I really miss seeing the Buckley siblings together and we didn’t even see them have a cute moment with Jee together 🥺 not fair.

Is it just me or was the goodbye for Michael overly hhhhmmmm. Maybe "dramatic" is not the correct word for it but with the flashbacks added for all his important relations, it reminded me of so many shows who did the same thing when they said goodbye to a character forever. As in, bye bye, see you maybe again in the very last episode of the show for a cameo. From what I understood, they'll be in Haiti for a few months tops, though. Unless the writers will randomly drop the info on us that they decide to live there, which would be a fun way to come back to Michael's initial joking about people voluntarily choosing to live in Haiti, maybe?
I think it was a really nice send off, I assume they had to rewrite it somehow since the actor has to leave. So I do think they did it really great and super nice for the character. He can always come back from Haiti so it’s an open end. Don’t think the actor will come back anytime soon tho so yeah it seems final for now.

regarding the tagging topic that you keep mentioning: i agree with you! in my opinion, all opinions and takes belong in the main tag because... why shouldn't they? it's like looking for fan fiction on ao3. all fan fiction for the same tv show go into the same general tag. all the fluff, smut, whump, mcd, fix-its, aus, self-inserts. everything we love and hate is collected in that one general tag.
what makes the difference is that, aside from the general tag for a show or movie, people add additional tags to enable filtering. we cannot filter tumblr content without agreeing on a consistent way of putting in warnings for others, it's as simple as that. people on here tag trigger warning and content warnings and spoilers, and that seems to work out. i don't understand why the pro-/anti-thing tagging came out of style on here when it was preventing people from swerving out of their lane and simultaneously enabled them to find exactly what they want.
if you post a fan fiction with the correct warnings and tags, the people clicking on it know what is awaiting them, and it's their own responsibility to choose what they want to read. the whole thing with tagging puts the responsibility on the user who curates their own experience because that is exactly where the responsibility should be. if that doesn't happen, people instead demand from creators to censor themselves, even though censorship is the worst thing that could possibly happen to any fandom.
creators aren't bad people for making posts that aren't liked by everyone. i have my fair share of things i've posted that i know a lot of people love, and many others hate. but that is okay because it's tagged, and easily avoided by the ones who choose to do so. it's not bad to tell people (respectfully!) that they didn't tag properly either because every community needs rules. all of that is completely normal practice on ao3 (so many authors even say in their notes "please tell me if i missed any tags!"), and everyone loves ao3 for this exact reason!
tagging serves important reasons. we see that strict tagging rules that is closely administered by mods and "peer-reviewed" by other users leads to a comfortable atmosphere, such as on ao3. this is about making it as easier and more comfortable for all of us. i'm so sad that i have to block so many users instead of just blacklisting specific content. we can disagree on certain topics but that doesn't mean that i'm unwilling to support their other content?
i beg people to start tagging their content on tumblr again.
Couldn’t have said it better, thanks anon!

I do not get involved in fandom drama but oh my days, people need to remember how to be civil in tags. I just want to see gifsets of Evan Buckley, not 400 posts on how Taylor Kelly is the devil?! Like I didn't like BT as a couple at first as I don't like romance but like I love them now and even if I didn't, I still wouldn't want to see a bunch of hate in the buck tags! Sorry for vent but like honestly people need to learn not to tag anti stuff in the main tags!
RIGHT! I keep saying this, people need to tag their shit so I can at least avoid their wrong opinions negativity. They’re ruining my whole fandom experience by not tagging their stuff. Reblogging gifsets only to add negative or anti shit is absolute rude in general, don’t do it!

Buck and Taylor were cute together in this weeks episode. He learned to stand up for himself and not let his feelings be pushed to the back burner, he actually talked out his issues with his partner. He’s growing a lot, it’s not a sign of regression, he is learning to not repeat the same problems he had with Abby and Ali where they both left and his feeling weren’t even discussed or considered.
I am proud of him and he honestly deserves to be happy and if he’s happy right now with Taylor then that’s all that honestly matters, whether they end up together forever or not.

Is it just me or am I imagining things, but after Buck said I love you, too to Tayloe, he started to smile but the scene was cut off really quick, like we couldn’t see his real smile and I’m feeling robbed.

You know what happens sometimes? People get stuck. That’s right, people get stuck. But we have a tool called the Jaws of Life. And that’s what your dad’s gonna use right now. Thanks to him, she’s gonna make it home for dinner.
