Hey, everyone! Sorry I haven't been very active lately; I have been preparing for university. Class starts soon, so I probably won’t be active for a few months, but I wanted to let you all know I’m ok and I hope to be back soon!

She was looking at the art, but Yon-Rogg was studying her in his peripheral vision. It would be so easy to run. She wouldn’t catch him, and even if she did, there’s no way she’d be able to hold him down. What he really had to watch out for was the security personnel stationed throughout the city. There’s no way they’d let him go without posting people everywhere in case he tried to run.
After mulling it over in his mind, he decided to wait for a better opportunity. This had nothing to do with the fact that it felt good for someone—in this case, Alexis—to trust him, to care even a little bit. How it hurt to imagine the look of betrayal on his new companion’s face. That was irrelevant, completely and totally irrelevant. Besides, these feelings had to be a trick; he had never been burdened by this kind of guilt on a mission before. It had to be something she was doing, and he was going to figure it out.

Alexis walked down the clean white halls of SHIELD’s dorms. Well, every building had clean halls. It made up for the sorry excuse of office carpet in the other areas.
Even after a month of working with Yon Rogg, she still didn’t understand why Fury wanted him around or why he even wanted her working with the Kree warrior. All she got for an answer was that a friend trusted him, and that we should respect it. If this friend was anything like she had been hearing rumors of, then Captain Marvel was someone to trust. Besides, word was that Rogg would have been killed if he were sent back to his home world. Whether that was truth or rumor, she did not know.
Safety was not a concern. A cuff around Rogg’s wrist kept him from leaving the building. One step outside, and a nerve agent would enter his bloodstream and paralyze him. It would work if he harmed an agent or went on a rampage as well. How this was supposed to earn his trust, no one knew. But it made everyone feel safer.
Alexis Williams knocked on the door to Yon Rogg’s room. Every day at 0800, she would come and they would practice sparring. Then it was breakfast afterwards and whatever else the day would offer. Today though, as long as he didn’t beat her up too much, could be different. She shifted the picnic basket in her arms as she waited for him to answer the door.

Yon-Rogg shrugged as she pulled him away from the painting and led him to another one. This one was much more interesting in his opinion. Something about the way it looked warped yet still maintained perfect form really conveyed interesting concepts.
“I like this one,” he said absentmindedly before turning to Alexis to see her reaction.

Interacting galaxy
Interacting galaxies (colliding galaxies) are galaxies whose gravitational fields result in a disturbance of one another. An example of a minor interaction is a satellite galaxy’s disturbing the primary galaxy’s spiral arms. An example of a major interaction is a galactic collision, which may lead to a galaxy merger.
A giant galaxy interacting with its satellites is common. A satellite’s gravity could attract one of the primary’s spiral arms, or the secondary satellite’s path could coincide with the position of the primary satellite’s and so would dive into the primary galaxy (the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy into the Milky Way being an example of the latter). That can possibly trigger a small amount of star formation. Such orphaned clusters of stars were sometimes referred to as “blue blobs” before they were recognized as stars.
Colliding galaxies are common during galaxy evolution. The extremely tenuous distribution of matter in galaxies means these are not collisions in the traditional sense of the word, but rather gravitational interactions.
Colliding may lead to merging if two galaxies collide and do not have enough momentum to continue traveling after the collision. In that case, they fall back into each other and eventually merge into one galaxy after many passes through each other. If one of the colliding galaxies is much larger than the other, it will remain largely intact after the merger. The larger galaxy will look much the same, while the smaller galaxy will be stripped apart and become part of the larger galaxy. When galaxies pass through each other, unlike during mergers, they largely retain their material and shape after the pass.

Galactic collisions are now frequently simulated on computers, which use realistic physics principles, including the simulation of gravitational forces, gas dissipation phenomena, star formation, and feedback. Dynamical friction slows the relative motion galaxy pairs, which may possibly merge at some point, according to the initial relative energy of the orbits.
Astronomers have estimated the Milky Way galaxy, will collide with the Andromeda galaxy in about 4.5 billion years. It is thought that the two spiral galaxies will eventually merge to become an elliptical galaxy or perhaps a large disk galaxy.

Yon shrugged and shifted on his feet. “Yeah, it’s . . . nice. I guess,” he replied. It’s not that he didn’t like the art; it really was nice. He just didn't get it. He wanted to know why the humans felt so much simply by looking at a piece of art, but he wasn’t there yet. Perhaps by the end of this trip he would understand a bit more.

Yon scoffed; he was waiting in a line to see a painting of the stars—stars he had lived among.
“Come on,” he said, pushing through the crowd. They finally reached the front, and he had to admit, the painting was beautiful. Nothing compared to the view from the skies, though.

Yon-Rogg looked over the map curiously. Eventually, he decided it would be best to go to the back of the museum first and head towards the front. Luckily, the surrealist paintings were near the back.
“Let’s go the to surrealist art first, then we can work our way to the front of the museum,” he said, sharing his thoughts with Alexis. It felt weird to say things like ‘we’ and ‘our’ with anyone other than the Starforce team, but he didn’t hate it. It was just...different.
