Nyx & LunaRose
Flowers: Angel trumpets (pink one) symbolize creativity/inspiration and honor granted to a higher being/power. Devil’s trumpets symbolize power and caution. Both bloom at night.
I can't thank the absolutely brilliant and talented @lilyoffandoms for this incredible art of Nyx and LunaRose (unicorn). To say that it's stunning is an understatement. This is just spectacular. The pose, the details, the colors!!! I love the play of light and dark! And Nyx's skin reflecting their connection to the stars is everythinggg. Nyx is absolutely beautiful, and Lily captured it so so perfectly! Thank you, Lily, for being the loveliest and the most talented. I'm so eternally grateful to have you in my life!
And thank you @peonyblossom and @choicespride , for hosting the lovely Valentine's Day event that made this possible!

Hidden Romance
[Trystan Thorne x Lilah Rose Masterlist]
Pairing: M!Trystan Thorne x Lilah Rose (F!MC)
Book: Crimes of Passion
Word Count: ~800
Rating/Warning: Mostly teen, but bc of one line mature to be safe.
Prompt: @choicesmonthlychallenge: rainy day; @choicesficwriterscreations; drabble request by nonny
A/N: It's been such a long time since I've written these two that I feel like I didn't get it quite right, but I hope it's still enjoyable.
Synopsis: Lilah makes an interesting discovery at Trystan's apartment.
Tumblr media
Her fingers grazed over the smooth silk fabric of his grey button-down shirt that had pooled on the floor from where she had tossed it the night before. A smile tugged on the corner of her lips as the events of the previous night flickered back into her thoughts. Yet, the rhythmic pitter-patter of the rain on the penthouse windows and the aroma of freshly brewing coffee kept her from lingering too long in what was.
She pulled the luxurious fabric over her arms, bringing the collar to her nose. Inhaling his familiar scent, her smile widened despite her attempts to temper it. Deftly, she slipped three buttons through their respective holes, one after another, letting his scent wrap around her.
Her bare feet padded through his apartment, stopping in front of a large ornate bookshelf. Her fingertips danced gently over the cool spines of the many books lining its shelves. Each row was arranged neatly, every book in its place.
She marveled at the number of titles on display, some she recognized, some she didn't, others in a language she couldn't read—Drakovian, she imagined, but she couldn't be sure that was the only language included.
She paused over a section of philosophical texts. Her brow arched as she curiously pulled one from its place on the shelf, marveling at the ornate gold filigree on its cover. She half expected the book to be unread, but the pages were worn, and she recognized his handwriting from the notes in the margins. She was about to slide it back into the open spot on the shelf when something else caught her eye.
She removed a few more books from the shelf only to discover a series of well-worn, soft-cover romance novels hidden behind the books she had removed. A smirk tugged on her lips as she pulled the books forward, revealing a series of increasingly steamy covers with melodramatic titles.
"I hope this is to your satisf—" his voice trailed away as he found her still looking over his secret collection of books.
"What a diverse reading collection you have here." She held one up with a particularly handsome fireman on the cover, his taut chest dripping with sweat. "I didn't know you were such a literary connoisseur."
"You know what they say," he began, placing the tray of coffee and breakfast treats on his end table. "Variety is the spice of life, and I do life so well."
In a few long strides, he stood before her, his loosely tied robe left little for her mind to wander. "They're also a masterclass in—" his lips drew into a devilish smirk, his fingertips curling under her chin, lifting it toward him. "—human anatomy. There's nothing quite like it."
Her gaze remained unphased, not swayed by the mischievous glint in his eyes. "I take it you've never heard of Grey's Anatomy, the book, not the series?"
"Too many illustrations for my taste. I prefer the written word," he attempted to defend, his voice smooth as his thumb brushed over her lip.
"Uh-huh..." Lilah frowned, her head tipping to the side questioningly. She took a step back, picking up a book and opening a page at random. "Let's see... ah, here we go, an excellent example of said description of human anatomy," she mocked before continuing with reading a line from the text. "...he thrust his swollen spear into the glistening portal of my womanhood, a rhythm so seductive our bodies danced as one until love's sweet lava overflowed, blinding us in its brilliance."
Trystan stifled a chuckle at her tone and the choice of passage.  "What a shining example of American literature, don't you think? I particularly enjoy the metaphors the author uses."
"You mean euphemisms."
"Still very descriptive!"
"Oh, absolutely," she nodded with a playful roll of her eyes. "Very enlightening. I'll have to add it to my reading list."
"See that you do," he encouraged. "Perhaps even borrow my copy."
"I think I'll pass." Lilah tossed the book back at him, sauntering away toward the delicious scent of the fresh coffee. "I will take that, though."
With a delighted smirk, Trystan watched Lilah walk away from him, enjoying how the silk fabric from his shirt fell on her body. "If literary devices aren't your thing, I can certainly think of some hands-on anatomy studies we could engage in."
She sipped the steamy beverage, letting the coffee warm through her as she picked up her phone, reading the new message on the screen. "We've got a case. With any luck, there will be a body for you to—um—assist Ruby with... for your anatomy studies."
"That's not—"
But before he could finish his protest, she had disappeared into the ensuite bathroom, her clothes gathered in her arms.

