding him tight until they both fall back to sleep.

Fuzzbert’s favorite movie is The Addams Family.

After the events of the movie, Satin and Chenille offered King Gristle and Bridget their services as their clothing designers.  They’re paid quite handsomely.

Bridget and Smidge often hang out and knit.  Most of their conversations involve discussions about their favorite heavy metal bands.  Aside from their constant bickering over whether or not Nightwish or Within Temptation is better  they get along swimmingly

The Trolls helped Bridget fix up her room into something much nicer, building her a wardrobe and even sewing her some new clothes.

I still think one of the best ad gimmicks on YouTube is Grunty Boi from MandJTV. Mikey is a Poketuber and Grunty Boi is his (former) nemesis, a Team Rocket Grunt who originally came in during the ads to steal the product from Mikey. (I should mention both are played by the same person). Over time the characters have become friends and Grunty Boi has moved into more and more absurd humor as he tries extra ventures in his life, such as going shirtless for an ad because he wants to be a fitness influencer or getting a new headset to become a “pro gamer” which gives him magic powers, for some reason. Or showing up in a Team Skull outfit because his stuff was at the cleaner’s so he borrowed his girlfriend’s.

It’s just a nice, fun way to get through the ads that the YT’er needs to make money while I am simply being entertained by the comedy and banter. Still can’t make me play Raid Shadow Legends, but they try, lol.

I know I rarely post anything on Tumblr except reblogs, but hear me out.

So I came up with a Trolls au a little while ago, and my friend (who doesn’t use Tumblr) helped me flesh it out. I am better at writing than drawing, so this is gonna be a lot of text.

Experimented on au:

⁃ The Bergens wanted more taste from the pop trolls, so they experimented with them. A lot of different results happened, but it all resulted in pop trolls not really looking like trolls that much anymore.

⁃ Poppy has gas inside her body, like laughing gas. She has these flaps behind her ears that she normally leaves uncovered because every pop troll was immune to the gas. When the flaps are covered for too long it starts seeping out of other holes in her face. If every hole is covered for too long she explodes.

⁃ Branch has possession powers but because of the grey, he can’t remember his power outbursts. He gets possessed by spirits trying to make him happy and colorful, and doesn’t remember it. When he gets his colors again he starts to remember and starts being able to possess others. Possessing others is tiresome and he passes out after a while.

⁃ Cooper gets affected by the powers of pop during his entire life, especially the gas from Poppy. He goes his entire life thinking he is also an experiment, so when he actually meets trolls like him he is kinda shocked.

⁃ The first movie is pop escaping, and getting the time to actually practice their powers. When Chef attacks they actually manage to escape without anyone being taken. (Creek gets fuckin stepped on)

⁃ So the movie would be about Branch having more outbursts of his powers and the snack pack helping him to control it. When he regains his colors he starts being able to possess others. He practices with the snack pack who is happy to help.

⁃ When the world tour happens, everyone is excited to see other trolls.

⁃ Cooper is actually helped by the snack pack to get him ready to find trolls like him. So when he goes off sooner or later the gas effect wears off, and when he meets those weird birds he thinks the gas is back, and when he’s with funk he is very surprised he is not an experiment at all.

⁃ Meanwhile Poppy, Branch, and Biggie sets off to find and help other trolls.

⁃ Poppy keeps her hair down to not release any gas.

⁃ In Symphonyville Pennywhistle is kinda scared but doesn’t say too much about it.

⁃ In Lonesome Flats country is scared, and during the pop medley, they are more scared than annoyed. They throw them in jail for basically being a treat.

⁃ Hickory is kinda scared but learns a little about them.

⁃ Pop is more happy and honest, so he notices that they are fascinated by him.

⁃ The pop trolls also sorta catch on that Hickory is not really country, but they sorta think it’s because of that he is an experiment.

⁃ Biggie leaves before they meet funk.

⁃ When they meet funk, Cooper has been thinking he fantasized everything but seeing Poppy and Branch reminds him it’s very real.

⁃ Funk shows that they are scared of the pop trolls more than the country trolls, but they remain rational since Cooper is fine even if he lived with them for so long.

⁃ When they learn the true story they are more indifferent to it and don’t mention uniting the tribes against rock.

⁃ When rock attack they get separated, and Poppy and Branch has a fight.

⁃ They separate and Branch gets found by k-pop and reggaeton. He kinda freaks for a moment but then k-pop and reggaeton start fighting and he uses his powers to take control of everyone except Wani and Tresillo. When he speaks he also speaks through the others’ mouths, scaring Wani and Tresillo. He actually resolves it tho, mainly because it’s tiresome to control 6 people and he doesn’t see a reason as to why he should control them when that’s what he tries to stop Barb from doing.

⁃ Meanwhile Poppy is worried about Branch and the fact her gas is building up.

