Thoughts on le sserafim's debut
(idk why are these new groups coming up with impossible-to-spell names)
It felt like a breath of fresh air cuz the song isn't too poppy, nor techno like some kpop debuts tend to be. It's not on your face, in the way that there aren't many things going on.
Rather it's pretty much subdued, subtle & classy. And I really liked that the most. It suits their group's image. I love their style, I love their attitude and I love the fluidity in their dance.
I can't tell if it's something I would listen to a lot but it's the kind of debut I respect cuz not many groups are doing it nowadays.
over the period of watching countless debuts I've realized that for me, I really respect the groups whose debut song isn't the hype party bop or electronic dance no. that almost every other group go for.
I love it a lot when I find groups with ballads or just soft songs as their title tracks, and I want to see more of it.

Today on 27Jikan Terebi, an original manga was broadcasted as a collab between “Kuroko no Basuke” and NBA player Watanabe Yuta. It depicts a scene in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the men’s basketball finals between Japan and America. Japan is struggling that even Kagami is being stopped, but Kuroko manages to steal the ball and passes the ball towards the basket. (I’m saying pass because it doesn’t look like his Phantom Shot so I’m assuming he’s not trying to shoot) Watanabe follows up and dunks the ball to wrap up an alley loop.