Thank you to the Nonny who sent the request. I had fun with this even if I'm not 100% happy with how it came out. I love the idea of Trystan reading trashy romance novels lol but as I wrote this, I also considered that Trystan wouldn't hide them but I was already half done. 🤷‍♀️

Ooo I love this! I haven't played AME in like 3-4 years, but the increase in AME content lately definitely makes me want to consider revisiting it.
This is beautiful! The smile and joy is just infectious! I love the tattoo too. What a beautiful way to incorporate the prompts! Truly amazing!!!
I love that you squeezed in one more art this month! I have absolutely enjoyed every piece you've created. Your talent is incredible! Thanks for sharing your art with us!

I may have started AME after drawing this piece for the secret pal exchange. Why did no one tell me this book was kinda a lot of fun and hella better than almost anything recently from PB?!? I’m only on book two but I know (or am at least 99% sure on) Adan’s endgame already (and yes, that’s with knowing all the spoilers from back when these books were releasing).
Also why did no one tell me handsome stranger’s default name was Adam before I played and named my babe? Anyway I obviously had to change the default since Adam and Adan was just way too confusing 😂

We've been to so many incredible places! Thomas: *smiling at Alex's playful questioning* Not the bench. Alex: The park? Thomas: Any place you are. *hands Alex a flower* Any place we all are. *gazes at the twins and Bogart running around the park.* Alex: *speechless, accepts flower, laces her fingers with his and rests her head on his shoulder, watching their beautiful family*

