Every artist has a right to turn their joys, sorrows, pain, anger, flaws, and experience into art. Full stop. Without that right, no art would ever get made. It's up to them how veiled or pointed their art is: it's their art.

That's the rule. There are no exceptions.

Trying to pretend that any artist is somehow exempt from this right is petty, unfair, and pointless.

Trying to act like her new work is the first time anyone ever wrote a break up album is also petty, unfair, and pointless.

If you don't like the artist's right to render their experience in art, don't associate with artists. Simple.

they're also big on consent ie cast and crew have to be okay with it before they'll do nudity or something like that in an episode
