So much beauty and light from everyone day 1!! Summer blue skies feeling the desert toasty heat and sweat running down the armpits🙃walking awkwardly into the frame as my anxiety shoots up placing myself in front of the sign. My husband is rooting for me behind the camera to work it and own it 🙈 reminding me to forget the many people around one of the busiest days we’ve ever seen at @pappyandharriets 🏜 the wait for a table was worth every minute of the experience 😋 Don’t kick yourself in the dust because you got some stiff ass poses like someone🙃 but instead acknowledge the fear and anxiety so next time you cross roads with it you know not to allow it to control and hold you back from the things you want to do!! Because once back on the road home that moment is lost and id be more disappointed that I allowed this emotion to overcome my mind. Like a simple picture in front of strangers you’ll never see again lol like who are you!?😭 the moment is now!! But this can definitely be applied to a goal or a destination you’re heading towards!! A new journey to strength 💕 Obstacles and challenges are present to form a path of opportunities and growth. Life is a balance between the good and the bad, it’s the way we perceive and how we control our emotions that allow us to move forward to our greatest strengths💪🏽 We finally got to do our shoot together after a couple of years talking about it since the day we bumped into a bar in redlands ca. Lol Once we got the date down we bounced off ideas of what direction we wanted with this shoot. @little.miss.fitt is a trainer so it was an easy yes to create a vision to fit her personality and life style! with the little gym props she brought and the hidden secluded area made a big difference to tie it all!! I was afraid because we weren’t at a park that it wouldn’t work out but to my surprise this was all we needed for the results ☁️ although our shoot was cut short due to the wind knocking down my flash and breaking when I was distracted to get bts we got my favorite shots from the day!! (video of the incident at the end lol) super bummed over it A lessened learned not to make the mistake and underestimate the power of sand bags to hold your stand 🥲 taking the time to utilize your phone tripod (bts)or finding an assistant could help too! Embarrassed from the incident🙈 we continued a little without the flash and @little.miss.fitt still nailed it!! You can find some of those photos on her page! I love this pink Dino! Dino mate me lol idk Was too excited 😛 that I forgot to take some snaps on the other side with the heart ♥️ written love on it lol If you’re switching lenses make sure you’re not like me and have it properly on the camera 🙃 or else you’ll get half the shots blurred, which sometimes I don’t mind and end up being my favorites🙈 Haven’t done this in a while but A few tips I need to take for myself lol 💘 bring a prop it can help really tie the pictures together and just help you relax as you play 🎨 I don’t even wear purses 👛 but My husband found this at a vintage store in yucca valley called the end and bought it to go along with this outfit also found there! 💘 always keep moving! Dance kick jump freakin stretch to the sky , it’s been one of my go tos as well as the hair flip and why I don’t know hair covering half my face it just naturally happens😭when I get to my pics I’m like why did I do this too much or I did less of that but don’t try to over analyze the past and what’s done. It’s ancient lol don’t allow your ego get the best of you. Just remember how much fun it was and make sure to try to do the move next time:) I’ll try to switch up it soon lmao 💘 save your outfit for your location you want to match the mood with I’ve had this outfit in my closet for months!! I had some locations in mind but nothing called out to me until I saw this on a friends feed and didn’t believe the Dino was pink 😸 at least it gave me some time to lose some bread weight since the skirt wasn’t fitting and the zipper wasn’t zipping lol. Point is, no rushing into it if it doesn’t feel good.