Couples Skate
[Bryce Lahela x Olivia Hadley Masterlist]
Pairing: Bryce Lahela x Olivia Hadley (F!OC) Book: Open Heart Word Count: ~600 Rating/Warnings: general, pointless fluff A/N: Thanks for the request @thosehallowedhalls 💖
Synopsis: Olivia takes Bryce ice skating.
Tumblr media
"I thought you said you knew what you were doing?" His tone hovered between a question and a statement, his amusement evident.
"I said as a child I enjoyed ice skating." She brushed the loose strands of red hair away from her rosy cheeks, taking care to release those stuck to her Chapstick-coated lips. "It's been a while." She readjusted her hat, standing tall as she regained her composure. She stepped away from the railing at the side of the rink, letting the sharp blades of her skates glide across the ice as she once more attempted to skate. She breathed easier as she slid successfully across the glassy surface. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was coming back to her. She had her balance and moved with growing ease. As she circled the rink, she came to an almost too abrupt stop before him.
"See—" Her infectious smile spread wide across her features. "I told you I could do it! Just like riding a bike."
"If you say so," he extended his arm, drawing her closer. "You looked beautiful, by the way."
"Thank you," Olivia tipped her head in pride. "Now, your turn."
"Oh—" His hand rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm okay here."
"Come on," she laced her fingers with his. "I'll be there the whole time."
His brow arched, teasingly he replied. "Is that supposed to comfort me?"
"Hey!" Her hands pressed against his chest as she playfully pushed him away, causing them both to wobble on the slippery ice. "Ahh!" She regained her footing just in time to steady him. "See. I've got you."
"And I appreciate that, but I'm fine here," Bryce offered, reaching for the side of the rink.
"You're telling me that super surfer and cardiac surgeon extraordinaire Bryce Lahela is afraid of ice skating?" She teased, her gaze sweeping over the space. "If the children can do it, so can you."
"And as lovely as the children are, that's more your element," Bryce noted, hoping to distract her.
"You're not getting off that easily. One lap!" She decided, offering her hand again. Her smile faltered slightly, "Besides, I thought you wanted to come?"
"I came for the legendary hot chocolate you promised," he replied with a smirk.
"Well, there's only one way to secure yourself a cup of that delicious hot chocolate. The one with the extra whipped cream and cinnamon on top—" She guided him forward gently. "One lap, and if you still want to leave, we can."
"Okay," he agreed hesitantly, letting go of the railing. "Lead the way."
Slowly, the pair rounded the ice—once, twice, thrice—their confidence and laughter growing with each pass.
As they completed lap after lap, Bryce's initial apprehension melted away. It wasn't surfing by any means, but it wasn't as bad as he expected. With Olivia by his side, he'd happily skate through the night, even if the children surrounding them were faster and had more than a few tricks to show off.
"Enjoying yourself?" She bumped him gently.
"With you?" He squeezed her hand softly. "How could I not?"
She pressed a lingering kiss on his cheek. "Wanna get that hot chocolate now?"
"It can wait," he replied to his own astonishment. "I think I'm getting the hang of this."
"Easy now," Olivia warned. "Don't get too cocky. I'd hate to see you embarrass yourself in front of the adorable children."
"You know I'd even make falling look good." He wagged his brow.
"Why don't I doubt that," she teased, "but let's see if we can both stay upright."
"I think that can be arranged.... for now!" With a wink and a devilish grin, he guided them forward, the pair gliding across the ice, hand in hand, an unforgettable couples skate.

If you made it this far thanks. This is just some pointless fluff of these two enjoying a date early in their relationship.

