How was the bracket made?

This bracket was made based off Tumblr's 2023 year in review ship list, and edited to fit into a workable bracket. Matchups were seeded according to ranking on the list.

What are your stances on voter fraud, campaigning, bribing people with drabbles and/or art, etc?

Enthusiastically in favor, although we do ask that you don't DDOS Tumblr, and ideally don't commit any murders that can be traced back to us.

Why aren't there platonic relationships in this bracket? There were in the AO3 one.

The AO3 data we were working with included all kinds of relationship tags, including platonic ones. The Tumblr year in review top ship list does not.

I have an issue with [x] being included in this poll.

I've seen similarities between Venti and the Eidolons/Oceanids since the Mirage Event.

Remember this? Whenever you gifted an apple a new Eidolon appeared.

It's the apples for me. And Venti being a wind sprite and "taking on another form". And according to Neuvillette "Mondstadts water is crisp and pure".

I'm not good at phrasing my theories but maybe you get what I mean 🙈

i like to think that Neuvilette after going to all the other nations will ultimately condemn the rest of the Seven to group therapy.

I don’t think he’s looking for a fight. His sentences are for the most part neutral observations if not intrigued by mentions of their behaviors and choices of way of life in the present.

With Zhongli, he expects there will be one simply because Zhongli has been notorious for… certain things in the past. So if there is going to be a fight, Neuvilette does not plan to be the one to start it.

Also he’s being overall polite about it too. He could likely find a way into Ei’s plane of consciousness if he really wanted to, but he’s not in a rush, and even if he was in one, he would first respect the laws of another country and ask through the proper channels. He just wants to meet her, and critically assess her character. Though, I can see Yae Miko herself trying to delay that inevitable meeting as much as possible.

I think with Venti he would sit and wait under the windrise tree until the bard shows himself, already aware he’s there and ready to accept whatever punishment Neuvilette thinks he should have, even though he had jokingly told the traveler he would hide from Focalors once.

(half the things Venti says I wouldn’t take seriously honestly, mostly because he’s always wearing a mask no matter how high out friendship level gets.

To me, he’s an elderly who has seen and committed horrors he would not wish on anyone, and likely been forced into his role due to circumstances, in which people needed something to believe in at the time to keep going, and he decided to take on that role for them and ultimately his friend… possibly not thinking he would be needed long term.

He’s 24/7 mourning, as he 24/7 takes on the form of his friend, and I think despite the years that have passed, he doesn’t know how to stop mourning. In some ways, he makes me think of the Oceanids in Fontaine.

Maybe the whole ‘Venti annoys rest of the other Seven’ thing is a bit overdone for me. And i have a lot of feelings about Venti.)
