I spent the whole day working on Astrid‘s chest piece adding details etc only to realize I made some grave fitting errors when I started this project back in 2018(?!). I will have to make a ton of alterations but at least the paint is not yet on xD

So   HAVE A HUMAN ZIM AU I’VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT

Its a mix of inspirations from 3 different au’s by @bamsara , @islandofthesnakes and @truekrisstianity​

SO   I do imagine that Zim would be a child genius  with a rough and lonely home life but I also picture him being very antisocial  (he thinks people and humanity are trash so why bother dealing with others) 

Gir is actually a robot ( a failed invention) but zim can’t bring himself to reprogram Gir’s AI  

I can’t decide whether he’d have parents or if he’s emancipated and has income through his inventions

Either way I like to think he’s very tech savy and is a bit of an internet Icon and makes videos about technology and inventions (like Michael Reeves) and Dib has his own channel dedicated to proving Zim is an alien and that cryptids are real

He initially really hates Dib but as time goes on he gets to know him and becomes less hostile and more tiredly annoyed (and sometimes plays along with Dib’s crazy alien theory)

Dib thinks the Irken Empire is where he’s from but its actually an unheard of Indie Rock band Zim listens to constantly  

and he just likes edgy makeup     I think I’m gonna call it the Vlog AU

I still don’t really think I’ll make it into a physical comic, but maybe I’ll add it to webtoons or something later  for easy reading :D