Adventures With Threep
[Mal Volari x Daenarya Blades 1 + Beyond] [Mal’s Orphanage] [Mal Volari x Daenarya Blades 2 AU]
Pairings: Mal Volari x Daenarya (F!OC) With: Threep, Rayden (M!OC) Book: Blades of Light and Shadow Word Count: > 1,500 Rating/Warnings: General; (mpreg!Threep)
Synopsis: Three vignettes of Threep's life with Rayden, Mal, and Daenarya.
Tumblr media
The regal nesper fluttered through the open window, gracefully moving through the house, looking for his favorite human. Threep landed softly on the floor, his paws a soft pitter-patter against the worn wooden floorboards of the orphanage. Threep's sleek fur brushed softly against his leg.
"Kitty!" Rayden cheered, scooping the nesper eagerly into his arms. He hugged him warmly, nuzzling his face against Threep's. "I've missed you so much!"
"Your sentiment is reciprocated," Threep purred happily.
"Re-sip-prated? What's that?" The young boy questioned curiously as he carried the bat-cat to the couch.
Threep smiled, relaxing in the boy's tender embrace. "It means I missed you too, Rayden."
The child squealed with excitement, plopping down on the couch with his favorite kitty in his lap. His fingers ran gingerly through the creature's silky fur, watching as it shimmered in the sun's rays peeking through the window.
Threep stretched out, enjoying the warmth and comfort surrounding him.
"Oh!" Rayden's eyes popped open in alarm. His small hand pressed against his forehead in a gentle tap. "I forgot! I didn't get you a snack! You must be so hungry."
The nesper's head dipped to the side in contemplation, but instead of jumping at the suggestion, he turned in the boy's lap, offering him his stomach. "Maybe in a bit."
Rayden snuggled Threep closer, happily rubbing his belly.
Tumblr media
"You can't still be hungry," Mal complained as he watched the violet nesper shove another slice of buttered bread into his mouth. His cheeks puffed out from the size of the bite he took, reminding the Rogue of a chipmunk collecting food to bring back to its home, except in Threep's case, he wasn't saving any for later.
"How are you not hungry," Threep whined once he was able to speak again. He lifted one front paw above his brow while the other rubbed his belly, feigning famishment.
"We've eaten a five-course meal—" Mal's fingers adjusted his belt. "I couldn't eat another bite."
Threep's gaze shifted to the bottle of wine sitting beside the Rogue. "You were saying."
"I said eat," Mal corrected, taking a drink of the ruby-red liquid. "I never said drink."
Threep was about to protest when his eyes perked up, noticing a morsel of cake left on Mal's plate. "Since you are soooo full, you wouldn't mind me finishing your cake?"
"Have at it." Mal guided the plate toward the nesper. "When you throw up later, you're cleaning it up yourself. I've cleaned up enough of your vomit recently." His lips pulled into a frown.
Threep's shock quickly fell and was replaced by a satisfied hum as he licked up the crumbs of the delicious dessert.
Mal shook his head with a mix of disgust and wonder. He had seen Threep eat, or rather, in this case, gorge himself before, but this was a new level. Thankfully, as compensation for his services, the crown funded his eating expenses. Mal chuckled at the thought, "That's one way to bring down the monarchy, bankrupt them by enjoying the finest food and drink in the land on them." He raised his goblet up, tipping it toward his companion, who had flagged the waiter down for a honey cake to go.
Tumblr media
"Mama! Mama!" Rayden ran across the small yard of the orphanage, heading for the steps at the back of the house.
"Careful!" Threep hissed, dangling precariously from his position in the boy's arms.
Daenarya met them with open arms at the door at the sound of his cries. "What's wrong?" Her hands cradled Rayden's face, brushing his dark, shaggy hair away from his eyes, looking for any injuries. She scanned down his arms and legs next.
Rayden shook her away. "Not me!" His lip quivered. "Kitty!"
Threep hung loosely from the boy's grasp, his back legs swaying below. "I'm fine." His wings fluttered briefly as he wiggled back more comfortably into the boy's arms.
Daenarya breathed a little easier. She loved Threep, but Rayden was her son, and she thanked the gods, new and old, that he was all right. She gestured for them to sit down on the steps to talk. "What's wrong with Threep?"
"I'm fine," the nesper grumbled. "Is that—" His nose twitched as he sniffed the air. "Banana muffins?"
Rayden held him firmly, despite Threep's attempts to wriggle away toward the sweets. "Look at his belly!"
Daenarya attempted to stifle her chuckle. It was no secret Threep had put on a few (or more) pounds lately. Mal had pointed it out following his lunch with him. "Oh, Threep's okay, sweetie, he just needs a diet." Her eyes narrowed at him. "So, NO! Muffins! They're for the children."
Before Threep could protest, Rayden cut him off. He grabbed Daenarya's hand, placing it on Threep's stomach. "It's all hard and not soft like Papa's when he eats too much. And there's little bumps growing."