⁃ When the yodelers reveal themselves she feels sad and betrayed there’s really no one like them.

⁃ When rock arrives she has so much built-up gas she has to start shutting her mouth, so Barb kinda just takes it as compliance.

⁃ “This is who I have been afraid of? This little freak?”

⁃ Poppy can’t respond or she will send gas at Barb and Poppy realized that it was her only weapon.

⁃ So at the rock concert, everyone is more scared of pop and not rock, except rock who is focusing on themselves.

⁃ When the concert starts Branch arrives, but no pop troll is really scared of being turned into a zombie. (They are actually immune in a way because of the experiments, but no one knows that.)

⁃ And then the pink smoke starts seeping out of Poppy’s cell. She performs “Hallucinate” by Dua Lipa and the sequence is like a 2010 music video but with the leaders too.

⁃ Everyone is having a laughing fit because of the gas, it’s like they’re trapped inside the laughter.

⁃ Then when all the pent up gas is gone and the song is over she offers to actually talk leader to leaders.

Spruce/Bruce headcanons

*Literally the only BroZone Brother not to have a serious phobia of Doctors. He grew out of that after becoming a dad.

*Is loved fiercely by Brandy's parents.

*Total Male wife when not working.

*Tried to contact his brothers for the wedding. Invites never made it.

*Before he became a father he often wondered what his parents and grandma would think of his wife.

*Had several sleepless night having nightmares of his brothers getting eaten.

*Helps Branch plan dates with Poppy.

*His Wet William gag becomes very popular with teenage Classical Trolls. Branch can't help but find this hilarious. Poppy can be heard cackling with laughter in the background when he finds out.

*Teams up with his bros to prank Cloud Guy and Creek on Prank Day. They have a Prankception.

*He was so smug when his youngest swatted Marshtato Mary like a fly.

*Laughed like a hyena watching Floyd of all trolls flirt with Chaz enough to make him switch sides.

*Might not be scared of Doctors but he can't stand needles. Too many bad memories of the Bergens when they still ate Trolls.

*He knits and has a club on Vacay Island. His mother-in-law is a part of it.

*Archery champ of his school class.

*Can't stomach alcohol of any kind.

*Veneer refused to go along with Velvet's plan so she ropes their cousin Valerian into it instead.

*Veneer is forced to be his sister and cousins butt monkey and like Crimp their assistant is often hurled verbal abuse at.

*Veneer secretly used the security cameras to record his sister and cousin's crimes. He calls the police on them and hands over the video evidence.

*Poppy finds a spell that allows people of other species to be turned into Trolls. She offers it to Veneer who accepts.

*Veneer who just goes by Ven is accepted by the Pop Trolls. He is pleased to find he can sing on his own without having to do what Velvet and Valerian did.

*Ven is adopted by Clay and enjoys pulling pranks with his new dad.

BroZone Family Harmony AU

Unlike the main timeline, John and the BroZone brothers have an epiphany about being "perfect" and Family Harmony. They realize they just have to be themselves. To be brothers who love each other. Their concert is a success and they achieve the Family Harmony. Knowing how powerful it is magically they decide to bust it out if the need ever arrives. Going by this AU these are the changes:

* BroZone never breaks up so Branch grows up with his brothers and grandma.

*Because of the Family Harmony the Bergens are run off after taking a group of Trolls which includes Viva. Those Trolls managed to escape with Viva and move to the Golf Course.

*Poppy still has both of her parents but they insist on her learning how to defend herself. This includes learning to harness the Harmony magic inside of herself to fight.

*Branch and Floyd outside of their band stuff are Poppy's bodyguards.

*Spruce finds Cooper's egg and decides to raise him.

* Clay still has his certification for Finance and Tax stuff but John got a Psychology degree. Outside of band stuff Spruce runs a diner that serves alcohol after seven. Cooper helps out on weekends to earn some spending money.

* Riff runs away from Volcano Rock City because of an abusive Uncle and emotionally distant parents. Floyd adopts him and he immediately called him 'dad'. Floyd was bawling for an hour straight.

* Cuddle piles are a frequent thing in the BroZone household.

* The other Tribes save for Techno and the Bounty Hunters begin making plans to "reclaim" their missing Tribe members when Riff's abusive Uncle lies and says the members who ran away were stolen by the Pop Trolls. Darnell confesses to Trollex and Tressillo he doesn't believe Tremor's story.

* Trollex suggests sending the Bounty Hunters to scope out Pop Village under the guise of travelling first.

Summary: Branch is captured by Velvet and Veneer… and the news does not sit well with Poppy

A/N: A small rewrite of the scene in my oneshot "The Trade" as requested by @webslingerofthegalaxy, who suggested the possibility of Poppy having a different reaction to learning of Branch being captured :)

“This I promise you…”

As Branch held on to the last note of the song, the doll-like siblings' full attention had gone to him. They faced him, a look of astonishment clear on their faces. Clearly, they hadn’t expected Branch to confront them by breaking out singing at random. Nor did they expect him to sound that… good.

