today's a day to settle in and work. all my chores and miscellaneous errands were done yesterday, so today is all for studying

to do: -summarize compsci notes -compile WGS reading notes -write outline for WGS paper due on friday -drink tea (1 cup so far)

Friday, 9th feb | Happy birthday to my cat, junwon!! Deciding to whip it out at 11 pm wasn't a wise idea, but i had fun sketching him. Nonetheless, i really wanted to color it, but i just can't take the risk of running it

My notes are a mix of basically outlining method tables and mind maps, most of it depends on the topic and information i need to absorb / recent discovery is that i can cook decent enough food [im learning to cook lmao]

Had my first quiz this semester but my score is yet to be revealed since it wasn’t checked on the day but I knew most of it (so i’m guessing i only have like 1-2 mistakes prob)

we also had a suprise mini quiz on Abnormal psychology so i wasn’t able to study at all but thankfully i always read the book and listen to class so i got the highest score together w a few of my classmates (only had 1 mistake). we were told to stand up starting from perfect score.

as someone w a high need of validation, i was kinda disappointed i didn’t get the perfect mark (since it would mean im the only one who got it). but this just makes me wanna study more so yeah gtg study

study girl weekly recap [2/1]

Worked through my structural analysis homework and two geotechnical assignments. I received my first two fluids quizzes back. I got a 92% and an 85%. The first exam is next friday, so I plan to study very thoroughly this week.

Tomorrow I’ll be working on my daylighting site model for the first half of the day. Will hopefully update with a near complete model tomorrow!

had my morning bio lab lecture and then went straight to work for five hours!

finished the chart reviews for the new study i'm working on and started to help transition the new research coordinator for my primary study

went to our second play rehearsal! always a good time, and i got to take home two boxes of girl scout cookies

honestly still having a pretty bad time mental health wise, but i'm taking it easy. cooked dinner (big accomplishment for today) and finished s1 of peaky blinders LOL

gonna clean/tidy up my apartment a bit and then maybe do some readings for next week before bed

wearing a mask in public is an act of love!!

2.2.24 | February started with a rain shower; there is now a small pond at the base of our outdoor steps. Lately, I haven't been motivated to do my language studies at all, but I've been consistent in my early morning readings of War and Peace & I've been progressing steadily through a collection of Pushkin's lyric poems & сказки.
