My thoughts:

I have never used a serum before but this one was a great first! I noticed my pores weren’t as enlarged and because I saw acid on the bottle I thought it might burn >.< but it didn’t :). I definitely noticed my face was plumper and my acne did improve ( note I have very little acne so I can’t really say if it’ll clear it up) definitely saw improvement in skin tone. Would highly recommend!!! My face wasn’t as oily as before either.

My thought:

Okay so I have been using this as a night cream as the last step in my skin care,I did not apply thinly the first few times (my bad 😝). I saw huge improvement in the moisture of my skin in the morning and looked evenly toned after a week. No harsh smell and it’s pretty sticky. I don’t recommend day time use especially if you have oily skin, makes your face look shiny. I had trouble opening the tub the first time, it’s air tight and even hurt my self, use tweezers. It comes with a spatula to scoop with. It’s pretty thick glue like texture. Worked well for me definitely would recommend:3.

I’m sorry I haven’t been active lately 😭😭😭🤭I started the fall semester and I’ve been so busy! I’ll have to go M.I.A.again on Monday so since I have a little time I wanted to review a product I recently purchased.

This gel is so cooling! And it smells wonderful!! It’s not an overwhelming peach scent so I really like that, it almost like you’re smelling an actual peach! It dries well not sticky at all, I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin though. I would use this if I went to the beach all day and got a sun burn to put moisture back into my skin. I’ve recently use this when I stay up late studying, have little sleep and not enough time for my skin care to revive and cool my tired face. I also use it on my elbows if they feel a little dry.

It a clear gel. I think it’s a cute addition for a vanity. Love the packaging.

It doesn’t really do much for my skin since mine is oily and I wished the scent would stay longer. But overall I like it is cute and I pretty much just smell it majority of the time 😅

I bought this peel off mask at Family Dollar for $3.00

I love Freeman face mask and this mask goes on as a pale green gel and dries so you can peel off, the cucumber goes on cool and hydrates my face ^u^. The scent is pleasant and unless you have a spatula it can get messy to put on. Good amount for the price.

Not much to review since this only came with 1 pair of eye masks, boo! 😔

Price : $4.59 The packaging and product were cute, it was the first time I was trying on an eye mask, and the patches were light pink and you could see bits and pieces of eucalyptus and even had a slight scent of eucalyptus. Had a fun time with it and my eyes felt refreshed, easy to use.

I bought this a week ago and have been using it all week, I applied it in the morning and before bed to replace my eye care cream.

The packaging is really cute and the stick it’s self looked like a really precious polar bear >u<

After opening it, I was disappointed about the amount of product, honestly $8.99 for such a little amount, but with these products you don’t really need so much, a little goes a long way.

The eye stick smells nice, a refreshing scent and when you apply it it does have a calm cooling effect, not as powerful as I anticipated (which is a good thing I thought I was going to feel my eyeballs freeze) it does go on a little sticky but dries up as the day goes on. I did tear up a bit twice in that week but, my eyes are sensitive so that is just me.

I didn’t really see much of a difference in my eyes before or after using the product but it was fun to use 💙 I didn’t not like how much product it had I was actually contemplating on returning it on just that, but it was cute.

Korean Skincare Explained Simply

As you know not all of these steps belong just to the Korean skincare routine so it’s useful to know this anyway. Btw I’m just explaining the main steps.

Double cleansing- it’s the idea that washing your face with one type of cleanser doesn’t clean your skin well enough so you cleanse with an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser.

Exfoliating - about twice a week after cleansing to get rid of dead skin so your skincare products work better.

Toner - gets your skin balanced after cleansing and prepares your skin to absorb the rest of your skincare products.

Essence - a lightweight/watery treatment after toner that gives your skin another layer of hydration and can be specific to a skin issue you might have. Basically,a lightweight version of serum while also preparing your skin for serum.

Serum - applied after essence and similar to an essence but usually thicker and stronger. Serum’s are effective because they are concentrated treatments for any skin concern and you can choose one specific to your needs.

Ampoule - has a higher level of active ingredients,it’s basically a stronger serum. You can say that ampoules/serum’s are the same thing though except that you can mix ampoules with your essence, serum, or moisturizer to give your skin a big boost.

Moisturizer - last step in your skincare routine to lock it all in before sunscreen.