Velvet looked at Veneer. Veneer looked at Velvet.

Branch glanced at the two of them.

“Once again, I’ve come here to ask that you release my brother, Floyd.”

The twins grew a malicious smile on each of their faces. “Well,” Veneer said.

“Perhaps we can work out a compromise,” Velvet said, finishing the thought.

In the meantime, Poppy had made her way back to John Dory, Spruce, and Clay, having explained with much distress of what had occurred when she’d spoken to Branch after he and his brothers argued.

“I tried,” she said, nearly on the verge of tears. “I really did try. And I know he can change his mind. But it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen right now…”

The brothers hung their heads. They figured Branch would not be easily convinced to come back, but they could not be mad about it. It was understood why.

“I guess we’ll just have to wait,” Spruce said, a bit defeated.

John Dory gave a shrug of agreement, unable to think of anything else, and hoping that the wait for their brother to come back around wouldn’t be too long.

“Or maybe you don’t have to,” Clay said, suddenly perking up and pointing behind them. “Look!”

The Trolls turned to look in the direction he was pointing and, sure enough, running towards them was the figure of a Troll.

Poppy gasped. “Branch!” She began to run towards him, trying to meet him halfway, when she started to slow her pace after getting a better look. Wait a second. This Troll was not her boyfriend. This nearly-out-of-breath Troll who was sprinting towards them did share some slight similarities to him, though instead of a crop of rich blue hair on his head, it was a vibrant magenta, styled to where part of the bangs obscured his left eye. A single black earring was embedded into his right ear. She reared back in surprise, recognizing him at once. “Floyd?”

Floyd panted, trying to catch his breath. “Yes, yes, it’s me.” He gave a small wave when the other brothers instantly flanked Poppy’s sides, also as surprised to see Floyd before them now.

“Yo bro, it’s good to see you’re okay!” John Dory exclaimed. “You are okay, right?”

Floyd quickly checked himself, ensuring that he was uninjured. “Um, yeah, I think so.” Though he said it, the Trolls could still see that something still wasn’t quite right. He looked very shaken… and extremely worried.

“Dude, how did you escape?” Spruce asked.

“Yeah, those weirdos were something fierce and nasty!” Clay added.

Floyd said nothing at first, looking as though he was recalling something painful. He averted his gaze and looked down at the ground, looking almost ashamed. Poppy felt worry start to prick at her now. Something's not right here... but I need to find out WHAT. She moved closer to Floyd, putting a hand on his shoulder. He flinched at the unexpected touch, but welcomed it. He really needed the comfort right now.

“Floyd,” Poppy said gently, her voice lowered. “Can you tell us what happened? Please?”

The magenta Troll was silent, but he nodded his head, able to find the voice to finally explain. “It was Branch.”

Poppy stiffened at the mention of her boyfriend. But she needed to hear this. “Branch?” she asked.

Floyd nodded. “He came, not too long ago. He asked them to let me go and when they didn’t… h-he sang.” He stopped, recalling the moment. He shook his head. “I never got a chance to hear Branch really sing when we were kids. But now, it… it sounds like… like…”

“Like an angel’s,” Poppy finished, familiar with how beautiful his voice could sound.

“Exactly,” Floyd agreed. “And they seemed to think so, too. So now I’m out here, and he’s…” The Troll trailed off, unable to bear finishing his sentence.

From behind him and Poppy, the three brothers gasped. “They took him!” John Dory exclaimed.

Floyd nodded, looking terribly guilty. “He didn’t have to do it. I wasn’t worth it. I left him!” he cried, wishing more than ever that he could change what happened in the past.

Everyone was quiet for a moment, taking in this new information with grim understanding.

Then, suddenly, Poppy spoke.

“They… took… BRANCH?!”

The brothers were startled out of the silence when Poppy’s voice raised on octave. When glancing at her, they were incredibly surprised to find that the happy-go-lucky Pop Queen had her face twisted in anger and her fists clenched. “They took OUR Branch?? MY Branch?!” she yelled out again.

Floyd felt himself tear up. “I-I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean for it to happen…” he whimpered.

Poppy whirled on him. “Floyd, I’m not mad at you, I’m mad at THEM!” she shouted, pointing back in the direction the magenta Troll had come from, in reference to Velvet and Veneer. She gritted her teeth, her cheeks turning red and her body trembling with rage. “I can let a lot of things slide,” the Queen began icily, “They can go off and be big phony-baloneys all they want… but not with any of you… and definitely not with MY BOYFRIEND!!”

