I'm relatively new to being a Starscream fan, but, let me tell you, as someone who'd previously only heard about him through hearsay and got the impression he was just a traitorous buffoon, learning about him has been a TRIP. Like, wait, he's competent? He's potentially quite smart? HE'S A SCIENTIST?!? Possibly immortal? Was a pretty decent ruler of Cybertron in at least one universe? But ALSO a kinda goofy traitor at times? And I'm supposed to NOT be Obsessed?!? Li'l bastard jet, I love him!

My first iteration of Starscream I remember seeing was TFA I believe (I saw Armada when I was really little so at the time I didn't remember a ton of it until I rewatched it later), so I can understand the whiplash you get after learning he is A SMART SCIENTIST! I mean, I guess that was somewhat evident in TFA when he created his clones, but nothing prepared me for learning Starscream's G1 history and such later on. It's WILD.