She couldn't stop the laugh rising in her throat.
"It's muscle," Threep defended, looking down at his swollen stomach.
"Something's wrong," Rayden insisted, holding Daenarya's hand on Threep. "First, he didn't want to eat and was extra sleepy. Then, he kept getting sick. Now, his belly is hard and has bumps."
Daenarya's smile fell, carefully considering his words. She hadn't really thought about it before. Threep was Threep. He was dramatic, but this—this was different.
"What's wrong with him?"
Daenarya's fingers caressed the nesper's abdomen, feeling carefully for any abnormalities. Her fingers brushed over the bumps Rayden had mentioned. Her eyes widen. "It can't be."
"What? What? What?" Rayden questioned nervously.
Daenarya peered closer, parting the fur to get a better look. Her mouth fell open as she tried to reconcile what she saw, but it was clear—his stomach wasn't the only thing growing.
"Am I dying?" Threep stared down at her hands in his fur. "And I don't mean from starvation, because from that, I am well aware."
"Uh, Threep," Daenarya shook her head in amusement, her knowing smile growing. "With nespers, who—uh— you know—carries the young?"
"Both male and female nespers can carry our progeny—" he began with little consideration for the question, "—but for some reason, males more often...I mean...but...I...I can't be—" His head was spinning.
"Now he can't remember words!" Rayden worried. "Mama, fix him!"
"I can't." Daenara drew her son closer, pressing a kiss on his forehead. "But he's going to be just fine."
"Really?" He sniffled, his eyes glistening in the afternoon sun.
"I'm going to need to lie down," he breathed dramatically.
"You are lying down." She shook her head watching the nesper paw at his stomach. Her attention shifted back to Rayden. "But yes, Threep is going to be just fine." Her hand glided over her own swollen stomach. "Threep's just having a baby."
"What?!" Mal choked on the muffin he had been sneaking as he joined the trio on the porch.
Rayden's face lit up, his eyes popping open as he bounced with excitement. "There's going to be more kitties?!"
"Yup!" Daenarya marveled at the two—well, three—different reactions to the news. Shock (and horror). Excitement. And.... whatever it was Threep was feeling.
"Uhhuhhahh," Threep moaned. "Will you carry me?" He held his paws out toward Mal.
Dramatic—Daenarya decided with a gentle laugh.
"Fat chance bat-cat," Mal sneered. "Carry yourself. You got wings!"
Threep hissed sharply in his direction, his pointy teeth showing threateningly. Mal bared his own teeth in reply, but Threep took little notice, his attention shifted to Rayden once more. He opened his eyes wide, his mouth pulling down. He swallowed his pride, "Kitty up?"
Rayden cheered happily, pulling his favorite Kitty back into his arms. "Let's get you some muffins. You need to make sure the baby kitties have lots of food."
Daenarya watched as the two disappeared into the kitchen.
"You're not going to stop them?" Mal complained. "You said the muffins were for the children."
"Rayden is a child."
"The mangy bat-cat isn't?" Mal whined.
"And you are what? because I'm quite certain those are muffin crumbs you spit up as you choked on the news."
"What? No...." Mal quickly changed the subject. "If we don't put our foot down now, he's only going to get worse."
"Let them celebrate. Rayden is going to be over the moon."
"Sure, but then we're stuck with having a litter of Threeps running through the place."
"One step at a time."
"I guess someone should tell Loola," Mal suggested. "You know since his first thought was securing his own private attendant to carry him around and serve him food."
"Can you blame him? It's not easy carrying another life." Daenarya extended her arms toward him. "I wouldn't mind my own personal attendant to carry me around, fetch me snacks, and maybe offer the occasional massage to help my sore, swollen muscles and joints."
Mal shook his head despite the smile spreading on his features. He knew better than to protest, even as a joke. He slid his arms around her back and under her knees, lifting her into his arms. "You're lucky, I love you so damn much."
"I can't argue with that." She pressed a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose. "Now, take me to get some sustenance."
He roared with laughter. "I've created a monster."
"At least I don't bite..." She grazed his jaw as he carried her, following the path Rayden and Threep had taken. "...much."
Tumblr media
A/N: I'm setting this in my Blades 1 Universe simply because that's the one I've expanded the most and the one I consider my "main" universe. However, Threep will also be the one pregnant in my Blades 2 AU. I've been talking about Threep having a baby for years, and here we finally are.

This is incredibly hard because I’m an over analyzer, but I’ve found that sometimes, distracting myself from my sadness is more effective than trying to make sense of it. :’ ) I hope this little duck comic can help you out a little!