Poppy glared daggers in the direction of his kidnappers. They were still back there in their dressing room, probably getting ready to get up into their talent-stealing antics once again. That image of Branch being sealed in a diamond bottle - getting the lifeforce sucked right out of him, draining him, making him weaker and weaker - made her blood boil, and suddenly imaginations of a very unqueenly-like nature began to flash through her mind - of beating the cupcakes out of those two fakers, of trapping them in some diamond prison and seeing how THEY liked it, of forcing them to free her beloved through any torturous means necessary…

But then she realized where she actually was, seeing the shocked look on his brothers' faces, and realizing how angry she had gotten.

Poppy sighed, feeling it drain out of her a little. "Sorry, guys, it's just… those bastards! They're gonna hurt Branch the same way they hurt Floyd!"

"Girl, you got a HUGE right to be angry!" John Dory replied, not at all disturbed. He was impressed, if anything, for how riled up she got, for it showed how much she really cared about him.

"We can't let anything happen to Branch," Floyd said, "... but how?"

"I'll tell you how," Poppy said, feeling every bit determined. "We're gonna band together so we can save him!"

"She's correctamundo!" JD replied. "It wasn't just you who walked out on him, Floyd... we ALL did," he said, gesturing to himself, Spruce, and Clay. "You were worth it, bro. Because you’re his brother. And Branch is our brother. And those days of walking-out-on-each-other are over. You know why?”

Spruce did, seeing where JD was going with this, and he piped up. “Because we’re a family.”

“And families are there for each other!” Clay added.

"Exactly!" Poppy cried. Then she thrust her hand out in front of her. "So who's with me?"

The hands of John Dory, Spruce, and Clay shot out to join hers. Floyd, still feeling bad for what had occurred, hesitated a second. He didn't know what she or his brothers had in mind, but what he did know was that he wasn't going to let his baby brother down. Not again. So he, too, placed his hand on time of theirs and threw it up in the air when they all did.

“IT’S BRO-TIME!” came the collective shout.

John Dory quickly huddled them together, all the Trolls’ heads nearly touching each other as the group formed a tight circle.

“All right, we need a new game plan,” the BroZone leader said, more determined than ever. “And I think I got just the one. It’s going to take ALL of us, though, so listen in…”

So Poppy, Spruce, Clay, and Floyd did listen in, adding their own input when sought necessary and tweaking what was needed to be tweaked. Soon enough, their plan did indeed start to come together, and soon enough they set themselves into executing the ambitious task.

Dangerous? Maybe. Worth it? One-hundred percent.

Clay Headcanons

- Can handle almost anything. Just not getting a shot or blood. Literally the only time Floyd isn't having a panic attack in a hospital is when he has to find Clay. The Doctors can't help but wonder if it's a theme among the brothers(it is for all but Spruce/Bruce)

-Wears reading glasses while working. (Viva thinks it's adorable)

-Once the Putt Putt Trolls return to Pop Village, Clay helps Poppy keep the village coffers in the clear.

-Has a rivalry with Sky Toronto over who is more accurate in doing Taxes. (Clay is. He got the certificate to prove it.)

-Becomes odd friends with Sid Fret and Trollex.

-Is the only sibling who knows what happened to their parents. He isn't sure if he should be glad or angry.

-Sleeps with a nightlight and an extremely light sleeper.

-Total lightweight when it comes to alcohol.

-Emotional Drunk. Effectively acts like Floyd when he's had to much.

-Favorite stuffed animal is a stuffed duck.

-Watches a lot of crime shows like CSI or Law and Order.

-Has on occasions smacked someone he was working with like Gibbs.

-Is a decent cook but is second to none when it comes to baking.

-His cookies, cakes, and cupcakes have sparked many a BroZone wrestling pit.

-Has met the Bounty Hunters over the years and is on good terms with all but Chaz.

-Amicable ex's with both Wani and Marimba.

-Was pretty much the therapist for the Putt Putt Trolls for years. So he was relieved when he found out there were therapists in Trollstopia.

-Speaks Korean, German, and Spanish due to his friendship with the Bounty Hunters.

-Does meet up with them every now and then to play cards and vent.

-Has a survival podcast he does a few times a month.

-Unonown to Clay, Branch listened to it without fail every time. Even having recordings of it just so he could hear his big brother's voice.

-Has a hidden love of Science Fiction books.

Headcanon: John Dory is really afraid of spiders but Floyd scoops these little guys up like it's nothing

John Dory: Hey, guys! Wha- *sees a little spider* OH MY GOD, GET THIS THING OUT OF HERE!

Bruce: What do you- *sees the spider too and jumps a little bit* Holy shit!

Floyd: Oh, no prob! Come here Mr. Spider. *picks him up with his hand and brings the spider to a nearby bush* There, all done. Nice and easy.
