the pope lick monster lies in wait under its trestle, waiting for the eventual teenager or stupid kid who wants to test his legend. He tempts the children to climb across the tracks, the kids scream out “come and get me monster, I knew you weren’t real” just as the end this sentence the train horn blares as it comes out of the tunnel. the kids have nowhere to go but jump or get run over. another victim is claimed by the legend of the goat man.

Sheepsquatch, also known as the “White Thing”, is a woolly-haired cryptid reported across numerous counties in West Virginia. It can be very violent but it’s so fluffy and soft like a sheep so worth losing your face to pet.

In honor of my release and 901 Comics, I bring to you the swift peter, a Memphis based cryptid that was seen all over cooper young many years ago. It would fly from backyard to backyard eating everyone’s dogs at night. there were even reports of people chasing it out of their yard just for it to jump to the next one. it is a dog like with huge bat wings and a tail with a hand on the tip that holds a knife to stab things with.

a banshee from Celtic legends can appear as anything from an old hag screaming to a beautiful young woman with red hair and a pale complexion crying uncontrollably, but she is always an omen of death and sickness

the Hodag is a proven hoax from Wisconsin, that become so beloved by the town Rhinelander that it became the town mascot. There are even rumors about it winning contests in the county fair every now and then.

my mom’s favorite cryptid is Papa Noel, the Cajun Santa Claus who’s boat pulled by crocodiles through the swamp. So here you are for all you way too early Christmas people (I dislike you let Halloween have its turn)
