A girl's four years chronicle: days 72 - 114 / year 01
The first Ramadhan far from home.
It wrecked me.
I couldn't handle the homesickness. I counted the days before I could go home for the weekend, I overslept, I had nightmares, I had insomnia, I cried, I made mistakes at work, I thought of quitting. It was horrible.
Last Ramadhan was so different.
May God give me the strength to carry on...

“There are six stages to knowledge: Firstly: Asking questions in a good manner. Secondly: Remaining quiet and listening attentively. Thirdly: Understanding well. Fourthly: Memorising. Fifthly: Teaching. Sixthly—and it is its fruit: Acting upon the knowledge and keeping to its limits.”

A girl's four years chronicle : days 36 - 39 / year 01
Hi
The past days were great. I felt a little "independent" and could do many things alone without the supervision of my seniors.
Now spending the weekend at my aunt's ✨️

A girl's four years chronicle : days 20 - 35 / year 01
I disappeared for many reasons, mainly because I didn't study lol but also because I went through an experience very similar to the one that happened before the residency exam. What a bummer..
Anyways,
..
The nightshifts were fun especially when the team is cool. I learned a thing or two and studied a bit.
I'm liking the ICU despite the red flags..

A girl's four years chronicle : day 19 / year 01
I had two lectures in the afternoon. It reminds me of my uni days, this is why I love sundays..
When I went back home I studied a part of the first lesson, the respiratory physiology ( a classic ) and I enjoyed it!
My appartement mate taught me some pulmunology medicines because I've always struggled with that.

A girl's four years chronicle: days 13 - 17 / year 01
It was a calm week in the hospital, I only had one patient to take care of ( we even gave her a shower ).
The last nightshift was calm too, and weirdly I felt comfortable enough to have enough sleep there.
I'm not studying enough at home because I find myself busy with the small chores and the weekend nightshifts are not helping. Maybe tomorrow inshallah? We will see...

A girl's four years chronicle : days 10 - 12 / year 01
When there is a nightshift there is a storm of thoughts in my head.
I've started to get familiar with my workplace and coworkers. I was lucky to spend the nightshift with one of the best teams and since it was strangely calm, we had the chance to have a very amusing discussion around a delicious dinner. Now that I started mastering this side, I can go back to the world of books and papers to widen my knowledge in the field.
This discomfort that I'm feeling while adapting to this new level reminds me of the one that babies go through when teething, except that this one will give me ** wings ** instead.
After the nightshift I couldn't have the sleep I needed since I had to attend 2 lectures in the afternoon. It was a painful afternoon.. when I went back home I was too hungry to sleep. After having my cup of milk, I had a shower, then dinner with the girls, we sang together A LOT then I had to talk to my family to wish them a happy new year <3
I miss having friends who already know me.
