2. A canon or headcanon hill I will die on

For Aang, Idk if it's a hill I'd die on, but I like the idea of him growing out his hair every now and again. Sometimes you just don't wanna shave, so he just lets his hair grow out and it's a fun lil change of pace for him! Also, no beard. LOL

For Sokka, I really like the idea that he finds his space sword. Or he makes another one!

For Zuko, he’s deeply in love with Katara and they’re happily married LOL.

4. Favorite line

Aang: "You're just a teenager!"

Sokka: “Drink Cactus Juice. It’ll quench ya!”

Zuko: “It keeps blowing up in my face! Like everything always does.”

9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character

For Aang, probably when he realizes that Toph is the girl in his vision! I really like the realization on his face and then later tries to explain to Toph how they found her. “A crazy earth king told me to…”

For Sokka, I think the fight between him and Master Piandao made me appreciate him more. He learned/gained fighting skills that I wanted to learn as a kid, so I thought that was cool.

For Zuko, definitely when he cut his hair and the way it grows in during season two LOL. What can I say, I’m a simple blue alien.

10. Best moment on screen (or in the book)

For Aang, I like the scene where he’s breaking into the Earth King’s palace with the Gaang. The earthbending in particular is so cool!

For Sokka, probably the FN air balloon scene where they’re fighting the Fire Nation and he’s leading Toph and does some crazy fighting moves with a broken leg and clutching Toph’s hand. Hard core stuff right there.

For Zuko, I think the scene where he fights Azula sticks out to me. I think the show made a big deal about blue fire because that means it's more powerful or whatnot, and I just loved seeing him fight Azula and the development in his skills you see from season 1 to season 3.

19. Vices/bad habits

I would say that Kanto is a fidgety guy, especially when he’s nervous. At first glance he looks like a cool cucumber but in reality, he’s not—

Kanto is a people pleaser, too. He has a hard time saying no because he wants to be helpful and for those that know this, they take advantage of it.

He's also a procrastinator, because it only takes a minute if you do it last minute. LOL

21. Drink of choice (not just alcoholic)

Hmm that’s tough—

I’d say that maybe alcohol of choice would be a hard liquor like whiskey? Maybe sake or soju for fun times?

For non alcoholic, he seems like a coffee guy. It drives Toph crazy because she’s a tea drinker.

22. Best physical features

I mean, besides his body, his everything?

I think his floofy, curly hair is one of the best features! One of Toph’s favorites, too. She likes to play with it when they’re having a lazy day and are lounging on the couch.

24. Most annoying habit

I wouldn’t say it’s a habit, but Kanto’s big flaw… he snores <3

It’s loud and sporadic and he denies it completely, but Toph’s ringing ears don’t lie LOL. The family gets used to it, though. He’s their Nakamura noise machine and at some point, they find it a lil soothing.

35. Their idea of a perfect day

Kanto’s perfect day is really spending it with Toph, with the family. If it’s just Kanto and Toph, he loves it when they skip work, lay in bed for most of the morning, and make breakfast together. After, they lounge on the couch, talk, eat snacks, and just enjoy each other’s company.

Kanto and Toph are busybodies and are always on the move, but they like to have a day or two where they just… do nothing. But they do nothing with each other.

50. A memory they’ve blocked out

He has one major memory that’s sort of blocked out by choice but also just blocked because his mind just… does. When he was a young kid, Kanto’s parents died in a fire. He has some scars and burns from the event, but he really doesn’t remember much. It comes in flashes and in waves, but it takes years for him to even piece together what happened.

Kanto loved his parents very much and the fact that he lost them still pains him, even to this day.

Hi Anon, thank you for the ask! I don't mind answering this question, although I don't typically have many headcanons revolving around this. But! I love a good headcanon conversation, so I'm happy to answer questions.

Content Warning: Discussion of Self-Harm

I feel like for this situation, Toph would likely self-harm before she was in a relationship with Kanto, maybe kept it a secret from him if possible. I think that Toph would probably justify this by saying that this is just how she deals with stress or that it's something she does and has always done. It's become a habit and even when things are good, she feels the urge to self-harm. When things are bad, it's a given.

When Kanto finds out, he's heartbroken to know that this is something she feels the need to do. Part of him wants to scream and yell and hold her in his arms until she stops this, but he knows that won't help matters. I think he would try to approach the situation with small questions to gently prod her. Just to get an idea of why she' s doing this to herself. I feel like Kanto wouldn't rest until he helped Toph stop, mostly because he's so in love with her and he can't stand the idea of his favorite person in the world hurting herself.

I can see him sitting on the bed with her, gently cleaning her injuries, applying medicine and ointments onto her scars, placing bandages. He's very careful and gentle not to hurt her and I think Toph would be really quiet during all of this. She'd probably be surprised to know that there's someone that would take this much time to tend to her and her wounds, and she's rather speechless. Kanto would ask her if there are other places that he should work on, and when she shakes her head, I can see him placing a soft kiss on her forehead and laying with her. If it's too early for bed, he'd make her some food and a cup of tea, and they'd talk about all the little things in their day. Maybe at some point they talk about her self-harming or other deep topics, but for now, they're just enjoying the fact that time is slowing down and the world is a little less hectic in her bedroom, and they soak that in. They just sit and eat and talk and enjoy each other's presence, and I think that would become their routine. Kanto would come over more often and would help her with her wounds, address any new ones, make her food and tea, and just stay with her through the night.

I feel like Toph would ask Kanto why he keeps coming over or staying the night, but when it's apparent that he's not going anywhere, she just... accepts this new routine.

And after a while she gets used to it, and she likes it. More than any of her other routines she used to have.

Hi Ronin, thanks for the ask, and your patience!

I would say that Toph is not a fan of country music at all. She hates it and often mentions it if she hears a country song, and Kanto always says he agrees, but in reality, he really likes country music.

It takes him years to even admit this to her, and she can’t believe it. All this time she’s been dating/married to a country music listener </3

LOL she only pretends to be that dramatic to him to get him all nervous and worked up. But really, as long as she doesn’t have to listen to it, he can go all out with the country songs.

For Kanto, he just doesn’t like music that gives him a headache. Heavy metal, EDM when it’s not at the club, Sea Shanties…

Toph knows this and will sometimes play it when he’s around to drive him up a wall. Kanto doesn’t get riled up by music too much, so when he does, it’s a real treat for Toph. And eventually… she starts to like the music LOL. Kanto just has to listen to it and take some Advil lmao.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen Stranger Things, and tbh I’m not sure I ever finished it 0_o I think I only watched up to season three if I remember correctly…

And now I think my family access to Netflix is gone so won’t be watching it for a bit—

But! I do remember Lumax and I thought they were really cute. They had a good banter and chemistry from what I remember. I like that at first, she was just one of the boys in the friend group who could skateboard, play video games, and easily kept up with everything.

I won’t ramble too much like I normally do because all the details of the show are a tad fuzzy, but overall yes, I’m a fan of Lumax :D
